Chapter 524 - Chapter 524: The Avengers' Early Civil War?

"Damn it, are you guys going to fight amongst yourselves again?"

Before the two could even start fighting, Captain America stepped between them, holding his shield. "The alien invasion just ended, and we have a lot of cleanup to do!"

"Yeah, of course," Deadpool said with a shrug. "I'd love to put down my weapons and contribute to New York City, but someone just had to step on my principles."

"That's my principle too!" Thor said, his face grim.

"No no no, buddy!" Deadpool shook his head and said sarcastically, "This isn't about your principles at all, it's just your arrogance."

"What's going on?" Captain America asked Natasha after a moment of silence.

"Thor wants to take Loki back to Asgard for trial, but Deadpool disagrees," Natasha explained. "He thinks Loki committed serious crimes on Earth and should be tried here."

"I think Wade is right," Tony, in his Iron Man suit, walked over and said. "This guy caused massive civilian casualties in New York City. We can't let him go back to Asgard and get away with it."

"No, Loki must go back with me!" Thor frowned and shouted. "You have no right to judge members of our Asgardian royal family! And I guarantee he won't get away with it!"

"What do you mean 'no right'?" Tony immediately got annoyed and stared hard at Thor. "Do you really think Earth is your subordinate?"

"Let them go. That's an order," Nick Fury's voice suddenly came from Natasha's walkie-talkie.

"Whoa, that's truly terrifying," Deadpool said, shaking the long sword in his hand meaningfully. "Now even a bald egg can order us around!"

Bald egg?

This name made all the superheroes present look at each other, and even Natasha almost broke character. She had to admit, Deadpool was truly something. That nickname was spot on!

"This is the UN Council's order," Nick Fury didn't seem angry, his voice remained calm. "You should understand that even superheroes are subject to the UN Council's jurisdiction."

Captain America was silent for a moment and then said to Deadpool, "Let him go. Obey the order."

He didn't really want to hand Loki back to Thor, but as someone with a military background, he understood that obeying orders was his duty.

"I refuse to comply," Iron Man said, blocking Deadpool before he could do anything. "Even legally, Asgard and the United States don't have an extradition treaty."

"Yeah, of course, we don't," Deadpool egged him on from the side, "Why don't we just have the UN Council pass a law right now and make the extradition treaty effective immediately?"

"Enough!"

Nick Fury finally lost it and roared into the walkie-talkie. "Let go of that damn alien criminal. Even if we put him on trial, we wouldn't execute him. As superheroes, I expect you to consider the bigger picture! And Deadpool, don't forget how you got out!"

"Alright, I definitely won't forget that," Deadpool sheathed his sword and raised his hands. "But all I want to say here is: screw your damn bigger picture!" With that, he grabbed Loki by the collar and ran off.

Stunned.

This situation clearly exceeded the expectations of all the superheroes present. They never imagined Deadpool would defy the organization's orders in such a way.

"Damn it, stop right there!" Thor reacted quickly and immediately tried to chase after Deadpool.

Boom.

However, halfway there, a cannonball suddenly exploded in front of Thor. Tony, in his Iron Man suit, blocked him, extending his palms. "My apologies, this road is closed." As he spoke, the cannonball shot out from his palms.

Bang.

The cannonball finally hit Captain America's shield. The American people's idol breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Stop this pointless fighting. We should find a better solution!"

Crack.

However, just as he finished speaking, a bolt of lightning suddenly grazed past him and shot directly towards Tony.

Hiss.

The lightning struck Tony's Iron Man suit, bursting into dazzling sparks. Tony was also sent flying by the powerful force, crashing through the building behind him.

"Thor, have you gone mad too?" Captain America stared blankly at the scene and turned to ask, "Do you know what you're doing right now?"

"I know exactly," Thor, holding Mjolnir, looked coldly at Captain America. "Now, get out of my way!"

Foul-Mouthed Mask Guy: Wow, what a grand scene, truly a grand scene! Did you guys see that, folks! This is just spectacular!

Doujin Artist: How dare you say that, damn it! You're the source of all this trouble!

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: It's all chaos. This Avengers team has really fallen apart.

At this moment, Saten Ruiko was watching the live broadcast opened by Deadpool, her face full of surprise. Captain America and Thor were fighting back and forth, unable to stop.

Beside him, Natasha, Hawkeye, and Bruce Banner, who had returned to his human form, were at a loss and exchanged glances.

They were probably all wondering, why? Why did it turn out like this? They had already caught Loki, the main culprit, and repelled the alien invasion... why did things end up like this?

Machete Girl: You can imagine how much trauma Bald Egg is experiencing right now.

Curly-haired Guy: Hahahaha, he probably wants to strangle Deadpool to death right now, right?

Soul Society's Villain: Definitely. To him, Deadpool is the source of all evil.

Foul-Mouthed Mask Guy: Screw that. The source of all evil is this scoundrel in my hands! Damn it, he seems to be sleeping soundly. So carefree.

Amegakure Village's Angel: From our perspective, Loki is certainly the source of all evil. But will the UN Council see it that way? To them, handing over a criminal is not a big deal. As long as things can be calmed down, anything is negotiable.

Doujin Artist: Be prepared, Deadpool. I have a feeling you're about to become a wanted criminal again.
