They were still talking when Henrietta and Nyx arrived.
The door to the Empress's private chambers opened, and the two women stepped inside, their expressions carrying a mixture of relief and urgency. Henrietta offered the Empress a respectful bow before turning toward Lucas, while Nyx moved closer, her eyes bright with the news she had brought.
"Your Majesty, Xavier," Henrietta greeted them. "I believe we have arrived at an important moment."
The Empress looked between them. "What has happened?"
Nyx answered before Henrietta could speak, unable to conceal the satisfaction in her voice. "The kingdoms I visited have replied. The messages King Highmoor entrusted to me were received, and the rulers have agreed to stand with us. They have rallied their forces, and their armies will soon begin mobilizing toward our position."
