Chapter 474 - 16 h

Klein's poor avatar saw Perran leave her divine kingdom.

Did she leave to deal with, I believe, Earth Mother?

Klein's avatar remained in the Tenebrous Heaven until Perran eventually returned. His avatar quickly hid his popcorn and glasses. She looked like she had traded blows without showing any physical indications.

Klein was going to say something but decided it was braver to wait until Perran said something.

After a bit, Perran spoke, "Do you mind being called my consort?"

She didn't sound nervous, but still . . .

"Ah, well, I mean I was shocked, but . . . I don't particularly hate it. I mean the word consort just seems to be suggesting-" Klein realized his mistake.

Perran immediately gave the feeling of extreme danger to Klein.

"I meant it just seemed to suggest that I was inferior." Klein blurted out any excuse he could find.

"Well, I guess you aren't wrong in that . . . Heh, well, do you have any other questions?" Perran was trying to change the current vibe.

"Today I spoke to the Seven Lights and learned about secret organizations, pathways, and more. My questions are related to a particular organization called Rose Redemption-" Perran cut off Klein.

"Rose Redemption is known to have been formed by the eight Kings of Angels and Gods led by Dark Angel Sasrir and me. That part is true. What the organization was known for was rebelling against the Ancient Sun God. I will explain 'His' history to you in a moment. The real goal wasn't rebelling, though; it was to deal with the awakening will of the Primordial God Almighty." That last part ended in a grave tone.

Perran and Klein both fell silent.

"Is there any danger of, or better, how bad is the danger. . .?" Perran wanted to confirm a possible issue.

"There are some, but I'm currently at an advantage. So long as I keep up my acting and don't do anything stupid that could get me corrupted or in danger of losing control, I won't lose that advantage. Eventually though, since I have subconsciously agreed to become Lord of Mysteries, well . . ." Klein went into a somber tone the more he spoke.

"Your acting will serve as a barrier, no? Then you can try to force a balance?" Perran began to use her powers to soothe him. 'She' was very glad that the danger wasn't too bad yet and could be managed.

"I can hope . . . " Klein felt calmer. "I also have questions about the Ancient Sun God; can you tell me now? If not, can you tell me your sources for the remaining Sequence 1 characteristics and Fool Uniqueness?"

"First, let me answer your second question; it will take less time. For a Sequence 1 characteristic and Uniqueness in my concealed world, Antigonus lies. The other Sequence 1 characteristic is from Zaratul. 'He' has lost control in the Physical Realm, which is good because that is where the Sequence 1 characteristic is. I still need to find it, though; if you have the Seven Lights searching, they will likely run into the same issues as I. The issue stems from the fact that there is an inherent mystery tied to Attendants of Mystery."

"Perran, do you know or suspect that Adam could be the Ancient Sun God?" Klein had remembered what he had theorized with the Seven Lights and asked Perran about her opinion.

"Virtual Personas . . ." Perran immediately made the connections. "I had suspicions; the issue is I wasn't certain. Anyway, this is a good lead into my knowledge of the Ancient Sun God.

Klein got ready for a long discussion.

"The Ancient Sun God's true name is Grisha Adam. 'His' last name is where Adam got 'His' name. From what I know, 'He' fell into the Chaos Sea as a researcher in a research institute in Chernobyl. The research institute was apparently very close in proximity to the Chaos Sea."

"Chernobyl, isn't that-" Klein had some suspicions after hearing Chernobyl.

"I also asked, but 'He' never did answer." It was obvious that Perran was contemplating it even now.

"'He awoke' in what is known as the Early Era of Fire. At the time of 'His' awakening, 'He' wasn't strong enough to fight two Ancient Gods. So 'He' bided 'His' time with Sanguine Ancestor Lilith and my help. Two things: Lilith isn't 'Her' original name; it is Clair Adrielle. The second is 'He' hid for hundreds of years to build 'His' strength."

"Early Era of Fire. . . Her name is Clair Adrielle. . ." Klein was rather interested in this since learning history digested his Scholar of Yore potion.

"When 'He' awoke, 'He' made it rather dramatic. I quote: 'He' said, "Let there be light" and then there was light since the sun had gone dark; actually it was destroyed when the Original Creator woke up. Anyway, I have to say 'He' had a strong religious background and was a serious Jesus wannabe. I kid you not." Perran emphasized the last parts of Grisha Adam being a wannabe Jesus.

Klein struggled to contain his snickering and began engaging in a discussion of how bad Grisha Adam's Jesus persona was.

"Even Roselle wasn't this bad; all he did was pretend to be Caesar. Roselle the Caesar wannabe. Though he did die like Caesar," Klein joked.

Perran almost doubled over in laughter, contemplating how Grisha died just like Jesus.

I can't wait to tell Klein that Grisha died the same way.

After bullying Roselle's legacy for a time, they then switched to bullying Grisha's wannabe Jesus legacy.

