Daniel stood before the tower for a few seconds. A gentle wind blew between the massive stone pillars, moving his white hair, but his gaze was still fixed on the sky.
As if he could still see that massive fissure, that sky torn in half, that being who stepped from beyond the world, and that hand which extinguished all his laws with just one movement.
Daniel quietly closed his eyes. He didn't know how much time he had until that monster descended upon this world, but he knew it wasn't far. His intuition warned him that the disaster was closer than he thought.
And with his current power, he knew his intuition wasn't wrong or lying.
Then just one thought crossed his mind: he needed to reach the ceiling of this world's power as soon as possible. A Demi-God. Perhaps then he would have a chance to prevent the disaster.
The space around him didn't even have time to tremble. No magic was released, no fissure was created in space.
