Xia Xiaonuan looked up and saw a gun pointed at her. Her mind went blank.
Liang Shaochen, without a moment's hesitation, darted forward. As he was still some distance from Xiaonuan and too late to reach her, he had to use his entire body to shield her from the bullet.
Nangong Yaoling heard the sound and kicked the assassin in front of him, pulling Xiaonuan behind him by instinct.

The man kicked out his legs.