"I'm serious, 'He' based everything on Jesus," Perran remarked. "'He' actually proclaimed himself the new reincarnation of Jesus."

Perran made several more remarks, and Klein was just on the ground laughing; Perran suspected that if he was still human, he would be dying.

"Heh heh, well anyway back on topic. When 'He' emerged from Chernobyl, 'He' was a true god, with the Uniquenesses and three Sequence 1 Characteristics of both the Sun Pathway and Hanged Man Pathway. 'He' also possessed the First Blasphemy Slate, the control over the Chaos Sea, and the Error Uniqueness." Perran was still internally laughing at the memories of Grisha being a Jesus wannabe, and it was obvious.

"Did the Error Uniqueness not make him mad?" Klein realized an issue with Grisha Adam's characteristics.

"No, there was a special situation behind it."

"Anyway to speed up the conversation, 'He' created Dark Angel Sasrir to stop the resurrection of Primordial God Almighty. Near the end of the Early Era of Fire, Lilith, Kvastir, and Fleagra died. Lilith was a fake death; in reality, 'Her' fate was exchanged with Ombella. I also got the characteristics necessary to advance to Sequence 0 Darkness from Fleagra's corpse."

In the Dual Era, Grisha manipulated the First Blasphemy Slate to be partially revealed. In the Era of Tranquility, Aurmir sought out a secret organization that worshipped Grisha. Finally, in the Dawn Era, Grisha waged a full war on the Ancient Gods. 'He' killed Elf King Soniathrym and Dragon of Imagination Ankewelt. 'He' then almost killed Giant King Aurmir and Phoenix Ancestor Gregace. Aurmir managed to pass 'His' power to 'His' son Badheil, and Gregace fragmented over the Southern Continent. Devil Monarch Farbauti had to sacrifice many demons and 'His' own power, likely the Wheel of Fortune Uniqueness, to seal the Abyss from Grisha.

To further combat the awakening will of Primordial God Almighty, Grisha had children, Adam and Amon. Adam inherited the Visionary Uniqueness, and Grisha replaced 'His' with an Envisioned one. Amon was created thanks to Lilith through catalyzing the Error Uniqueness. This should have made Amon far more powerful than any King of Angels, but Grisha placed seals on 'Him'."

"Two questions: do you know Farbauti's current situation? I heard from the Seven Lights that his current situation is with Lilith." Klein was going to ask his second question, but Perran immediately responded.

"I had decided to respect 'Her' boundaries, but after what 'She' did, I'll figure out the situation." Perran was clearly ready to be vengeful.

Well, that confirms it was Lilith.

"My second question is, can Amon remove the restrictions?" This would either make Klein very happy, or very sad.

"'He' can't remove the restrictions." Perran smiled.

"Oh, praise whatever is above us." Klein sighed in relief.

"Continuing into the Third Epoch, Grisha gained eight Kings of Angels under "Him": Dark Angel Sasrir, Angel of Imagination Adam, Angel of Time Amon, Wisdom Angel Herabergen, Wind Angel Leodero, White Angel Aucuses, Angel of Fate Ouroboros, War Angel Medici. It was in this era that humanity became the dominant race.

It was also this era that I, Badheil, and Lilith rebelled against Grisha."

"Why did you rebel?" Klein was curious since they, or at least Lilith and Perran, seemed to be on good terms with Grisha.

"It was an act. By the time Grisha's faction was going to supposedly win, 'He' began to have problems with the revival of the Primordial God Almighty inside 'Himself'.

To try and counterbalance this, Grisha wanted to create a weakened Celestial Worthy through Bethel Abraham, not Amon, due to Amon being an activated Uniqueness.

It was also this era that Black Emperor Solomon appeared."

After seeing that Klein didn't have any questions, Perran prepared to talk about the history of Rose Redemption.

"This part deals with why Grisha allowed Rose Redemption to begin. Grisha allowed Sasrir, 'His' other persona, to create Rose Redemption to assassinate 'Him' to prevent the resurrection of Primordial God Almighty.

Grisha definitely had a plan for how the assassination was supposed to go, but it went terribly wrong for 'Him'.

Sasrir went into the Giant King's Court, and his consciousness returned to Grisha. During this time, Rose Redemption besieged Grisha and won. Grisha died at what is currently known as the Sea of Ruins. However, Leodero, Herabergen, and Aucuses betrayed the plan and feasted on Grisha's remains."

"Be a Jesus wannabe, be betrayed like a Jesus wannabe. I wonder why they did it, greed like Judas? Also died like the wannabe he was, just like Roselle." Klein couldn't help but make snide remarks about this Jesus wannabe.Perran was seriously struggling to maintain her composure.

I seriously just want to laugh, but I need to maintain composure.

"You're not wrong; it was the Law of Beyonder Convergence and the Primordial God Almighty. You know what, I'm going to shorten it to PGA and Celestial Worthy can go down to CW." Perran put a rather lot of vitriol behind the last name.

