Chapter 241 - Going Back

As the wedding reached its climax, the various entertainment performances wound down, and the guests began to depart one after another. "Thank you all for coming to attend my and Emily's wedding today, and for resolving the crisis. Please accept my respect!" Kaia bowed deeply to us.

"Don't be so formal, stand up," I said, helping him up.

"If there's an opportunity in the future, we will come back to visit everyone again. Wishing you both a happy marriage and long-lasting joy~" After taking our leave from Kaia, the others, and Badi, my wives and I returned to Eden.

"We're finally back home, everyone." I let out a long breath of relief.

"Now, we need to discuss a certain someone's mistake," Enis turned around with a somber expression.

"It was my fault! It has nothing to do with the kids. Please don't punish them—I'll go sleep on the floor tonight," I apologized decisively.

"Sigh, perhaps it's not that big of a deal, but Planet Dodado's timeline is bound to be altered now," Suōshā said, shaking her head.

"I am well aware. Kaia and Emily have already become gods, and humanity has witnessed our overwhelming power. From now on, no enemy will dare to entertain thoughts against Tielaisheng, and Kaia's children will naturally enjoy smooth sailing without encountering formidable foes. All of this was brought about by our interference," I analyzed gravely.

"Master, I'm hungry~ Master, I'm hungry~" The little girls off to the side began clinging to me again.

"Let's go back inside to find something to eat." Enis didn't blame me any further and led the little girls into the house.

"Hubby, are you really going to sleep on the floor?" Suōshā leaned in and asked.

"Since I was the one who caused the trouble, accepting a little punishment makes me feel better," I smiled helplessly.

A "Punishment" Cut Short

That night, as agreed, I settled down on the carpet in the living room to rest. Rather than punishing myself, it was more like giving myself a long-overdue break. A night without having to exert myself was just too comfortable! This really was slacking off under the guise of punishment—I was thoroughly enjoying my solitude.

Just then, I heard slow footsteps approaching. Startled, I quickly feigned sleep. "Hubby seems to have fallen asleep," Zi Mi whispered softly.

"Then let us keep Hubby company and sleep here~" Enis smiled and lay down beside me, while Suōshā and Zi Mi also lay down to cuddle up to me. Damn it, how could I let my wives sleep on the floor with me?

"Sorry, I haven't slept yet..." I quickly sat up to explain.

"Then Hubby, let's go back upstairs together, so you don't catch a cold~" Enis stroked my cheek and said.

"But I made a mistake, I should be punished..." I scrambled to make an excuse.

"An occasional mistake is quite cute too. I forgive you~" With that, the three women took my hands and led me upstairs. At this moment, my heart was crying tears of despair—couldn't I just get a break for once...?

Establishing the Rules

The next morning, "Time to get up and eat breakfast, Hubby~" Suōshā called in my ear. I opened my eyes groggily. Last night was another battle lasting over a dozen rounds, leaving me with hardly any sleep, sigh.

"Come on, put your clothes on." Suōshā skillfully helped me dress and button my pants, then brought over clear water to wipe my face. I finally regained some energy.

The two of us went downstairs to the dining room. The little girls were already having their meal. When Enis and Zi Mi saw me, they stepped forward warmly to greet me, as if yesterday's mistake had completely vanished into thin air.

"Let's set a rule from now on. As reincarnations of Demon Gods, asking you to never fight is probably something you can't hold back, but if you must act in the future, it must be strictly within the limits permitted by the four of us. Furthermore, despicable actions like mutilating corpses are absolutely forbidden, otherwise, the punishment will be fasting!" I laid down the rules at the dining table, and the little girls actually agreed to them.

"Just as Bai said, if you do act, you must suppress your energy to the absolute minimum limit, otherwise you might accidentally harm others," Suōshā joined in educating them.

"Alright, let's turn the page on yesterday's fault. Where are we going today, Hubby?" Enis asked while pouring water.

"Hmm... There's still some time before Bona's wedding. Let's go explore Suōshā's universe first," I decided with a smile.
