Silence.
Then
"RUN!!!"
The two screamed at the top of their lungs, immediately sprinting in opposite directions.
Their speed was insane.
If they had spatial abilities, they would have teleported away instantly.
But
Xiong Zhan didn't chase them.
Instead
He simply kept eating his honey.
Inside the cave, Yi Chen smirked.
"Perfect. Now that they've led him away, I can escape!"

He burst out of the cave, prepared to flee

He locked eyes with a certain burly, honey-covered man.

"My dear old father!" he blurted in panic.
Xiong Zhan snorted.
"I don't remember having such a dumb son."
With a casual flick of his wrist, his massive palm descended onto Yi Chen's head.
"BANG!"
There was no blood splatter.
No gore.
Just
Yi Chen collapsing like a ragdoll, completely knocked out cold.
Xiong Zhan yawned.

He slung Yi Chen over his shoulder and walked back to his hall.
Meanwhile
His two escaped bodyguards had just reached the energy barrier.
But just as they thought they were trapped…

They had no idea.
But they weren't going to stick around to find out.
