Chapter 465 - Chapter 463 - Don't Underestimate Our Steve's Mods!

For this victory feast, everyone decided to hold it aboard the Astral Express. Although there were many people, the Express's party carriage was more than capable of accommodating them all.

To thank everyone for traveling from so far away to help Amphoreus, Fu Zhu decided to personally cook some delicacies to treat the crowd.

Of course, he himself couldn't cook, but!

What does Fu Zhu's inability to cook have to do with Steve?

Fu Zhu decisively purchased the Pam's HarvestCraft MOD from the mod shop. This mod included a vast variety of food items and was a staple in various modpacks. Handling a single victory feast would be no problem at all!

[Pam's HarvestCraft Mod has been installed.]

Fu Zhu put down his crafting table. While crafting the various kitchen utensils required by the mod, he turned his head to look at the crowd, who were sitting on the sofas and at the bar, drinking and chatting.

"Himeko, do we have enough liquor reserves on the Express?"

Himeko looked up from her inventory check and shook her head. "We're running a little low. I'll go purchase some more."

With the Xianzhou Luofu, Xianzhou Yaoqing, Herta Space Station, and the IPC's joint fleet all gathered around Amphoreus, procuring some alcohol wouldn't be an issue. And if that failed, they could still make purchases on Amphoreus itself.

However, Fu Zhu raised a hand to stop Himeko.

---o---

"That's perfect. I'll prepare the drinks as well. I'll let you all taste my special brew!"

Fu Zhu excitedly opened the mod shop again and purchased another mod called [Growthcraft]. This mod's sole purpose was to provide various alcoholic beverages with different buffs. In most cases, it was included in modpacks alongside Pam's HarvestCraft.

With these two mods, Fu Zhu dared to guarantee that he could place in the top three of any divine cooking competition. Catering a single victory feast would be a piece of cake, wouldn't it?

The people around them were a little skeptical when they heard Fu Zhu say he would be responsible for the entire feast by himself.

When it came to fighting, if Fu Zhu said he was the best, they would all believe him.

But cooking… that didn't quite fit Fu Zhu's style.

Herta, sitting in her wheelchair, rolled over and sneered with some disbelief, "The 'cooking' you're talking about isn't just baked potatoes, steak, pork chops, bread, and rotten flesh, is it?"

Others might not know, but Herta was well aware of the kinds of food Fu Zhu usually ate. Back in the Simulated Universe, she had also learned about the staple foods in Minecraft.

The only ones that seemed even remotely palatable to her were the few mushroom stews.

But before Herta had even finished speaking, Cipher, sitting on the other side, was the first to raise her hand in protest. "Madam Herta, that's where you're wrong. The bread Big Brother Fu makes is delicious! It's the best bread I've ever eaten!"

Herta let out a soft snort. Just as she was about to retort about how many kinds of bread Cipher had even tried, she remembered their past experiences on Amphoreus and silently closed her mouth.

Seeing Herta fall silent, Fu Zhu raised an eyebrow at her. "There's nothing in this world I can't do, only things I don't want to do!"

This piqued the interest of Anaxa, who was watching the show from the side. He chimed in, "What about getting pregnant?"

Fu Zhu immediately fell silent. It wasn't that he had discovered he couldn't do it, but he was horrified to remember that there were indeed some messed-up mods like that in Minecraft!

Seeing Fu Zhu suddenly go quiet, Anaxa also stopped smiling. He seemed to understand what Fu Zhu was thinking and silently went back to discussing the archives with Dan Heng.

The others also quickly averted their gazes, all having the tacit understanding not to bring up the topic again. All except one person.

"Big Bro, why aren't you talking?"

March 7th grabbed a piece of fruit from the side and viciously stuffed it into Stelle's mouth. "Just eat!"

Fu Zhu snapped back to reality. He didn't continue the idle chatter with the group. After arranging the newly crafted Pam's HarvestCraft kitchenware, he prepared to start making the various food items, only to immediately run into a problem.

He didn't have enough ingredients!

After all, he only had vanilla Minecraft ingredients on him. Pam's HarvestCraft had many of its own unique ingredients. But that wasn't a problem; a little compensation from Brother Creative would sort it out.

As for why he didn't just have Brother Creative compensate him with the finished food… it was a victory feast, after all. There should be some process, a sense of ceremony!

Besides, it was a chance to show this bunch who didn't believe he could cook his exquisite culinary skills!

Creative Mode, activate!

---o---

Just as Fu Zhu opened the Creative Mode inventory and began taking out various ingredients one by one, Herta wheeled herself over again.

She had originally been bored and just wanted to watch, but when she saw Fu Zhu standing motionless in front of the kitchenware, "staring into space," she assumed he had bitten off more than he could chew and was now brainstorming how to get out of it. After a moment of hesitation, she coughed twice and took out a tablet, poking Fu Zhu in the waist with it.

Fu Zhu, who was busy searching for ingredients, felt someone poking him. He turned his head and saw only a pointy hat. Looking down, he saw the tablet Herta was holding out.

"What's up?"

Seeing him ask what was up, Herta rolled her eyes in annoyance, then said in a low voice, "This is the tablet that can remotely control my puppets. I don't usually cook myself, so I installed a gourmet module on them."

Fu Zhu didn't need Herta to finish to understand that she was offering to have her puppets help him cook.

A wave of warmth washed over him. "Herta, you really are a good woman!"

Herta's pretty face flushed red. She turned her head away and let out a light hmph.

"As someone who's injured, I don't want to go hungry and make my injuries worse. That's all."

"Friendly reminder, being a tsundere is out of fashion."

"Who… who's being a tsundere with you?!"

Fu Zhu chuckled. Whoever raises their voice is the tsundere.

Fu Zhu reached out and pushed the tablet back. Herta looked up at him, puzzled, but he simply lifted his chin.

"Don't underestimate us Steves! It's just cooking. A simple production line will take care of it!"

"Huh?"

Herta was dumbfounded. Who sets up a special production line just to cook? Is this cooking or making pre-packaged meals?

Herta rolled her eyes and wheeled herself away. Whether it was freshly made or pre-packaged, she didn't care. The rotten flesh Fu Zhu made couldn't kill anyone, so his other dishes were even less of a concern.

Besides, for this victory feast, the quality of the food was just the icing on the cake. What was more important was the atmosphere.

Even if Fu Zhu cooked up some mysterious stew that could kill the dead, she was confident his abilities could bring them back.

So she might as well let him do as he pleased. After all, she wasn't the one who would be embarrassed.
