After understanding the situation he was in, one of the first things Dante had tried was smashing the walls around him. He didn't like the idea of following a path others laid out for him, so he attempted to make one of his own, only to fail. The walls of the imaginary hotel were indestructible. That was the conclusion he arrived at after using 4-3's powers on them and not seeing a single scratch.
With that being the case, he never expected to smash through several concrete slabs after being thrown by that dark-skinned woman. Catching the edge of one of the holes he was blasted through, Dante flipped into a crouching position and activated Force Amplification through his legs, launching himself back to where he came from.
"No, you won't!"
