Chapter 31 - Traveling to Nimbasa City and Meloetta.

Miyano Akemi was certainly not just emotional rather than rational; her love for her sister did not mean that her high IQ had been eclipsed by a "love brain." She was actually not entirely at ease with Kaisen.

Forced by the Organization to live a life lacking any sense of security, she was constantly worried about whether Kaisen would truly make up his mind to help her and Shiho.

Although it might be a bit embarrassing to admit, she really wanted to charm Kaisen, to make him unable to stop and ensure he would never leave her side.

"If possible, please let me help you relieve the pressure..."

Following Akemi's gaze, Kaisen lowered his head. "I told you that I would help you and your sister even if I didn't have to."

"I understand, but this is what I am willing to do for Kaisen-kun."

In this way, without any coercion or unfavorable factors hindering their subsequent emotional development, Kaisen naturally would not reject Akemi's kindness.

Releasing his telekinesis to monitor the flow of people in the entire hotel and blocking the view from the window with an invisible barrier, Kaisen turned his back to the outside world, letting Akemi perform freely on her chosen stage.

"Kaisen... what's wrong with you?"

Kaisen looked down and immediately saw the "masterpiece" left by Hiratsuka Shizuka earlier that morning. One item was missing.

"It's troublesome to explain, but anyway, this is not my habit."

"I understand~" Akemi's cheeks were red, and she hesitated but still spoke.

...

In a blink of an eye, the food on the table had been finished.

"Cough, cough, cough—"

Because she ate too quickly, Miyano Akemi choked and was momentarily unable to breathe. Kaisen quickly picked up the drink on the table and handed it to her. After taking a sip, Akemi's pressure was relieved immediately.

But in addition to the choking, Akemi had opened her mouth too wide for a long time because of eating foods with larger diameters, such as baked sweet potatoes, which eventually caused pain in her masseter muscles.

Kaisen rubbed Akemi's cheeks intimately. "Sister Akemi, you should take a good rest before going back to work."

"Okay, but..."

Kaisen knew that Akemi wanted to ask how they would act to rescue her sister Shiho. But right now, Vermouth was still in the city. If she saw the two of them meeting, it would likely cause immense trouble for the Miyano sisters.

It was obviously not appropriate tonight, so it had to be postponed.

"I will find you tomorrow evening."

"Okay."

At the change in Kaisen's form of address, Miyano Akemi showed a satisfied smile; it was worth her hard work. Kaisen glanced at the time. It was already late, and there was only half an hour left before the lunch break ended.

Kaisen still had to bring food for Uika, and he had to meet Reshiram to conquer Meloetta. There was no time to waste on the bill. Thinking of this, Kaisen took Akemi's hand and placed a wad of change from the bank into her palm.

"I have something to do and I'll leave first. You pay the bill."

After saying that, Kaisen's figure flashed and disappeared in an instant. Akemi stared blankly at the spot where he had been, then looked down at the wad of money in her hand. She fell into deep thought.

Although she understood that Kaisen was probably worried that she didn't have enough money to pay for the meal, why did it feel like she had just been given "service" money?

...

In the sky ten thousand meters away, Kaisen saw the white dragon Reshiram again.

"Kaisen, what is it that can't be communicated through the Light Stone?"

"It's hard to say what happened this time." Kaisen briefly described the opportunity before him.

"Go to an unknown dimension and subdue Meloetta?"

"I'm not sure. It could be an unknown special dimension, or another world, or even a hidden part of our current world."

"I understand."

Reshiram took the initiative to enter the Poké Ball that Kaisen produced. This was a huge surprise for Kaisen. If it were any other "White Dragon Warrior," they would just be a toy that Reshiram chose to play with Zekrom. Yes, a toy.

If you really think that you can destroy the world just by getting the approval of a Legendary Pokemon, then you are too naive. Many powerful families worship Legendary Pokemons, but they are used to deter villains instead of attacking their peers.

The reason is simple: Legendary Pokemon are like nuclear weapons, but unlike bombs, they have their own ideas. It is not as simple as taming a Pokemon for profit and ruling the world. Reshiram would not give face to an ordinary warrior. Kaisen looked at the Poké Ball in his hand, which remained silent without any shaking, and recalled the change in how Reshiram addressed him.

This was true recognition. Not as a mere hero of the legend, but as a trainer. Kaisen's mouth curled up. In his hand was not just a heavy red and white ball, but the absolute trust of Reshiram.

"This feeling is so good!"

[Meloetta Coordinates Portal]

Kaisen muttered the command in his heart, and a circular barrier portal suddenly appeared in the air in front of him. With a slight thought, Kaisen flew into it. What came into view was a dense primeval forest.

Under the great trees was a patch of lush grass, and a beautiful song resounded through the silent woods.

Kaisen's superpowers unfolded, and the world in front of him changed. He sensed that in the center of a huge lake deep in the forest, a girl was sitting on a boulder. To be precise, she looked like a girl—Meloetta, with fair skin, a beautiful appearance, and light green musical note hair.

Meloetta hummed a song, enjoying the tranquility and peace of this secret place. Kaisen did not fly over to disturb her directly but looked up at the sky.

His figure flashed, disappearing and reappearing until he reached the top of the clouds. Kaisen came to a conclusion: this space was an independent, special dimension. He had reached the highest point; further ahead, there was something like a mirror above the clouds that he could touch with his hands.

Although the naked eye could see the sun above, neither his body, spirit, teleportation, nor skill attacks could reach any higher. Behind this mirror, there was indeed a sun releasing light and heat.

Flying to the side, Kaisen arrived at another barrier. Outside that barrier, he could see a city that looked human. Kaisen recognized it as Nimbasa City, the city where the supermodel Elesa is located. Circling around, Kaisen found that this was a cylindrical space.

Except for the flora on the ground, everything else seemed out of reach. It was a dimensional space attached to the real world—you could see out, but the outside couldn't see in, and couldn't enter.

"What are you looking for?"

Meloetta didn't seem surprised by Kaisen's arrival. Not only was she not afraid, she showed great happiness.

"You seem very happy to see me?"

"Of course. It's been a night since Meloetta was captured. Now that you are here, I can leave."

"You mean, you were not originally in this space?"

"Hmm~" Meloetta, wearing her black dress, turned around gracefully, and her hair like a music score fluttered in the wind. "Meloetta has been living in the forest, playing music with the Pokemons in the wild, and suddenly I came here."

"So you said that since I am here, you can leave?"

"There is a prompt in my mind. I can leave after accepting your challenge."

"I see."

Kaisen understood. This was the real Meloetta being drafted by the system and forced to serve as the "dungeon boss."

And, from what she said, if he failed the challenge, the opportunity would be wasted. He really couldn't be careless. Fortunately, he had brought Reshiram.
