Madam Rong glanced at the woman standing by, then said to Xia Qingqian, "Miss Xia, if you leave here, you must not speak of what happened today! You mustn't disclose what you've seen, not even to Young Master Yao, understood?"
Xia Qingqian was also a smart person, and upon hearing Madam Rong say this, she understood the situation.
Though she was curious about what was going on, her position did not allow her to act on it, so she could only nod and say, "Madam Rong, please rest assured, today's incident was my fault, I shouldn't have intruded. I am not even grateful enough for your help today; I will absolutely not reveal what happened!"
"Considering you have borne three children for Yao, I'll let it go this time!" The icy woman snorted, handing the child she was holding to Madam Rong. "Now get her out of here, make sure no one discovers the secret of this place!"
"Yes, Madam!" Madam Rong, who was usually very haughty, now bowed low like a servant in front of this lady.
