Anthony is not embarrassed that his speculation is wrong. After all, in these kind of situations, it's best to have a working thought and theory to work around on so as not to lose oneself in the rhythm of others. Anthony immediately shifted his focus to any features that may be used to identify the assailant, specifically, he saw the iconic R of Team Rocket in the form of a pair of earrings in the man's ears, confirming that Anthony had most likely attracted the attention of the enemy of his parents.
_This may also have something to do with my dad's retirement, as no one saw it coming, and no one knew the reason besides him and my mom, seemingly wanting to take advantage of the new law to create a Daycare Center. But as far as I know, this is really just a reason... however, their enemies may think that there's some deeper secret on this, like a raid on their base, etc._
Anthony didn't delve much into their purpose, but instead immediately made a command on both Zubat and Miltank that are ready to heed his order at any moment.
"Supersonic to the guy and Rollout to Geodude."
Without hesitation, Zubat and Miltank moved out to make the commands a reality. Zubat emitted a yellow-colored soundwave that targeted the ears of the man that's descending, while Miltank immediately pounced on the Geodude, curled up like a ball. The man and the Pokémon affiliated with Team Rocket are, of course, no pushovers and immediately knew what they should do. Geodude immediately made a glowing rock appear in front of it and threw it towards Miltank, and more of them started launching.
The Team Rocket grunt also put his hands in his ears whilst Anthony created some distance in the Pokémon fight so as not to get hit by Supersonic. Now, these preparations by the enemy would be fine normally, after all, Supersonic is known to disperse after a few meters, while Rollout is supposed to be a straight line move that can't be used to dodge in midair.
Normally, yes, however, Anthony, who's aiming for something other than having two Pokemons to protect him obviously would not have some mediocre knowledge in training them, thus when Zubat's Supersonic reached his ears and pierced the crevice of his hands, the Team Rocket Grunt's eyes started to wain as his brain to go out of whack, shock is evident on his face. Zubat then used Wing Attack on the nape of the man to knock him out.
Just as Zubat finished its opponent, Miltank has already plummeted to the ground to dodge the Rock Throw, and before even the Geodude is able to throw the rock (pun intended) towards Miltank, it already used the 3rd law of motion to bounce up to the underside of Geodude, who wasn't able to dodge properly due to the heavy glowing rock in its hands.
"Geooooaaaahh!"
The Geodude cried out as it was hit by Miltank and got hit in its behind before
Anthony sighed at this, glad that his Pokemons had been trained rigorously. Soon, however, he immediately got out of his trance as he realized that he had to disarm the grunt. Anthony approached the man and immediately retrieved a Pokeball, apparently the Pokeball of Geodude, and made it return to it before putting it away. He also removed the rope and taser from the grunt before making Miltank help him tie the grunt up.
_Let's put this Pokémon somewhere safe... oh, thank god it doesn't know of Self-destruct yet, or was given an order not to use it so that I'll be abducted alive..._
After putting the Poke Ball in a PC's Poke Ball compartment and transforming it into data and putting it in a virtual box that Anthony named 'Rocket Grunt Pokemons', he immediately looked at the door.
"Lead the front Zubat, see if you can penetrate the door using echolocation, and tell if there are people outside."
Zubat, still having all of its fur bristled nodded. The two Pokemons are already putting themselves in front of Anthony, who is also looking at the door in front of him, thus Zubat doesn't need to adjust its position as it immediately syphoned some air in order to create a more penetrative echolocation. However, the moment Zubat did so, the door in front of them suddenly screeched hard before falling down with a bang.
"Zuuuu!"
"Miiiiii!"
The two Pokémon that are on high alert immediately made menacing and provocative sounds. In front of a destroyed door is a giant dark hand that's being retracted and hidden in a rag cloth that has several patches on it. The rag cloth resembles a poorly embroidered Pickachu that's loosely standing up.
It was a Mimikyu, making Anthony and co. nervous. For the Pokémon, they instinctively knew that the Mimikyu in front of them was strong, and if it was someone owned by the enemy, they would have no way of defending Anthony and may have to sacrifice themselves just for their master to escape. Anthony is also thinking of the same, particularly so that Mimikyu, according to the books, can be generalized as devoted Pokemons who will see anyone antagonized by its master as an enemy. He realized that the Pokémon seemed to be nervously shuffling as it slowly approached them.
"Calm down, you two."
The two Pokemons craned their necks towards their master, hesitant to do so yet still abiding by Anthony's demand. Soon, Mimikyu was finally able to fetch a card under its rag cloth.
"Kyuumikyuu..."
It has the seal of the Pokémon League as well as 'Elite 4' on top of it and the name, age, address, and other information of the Ghost-type expert of the Indigo League Elite 4, Agatha.
"Mikyukyumi."
As Anthony and his Pokemons stared at the ID, the former suddenly remembered something: All identification documents can be confirmed by shooting at it with any non-attacking moves of any type of Pokemons. Thinking that they have no time to waste, Anthony immediately looked at Zubat.
"Zubat, use Supersonic on the ID."
Zubat did as it was told, and when it glowed a silver color, the one used for Flying types, Anthony nodded at it as if confirming its authenticity. He then asked Mimikyu.
"What did Ma'am Agatha want us to do?"
