The day flew pretty fast, and with plans moving in the right direction, Gloria focused herself on preparing for her departure, while also accompanying her stepchildren who were very unwilling to see her leave even if it was just for a few days.
"It's not like I am not going to come back. I just need to deal with a few things over there and return," she could only coax the children and it took a while for them to accept this.
In the end, Gloria not only had she had to watch some animation movies with the two but also tuck them in bed and told them their current favorite stories. The children we reproving to be difficult to send to sleep, so she had to resort to using her abilities, thanks to the mentorship of her dear lovely new mother.
Watching them sleeping deeply, she finally left for the master bedroom where a busy Xander was waiting for her.
