In Kingdom of Light {2 days after Queen Victoria's death}
We see Commander Vikram and General Albert standing on top of the Kingdom of Light's palace. As the wind blows, their hair sways in the air.
Both of them are angry and disappointed at the same time.
Albert says angrily,
"I wish... I wish I had gone with my King. Then he wouldn't have had to lose his mother... This is all my fault."
Vikram calmly says,
"This is not your fault. I think you forget that you hold the rank of General, the highest military rank. You were only following the King's orders, and your presence here is also important for future wars and battles.
Elves are already entering this kingdom day by day, and more than 10,000 elves have already arrived here. We have to train them in swordsmanship and archery because they rely too much on their spells.
Some know how to use swords and bows, but they only learned through self-training. They don't know how to defend themselves properly, and in archery, many elves don't even know how to aim correctly.
We have to train them with our soldiers, using our skills and our experience."
After hearing this, Albert calms down and says,
"Yes. I think you're right, Vikram."
Vikram says,
"Our presence is important here, but it's also true that our King needs an adviser to handle every situation. I don't think he can recover from his mother's death that easily."
Albert replies,
"Don't worry, Vikram. Radhagupta, my friend, is also there to support my King."
Vikram asks,
"Radhagupta, the current Prime Minister? I know he is your friend, but you personally requested that the King appoint Radhagupta as Prime Minister. Do you trust him that much?"
Albert smiles and replies,
"Radhagupta is my childhood friend. He isn't gifted with physical strength, which is why he couldn't be selected for the Kingdom Military. However, he scored at the top in political studies and financial studies."
Vikram asks,
"Then why didn't he take the Governor or Minister examination? If he had taken that exam, he could have been selected as one of the ministers."
Albert gives a disappointed smile and says,
"It's not that he didn't take the exam. He did take it and scored the highest, achieving first rank. But the problem is that, while there is no discrimination in the Kingdom Military, discrimination exists in politics and in the Governor and Minister examinations.
The examiners preferred nobles over commoners, and since the person holding second rank was a noble, the other ministers chose that noble instead."
Vikram laughs and says,
"Those nobles never disappoint me when it comes to giving me reasons to hate them."
Albert says,
"But why do you hate them? You're also a noble."
Vikram replies,
"Yes, I am a noble, but I don't like politics. That's why I decided to join the Kingdom Military.
And look at the power of time. The ministers rejected your friend because he was a commoner, but now that same commoner holds the rank of Prime Minister because of you."
Albert disagrees and says,
"No... no, you're wrong there. It's not like my King Ashoka appointed Radhagupta as Prime Minister simply because of my request. Before appointing him, he gave him a difficult test of his mind."
Vikram curiously asks,
"What kind of test?"
Albert replies,
"You want to know everything right now? Leave something for later, too. Besides, we still have to train those elves. Let's go."
Albert walks away.
Vikram follows him and says,
"Hey! You can't leave without telling me about that test."
{In the Kingdom of Ice}
We see the Princess of the Kingdom of Ice sitting beside her father's bed.
{Kingdom of Ice King Introduction:}
He is an old man, ten years older than King Rajendra, and his name is Himavat. He has mastered his Ice Magic to its fullest potential, but he has no son to inherit the throne.
However, he has one daughter named Marina. Marina also possesses Ice Magic but has not been able to master it completely.
Himavat is currently in his old age, and because of that, his body has become weak. His condition worsens day by day, and he can no longer leave his bed.
As a result, his daughter currently holds authority and manages the kingdom's political, financial, and economic affairs, though she is not very skilled in combat.
Himavat says to Marina,
"I heard about Ashoka from your mother. He has already conquered the Kingdom of Light, and my experience tells me that our kingdom will be his next target."
Marina replies,
"Yes, Father. I think so too. The King of the Kingdom of Time, Keiro, also said the same thing, and he said that he would send his kingdom's best strategist to help us."
Himavat says,
"It's my fault that I can't even stand and protect my own kingdom. Now we have to ask for help from another kingdom's strategist.
Our kingdom holds the 5th rank among the Ten Kingdoms because of its geography, yet we don't even have a capable strategist of our own."
Marina says,
"No, Father. It's not your fault. In fact, it's my fault that I still can't fully master my magical powers."
Himavat says,
"Marina, you have already done so much for this kingdom. I know you have no interest in governing a kingdom, but you still do all of this to protect its people and safeguard this land.
I can't forget that, although you act strict and cold on the outside because people believe you are strong, deep inside, you are still my little, sweet-hearted child who can't even kill a real person."
Marina says,
"Father, I think you've already talked enough. It's time for you to rest.
If you need anything, just call the maids or the soldiers. Two maids and two soldiers are standing outside the door."
After that, Marina leaves the room and goes to the palace rooftop.
Snow is falling.
Marina gazes at the falling snow and says,
"I wish... I had been born as a son instead of a daughter.
Ashoka... I don't know what you look like or why you started this war, but I can't lose this fight.
Even if I have to use that weapon to defeat you, I cannot give you my father's kingdom."
