Jay-jay's POV
think I just had a stroke! I almost couldn't move earlier. Good thing the vendor lady called me, or else I might have completely frozen in place in front of that Kiko.
Why do guys that handsome even exist?!
Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but he really is good-looking!
His slightly long, wavy hair, long eyelashes, brown eyes, a jawline that perfectly fits his face, kissable lips, and that tanned skin.
See? I even switched to English while describing him!
I'm currently on the second floor of the Section E building, at my usual spot. I'm eating alone here. I don't know where Ci-N went. The moment I handed him the food, he ran away faster than FLASH. What a weird kid!
I finished eating and was already packing up my lunch box. Since it was still early, I decided to check out the other rooms on the second floor. I was just curious what else was up here besides trash.
There are four rooms here, each with two doors. The rooms are dirty, the jalousies are broken, and the tables and chairs are all damaged. They could still be useful if they were just fixed and the furniture replaced.
I entered one of the rooms. There were papers scattered all over the floor. I was about to leave to check the other room when I noticed a pink envelope with a heart design lying on the floor. It looked so cute that I couldn't stop myself from checking it.
I picked it up and dusted it off since it was covered in a thick layer of dust. I opened the envelope and saw that there was a letter inside.
It's not that I'm nosy… but my brain was itching to know what was written. Besides, it doesn't have an owner. If it did, why was it left here? That means the person didn't want it anymore. Or maybe the person it was meant for never got it. Hmpf! Whatever!
Might as well open it!
The writer used stationery, and judging by the neat handwriting, it was definitely a girl.
Dear Calix,
HAPPY MONTHSARY!! I ❤ U
I'm sorry, this is all I could do for our monthsary. I've been saving up for the shoes you want, and I promise that will be my birthday gift to you.
I wanted to tell you this in person, but I'm scared because you're always mad, so I'm just writing it in this letter instead.
Calix, I want to thank you for choosing me despite all the girls chasing after you. Even though we have to keep this a secret, I'm really, really happy. Don't worry, I don't believe what people are saying—that you have another girlfriend and that you're seeing a lot of other girls. I love you so much, and I trust you completely.
Honestly, sometimes I get annoyed with you because we rarely get to see each other, and when we do, you barely pay attention to me. But of course, I can never stay mad at you. Always remember, no matter how angry or upset I get, all you have to do is shout that you love me, and all my anger will disappear.
Happy Monthsary again!! I ❤ You!
Mica 😘
Why does the name Calix sound familiar? I think he's my classmate! I don't know, I don't know them that well yet. Even though there aren't many of them, I still can't be bothered to learn their names. I'll figure it out eventually.
In love, huh? I have a feeling this Calix is a player. I know I shouldn't judge, but I just feel like it! I have a strong hunch, especially after what Mica wrote about him.
Who is this Mica, anyway? Was she also from Section E? Or maybe she used this room before it turned into a storage area?
I put the letter back inside the envelope. I was going to leave it on the floor, but I hesitated. No one owns this anymore, so I might as well keep it. I'll just pretend someone gave it to me, hehe. So, I slipped it into my bag.
I stepped out of the room and checked the one next to it since it was still early. But that room was completely locked—even the windows were painted over and sealed shut.
What's in there? Why was it sealed?
The bell rang. I hurried downstairs so I wouldn't be late for the next class. Thankfully, our classroom was far from civilization. Even the teachers arrived late. I saw my classmates looking like wilted vegetables. Yuri wasn't here, so I figured they hadn't eaten. Yuri was the one who usually brought them food since, obviously, they were the reason they couldn't go to the cafeteria.
Ci-N, as usual, had a smiling face. Keifer, on the other hand, had a poker face while sucking on a lollipop. I saw Felix pouting at me, looking like a puppy begging for food. I felt bad, so even though I only had one pack of chips, I threw it at him.
My classmates suddenly perked up. But Felix had no intention of sharing—greedy bastard! They all looked at me with puppy eyes, but I just gestured that I had nothing left. So, they hung their heads in disappointment. They looked like they were about to cry from begging.
I sat down and waited for class to start. As I waited, I suddenly felt something cold on my seat, but I ignored it since it went away quickly. Maybe my seat just got cold from being empty for so long.
