"Whenever you summon me, nothing good ever happens... Hey, what's the deal with this guy?"

Tagitsuhime was about to tease Midorima when the Six-Tails suddenly spat a glob of sticky liquid at her. She hastily dodged.

"As you can see," Midorima grinned. "We have to fight it."

"Don't say 'we.' Who's 'we' with you? Wait, let me ask—this thing is a 'Tailed Beast,' right?" Tagitsuhime frowned. Being inexplicably attacked by a Tailed Beast put her in a foul mood.

"Yes."

"Why are you fighting it?" Tagitsuhime's head throbbed.

Fighting something like this wasn't something just anyone could do.

Now she understood why Midorima had summoned her.

Sage Techniques required fusing natural energy with spiritual energy and physical energy to create Sage Chakra. Spiritual and physical energy combined to form ordinary chakra, which ninja used regularly. Natural energy, however, required the user to remain still.

Whenever Sage Techniques were needed, it was almost always during the most intense moments of battle.

Remaining still in that state would make you a sitting duck.

Hence, the user needed another "person" to help them.

The person Midorima chose was Tagitsuhime.

However, Tagitsuhime didn't know that even without her, Midorima could absorb natural energy during combat by using the cells he acquired from Jūgo. But this method placed higher demands on him, increased usage of the [Cell Lab], and more importantly, he needed to end this quickly—who knew if Obito, lurking in the shadows, might suddenly appear.

Tagitsuhime bit her lip and complained, "Don't summon me anymore after this."

The Six-Tails' sudden attack had displeased her, but if possible, she didn't want to fight a Tailed Beast at all.

The risk was too great.

Plenty of sages had "fallen." She didn't want to become one of them.

"Later... we'll talk later!" Midorima didn't agree.

Such a good "workforce"—wouldn't it be a waste not to use it fully?

Tagitsuhime suddenly elongated her neck, coiling it around Midorima's throat, then transformed her entire body into a slender white snake.

"You're quite rare in this form."

"If you dare tell anyone, I'll turn into a giant snake and eat you whole," Tagitsuhime "threatened."

Midorima began his Sage transformation. Purple eye shadow appeared, and his Sage Chakra rapidly increased.

"Hey, this guy's body is huge. Ordinary Sage Techniques might not do much to it," Tagitsuhime said.

"I know. But isn't that why I'm here?" Midorima smiled.

The three sacred places each excelled in different techniques. But ultimately, the types of techniques used were related to what they specialized in.

Midorima, however, possessed all chakra natures—something rare in the ninja world thus far. And twice "fleece the wool" from Orochimaru had also taught him numerous techniques.

In other words, the stronger the main body undergoing Sage transformation, the stronger the techniques used.

And this was precisely Midorima's forte.

The Six-Tails spew a lot highly corrosive liquid from its mouth. In no time, it formed a "sea" on the ground. Anything near it—houses, livestock—all melted.

Midorima, relying on Tagitsuhime, used "Levitation" to float in the air.

"This guy doesn't know we can float, right?" Tagitsuhime giggled, teasing.

Just then, pores on the Six-Tails' head began spraying highly acidic gas in all directions.

"Sage Art: Tornado Hurricane!"

Midorima infused his Sage Chakra into the wind. In an instant, before him, air currents rapidly swirled, forming a massive tornado that moved towards the Six-Tails.

Anything near it—houses, furniture—was swept into the air and shredded into pieces.

Wherever it passed, the street looked swept clean, not even a fragment of rubble left.

Mei Terumī, standing at the village entrance a full four to five hundred meters from the battlefield, could still feel the wind's strength, her clothes billowing backwards.

When she tried to shout orders, it felt as if the air had been sucked away. She could clearly feel the air thinning.

This... Midorima... is this powerful?

Mei Terumī looked up at the tornado, utterly astonished.

Obito, standing on a distant rooftop, saw this. His brow furrowed.

Such a huge tornado could almost completely block most of the Six-Tails' attacks.

What was going on...

Obito felt uneasy.

Regardless, the Six-Tails was one of his targets.

If it was defeated, he would need to retrieve it.

Moreover, although a Tailed Beast controlled by the Sharingan was harder to awaken than a person—because it was difficult to get close to one, let alone inject chakra into it—it wasn't impossible.

Considering this, Obito decided to retrieve the Six-Tails immediately.

Now, Kirigakure wasn't completely destroyed, but returning to the average level of the Five Great Villages would take at least ten to twenty years.

After weighing his options, Obito leaped into the air and rapidly moved towards the Tailed Beast. When he was five hundred meters away, he felt the wind's force. At two hundred meters, the tornado had already "contacted" the beast.

"Damn it!"

Obito accelerated, moving towards the tornado.

Midorima had never thought this tornado could lift the Six-Tails, and indeed it couldn't.

The Six-Tails repeatedly tried to attack Midorima, but was interrupted by the tornado. Its massive body was also forcibly cut by the wind, but that was it.

"What are you going to do?" Tagitsuhime hadn't expected Midorima to be this powerful either. Maybe with a little more effort, he could actually defeat the Tailed Beast.

"It's under genjutsu. What we need to do is break it," Midorima said.

Defeating a Tailed Beast was never that simple.

"But its entire body surface is covered in highly corrosive liquid. How do we get close?" Tagitsuhime was puzzled.

"There's always a way, isn't there?" Midorima quickly approached the Tailed Beast. When he was only ten meters away, he extended chakra threads, attaching them to the Six-Tails' body.

When an ordinary person is under a genjutsu, you only need to inject chakra to disrupt their flow. But a Tailed Beast's chakra was far too immense. Injecting a small amount would simply be carried away by the flow. Therefore, Midorima had to continuously inject chakra through the threads.

After ten seconds, Midorima finally felt the Tailed Beast regain awareness.

"Who are you?" The Six-Tails lowered its head, looking at Midorima.

"You've regained consciousness?" Midorima quickly asked.

The Six-Tails didn't directly answer, but continued asking, "What do you want?"

"I just want you to control your power. Stop causing more damage to Kirigakure."

"Kirigakure? Hmph." The Six-Tails sneered. After a brief pause, it finally nodded. "Fine. At least this time, I won't continue the destruction."

Although Tailed Beasts didn't have great relationships with ninja, they also disliked indiscriminate slaughter.

Midorima sighed in relief and dispelled the "Tornado Hurricane."

The wind gradually ceased. Just as Midorima was about to continue talking with the Six-Tails, he was startled to see Obito standing on top of its head.