Anthony, who, of course, knew that the Elite 4 had been contacted by his mom, that has made conjectures on some matters that had happened recently, asked immediately while also making some conjectures himself as he waited for the Mimikyu to once again pull something out of its cloth.
_Has the first sighting of Team Rocket's operation already started? Then, Viridian City's ground-type gym is already closed, and it can be inferred that, despite the distance of the Moon Cave and Viridian City, these are related. No, in the game, the way events transpired is based on progression, meaning without WTW, no one can know Mt. Moon was overrun by Team Rocket before Viridian City Gym Leader Giovanni went missing, or the other way around..._
_That means the events may have happened very far away from each other or very near each other... Meaning these two events can also have happened at the same time..._
Anthony's eyes suddenly froze, suddenly regretting the fact that he's not very attentive to the news, plus the timeline is not very important in Fire Red.
_This world works like my previous one, so let's say x event happened after y event in a z span... why did the League not make the security in the Pokémon Research Lab of the Kanto Region tighter? Viridian is nearest to Pallet. If they knew that the gym leader in Viridian is the leader of Team Rocket, they would know that Pallet would be susceptible to their clutches..._
Anthony has a grim guess: Does The League know that these two events are connected?
Anthony didn't delve into the meaning of his deductions. In this world, he is just a child, and those that he thought of are adult worries; he has to get out of the medical unit of the lab, which is somehow needed to have an Elite 4 to rescue a child.
In this regard, the whole unit might have been overrun by the grunts, with one or two leaders in hiding for the big reveal.
_The Nurse Joys and interns looking out for their Pokemons should be fine as I am their main target, though they may have been knocked out unconscious..._
After a while, Mimikyu is finally able to pull out a white paper that has a handwritten note on it.
"In order not to freak out the interns, I will not be entering the scene. Your mother should be coming for you. You have to remember these:
You're on the first floor of the clinic with one hall towards the exit, which means the grunts of Team Rocket will surely be able to surround you easily and have Pokemons that can counter your Pokemons. Don't force your partners to fight, and instead prioritize their safety. You can command Mimikyu in order to get out of there.
Second, there are a lot of Ghost-type Pokemons holding back the other Pokemons of Team Rocket Grunts outside as you read this, while some are rescuing the nurses and doctors inside the clinic, you have your Pokemons and Mimikyu to make sure that you will not be abducted before your mom causes a commotion and rescues you.
She said that she won't be able to bring out Charizard, but that doesn't mean she won't bring anyone to her team. If you can, rendezvous with the Gengar and the Banette you met earlier this day.
You shouldn't expect any more than 6 to 7 grunts that would go after you, but if you were swarmed, Mimikyu would be able to relay it to me, and I would make sure that every Pokémon in Oak's lab would come to your rescue.

Anthony was quite shocked, thinking whether Elite 4 Agatha is really that protective of children or just exaggerating to soothe his mind. However, he does have a lot of questions in his mind, like how all the alarm systems of the clinic didn't work. However, as Agatha has implied, this is not the time to be asking questions, nor is his stature as just a boy qualified to ask them.
_Oh man, this would be a headache for Prof. Oak..._
Anthony lampooned before letting Miltank and Mimikyu take the lead, while Zubat will be the one in charge of confusing the enemy that may appear in the rear. However, just when the 4 have just exited the room, they saw two dark-colored Pokemons that made them freeze in the spot.
One is a big dog that has a pair of horns as well as bones-like protrusions on its back that arch back inside its body. It has a rabid look, while its crimson red eyes seem to exude unreleased bloodlust. The other one is a cat-like Pokémon with pure black fur except for the yellow parts in its ears, legs, and forehead.
Umbreon and Houndoom, dark type Pokemons... infamous for being the weakness of Ghost types, are now in front of Anthony, who has just realized that something has gone really, really wrong in the security of this medical unit. Of course, this daze of their target is not something that the two Pokemons will politely let pass, they immediately opened their mouths and blasted Dark Pulse moves.
"Mikyuuu!"
Mimikyu immediately jumped forward, faster than Miltank or Zubat. Mimikyus are known to be devoted, and because of this, it suppressed the ability Disguise that would let moves pass through it in the first strike and used its body to shield the frozen Anthony, absorbing the brunt of the damage, causing it to blast through the chest of Anthony and push him back to the room he was in.
Anthony coughed a few times before again having another question in his mind.

Hana sprinted as fast as possible to the medical unit of the laboratory with the Poké Ball of Kangaskhan in her hand. Before all of this, she knew that this place would be the place where the abduction would happen because other than the cleaning and security staff, the people here are the only ones not required to publish a research paper and Team Rocket is a mafia organization and obviously is unable to produce sleeper agents that's on the caliber of someone that's a co-author of Samuel Oak, one of the Pokemon professors.
These products would rather be inside Team Rocket's own lab.
Just as Hana was thinking of that and arrived at the medical unit, she suddenly saw a scene that even she, with all her experience, froze for a moment. In front of her are dark types by the 3s ganging up against Ghost types of Elite 4 Agatha, making Hana have the same question as her son.
However, she immediately went out of her trance and threw her Poké Ball just when several Dark type Pokemons that are free pounced towards her. They numbered about 5 as they let the 3v1 situations become 2v1 to stop Hana.
"PLOW THROUGH THEM!"
Mama and Baby Kangaskhan's hands immediately glowed white as they lunged towards the opponent.