During class, I had that weird feeling—like people were laughing at me. But every time I looked around, I didn't see anyone actually laughing.
Am I going crazy?!
Even in our next classes, the same thing happened. What's going on? What's with these people?! They must be messing with me again! Damn brats!
Class ended, and my classmates started leaving. I was still packing my things, so I was a bit behind. When I was finally done and about to stand up—something was wrong.
There's definitely something wrong! The chair feels stuck to me. I looked at my butt and… Shit! My skirt was glued to the bench.
I heard laughter coming from the front near the door. Keifer was smirking while Felix and the rest of our classmates were laughing. You animals! They put glue on my chair! Animals!
Damn this!!
I tried to pull it off but it wouldn't budge. Damn!
I glared at Keifer.
"Don't look at me like that... I don't know anything about it," he said and smirked again.
"You bastards!"
They suddenly burst out laughing loudly at what I said.
Ci-N approached me. "What happened to you?"
"Ci! Help me!" I shouted while trying to free myself from the bench.
He tried pulling me. He even put one foot on the bench and yanked me.
"It won't come off!" he complained.
"Ci-N! Just leave that there! Let's go home!" someone from the laughing group called out.
Damn it! Son of a—!
Ci-N looked at me and smiled. "We're going home now."
This damn guy! He's probably teasing me too!
"Animal! You're just gonna leave me after all this?!"
Our classmates suddenly went wild. Damn it! They took what I said in a different way!
"I'm just joking! You're about to cry already!" Ci-N said, laughing.
"Animal! Whoever did this, once I find out — I'm going to skin them alive!" I shouted angrily.
They burst into laughter again, which only made me even more furious. These damn people!
Ci-N tried to pull me up again, but even he was struggling. The more he struggled, the louder the animals laughed!
"Jay, what now? It won't budge!"
Oh, so now this Ci-N is going to piss me off too?!
I glared at him. "Seriously? You're just going to leave me stuck here?!"
"Well, it's because..." He suddenly burst out laughing. "...Stop glaring at me, you look ugly."
Damn it! he's really trying to get on my nerves!
"Ci-N!! I'm going to kill you!"
"Only if you can get out of that seat before I get home." he challenged.
This pest!! My blood is boiling at 45°C!!
I looked at the group of boys still watching us. They were still laughing, and the damn jerks... they were already filming us!
I had no choice. We'd be stuck here until nighttime unless...
"Why don't you just take your skirt off?" Ci-N suggested with a mischievous grin.
Everyone suddenly cheered and some even whistled. Animals!
My face twisted in anger. "F*cking hell! Are you serious?!"
He burst into laughter again. "Just kidding!"
This animal! I feel like crying from pure irritation! Damn it! These guys are going to make me burst a blood vessel!
But he does have a point. I could take it off. I'm wearing black cycling shorts underneath anyway. They're a bit short but look like regular short shorts.
I tried to reach for the zipper at the back, but there was a problem — I could only open half of it because the other half was also glued shut.
Damn it! Ugh!
I'm out of options! Looks like I'm bringing this chair home with me. I was running out of ideas when I suddenly looked at Felix. This animal still owes me! I gave him my snacks so many times!
"Hey, Felix!" I called out. He looked at me. "Hmm?" He answered while pointing at himself.
"Oh no, you're not Felix, right?" I said sarcastically.
He just laughed in response.
"Get over here, Felix!" I shouted.
He glanced at Keifer first before walking towards us. What was that? Was he asking for permission?
"What?" he asked as he got closer.
"Help Ci-N! Get me out of here!" I ordered. He was about to argue, but I cut him off. "You owe me! I gave you food so many times!"
He paused, thinking about what I said. "Okay... I'll help you!"
He grabbed my arm, while Ci-N positioned herself behind me to hold the chair.
"Okay... On the count of three—"
Ci-N interrupted Felix. "Is it after three or exactly on three—"
I yelled at him. "ON F*CKING THREE!"
They both nodded and got into position again.
"One... Two... THREE!" We all shouted together.
The feeling of being freed was supposed to be happy, but along with their pull came the sound of fabric tearing. It ripped! It really ripped!
I didn't even need to ask what it was. I also didn't need to turn around to see Ci-N's reaction. I could just feel how much he was enjoying what he was seeing.
"Wow... Nice ass."
