"Hubby wants to serve you," Mu Xingfeng said without waiting for a response, placing a spoonful of congee into the girl's mouth.
An Ran swallowed the congee, insistently taking the spoon and bowl, "I want to eat with you."
Mu Xingfeng had just returned from training and came to the hospital with her. She knew he didn't eat or sleep well during training, and she felt for him.
Mu Xingfeng didn't insist anymore, taking out chopsticks and rice, just watching the girl as he shoveled a couple of mouthfuls of plain rice into his mouth.
"Hubby, you should eat some meat, you've lost weight these days," An Ran picked up a piece of rib and placed it into Mu Xingfeng's lunch box, then picked up another piece for her bowl. But just as she opened her mouth, the meat was snatched away by the man.
"Didn't you say I've lost weight? I think I need to eat more meat."
An Ran watched the man eating with great relish, yet still elegantly, and pouted, "Hubby, you're mistreating a patient."