I wonder how long she has said the full names before deciding to go "f**k it, I'm not saying these ridiculously long names"? Klein chuckled internally.

Perran guessed what he was thinking.

"What would you do the same after some couple thousand years?" Perran turned 'Her' head in irritation.

"I'm just surprised it took you a couple thousand years." Klein teased.

Perran got up to chase Klein, "You!"

"Ahh!" Klein ran while Perran chased him.

After a moment of humanizing fun, they returned to the discussion.

"Well, where was I?" Perran had regained her composure.

"Grisha's disciples betraying him for some characteristics instead of silver." Klein seriously replied.

"Hmph," Perran couldn't help but give a chuckle. "Anyway, they became Lord of Storms, God of Knowledge and Wisdom, and Eternal Blazing Sun."

"They betrayed 'Him' to become closer to god." Klein revised.

"Not wrong." Perran conceded. "Anyway, because of the betrayal, 'He' could only rush to fuse with 'His' extreme emotions before dying, and be reborn within the corpse. This led to the creation of the True Creator and also why 'He' is a mad god. I have also concluded that Sasrir had become an evil spirit due to the lingering obsession "He" had, as well as Chaos Sea's powers, which were brought about by the First Blasphemy Slate.

The aftermath was the Sea of Ruins and the separation of the Eastern Continent. This led to the Forsaken Land of the Gods. The Second Blasphemy Slate was created from Grisha's remains taken away by Adam." Perran finished.

Klein felt his Scholar of Yore potion break down completely and be absorbed.

"That was a great history lesson. My Scholar of Yore potion was digested." Klein felt a serenity wash over him that wasn't from Perran.

"Yes, if I recall, Scholar of Yore's acting is learning history and creating conclusions from it; you did that mainly with the reveal of the truth of this world. You only needed more history to fully finish it off." Perran was happy for Klein and showed it in 'Her' tone.

Klein nodded and decided to pose a request he still needed to ask Perran about. "Perran, could you do me a small favor?"

"What favor?" Perran was sitting on 'Her' knees, tending to 'Her' flowers she had damaged in 'Her' rage at Lilith.

"I would like you to comfort my sister and tell 'Her' that I'm in no danger from your husband, the Fool." Klein wanted to elevate his status from a consort to more.

Consort suggests I'm dependent. If I'm going to be in that situation… I might as well make myself more impressive, even if it's just semantics.

Perran smirked at Klein's emphasis, "Of course." Perran drew it out suspiciously long.

"You're not going to do anything funny, are you?" Klein asked, full of concern and quickly arriving worry.

The Evernight Goddess simply turned 'Her' head away and smiled with what could be called malicious glee without actually being malicious.

Oh dear, what have I done?!

Klein quickly retrieved his avatar/marionette and sent it above Sefirah Castle.

He used his Spirit Vision to keep an eye on Melissa. Klein additionally performed several divinations to see whether what Perran planned would harm Melissa.

I've received a negative... Well then again, why would she? Also, she is a true deity; she can likely resist my divinations. Though judging from how my divinations did something, she is allowing me to divine… Maybe …

Klein confirmed that whatever Perran planned on doing wasn't harmful to him or anyone he cared about: Melissa and Benson.

Maybe she planned on doing a prank? Some people do get malicious looks when they get to play a prank. . . In the end, the prank isn't necessarily dangerous, just quite humiliating. . . Oh no; surely she won't expose me?

Klein quickly performed a divination and received a negative, which only worried Klein even more.

The Seven Lights in the Sefirah Castle.

They were building the great library filled with knowledge they had gained over several thousands of years.

The Lights were contemplating whether Klein would open up the library to others; they had learned from Pallez that Klein hosted a secret organization. They deeply desired that this organization could use their library and would be greatly assisted by and guided by it.

They had created the library to be broken into ten sections, one for each sequence. There would then be four major breakups. The first section would be Sequence 5 and lower, which would be the current unrestricted section. The second is Sequence 4 to 3, where you must be at least a Sequence 4 to enter, unless given permission. The third is Sequence 2 to 1, where you must be a Sequence 2 to enter without dying or being corrupted by the information. Being in Sefirah Castle, of course, would protect the person if they were lower than Sequence 2, but the moment they left . . . The final section was Sequence 0 and above. This was the section that contained information that even Angels and Archangels either couldn't read without danger, or contained knowledge that Klein didn't want known.

They theorized that the first level would be changed slightly, though by Klein. For information that didn't cleanly fit into Sequences, they went by the four levels. They also figured out a librarian for the overall library and each of the four levels. For the head librarian, it would be Hilarion, but he was being temporarily replaced since he had an identity in the real world. So for now it was handed to Kuthumi. For each of the levels, starting from one, it would be: Saint Germain, Iesus, Venithan, and finally Aiur Moria.

While creating the library, Iesus left to complete the missions Klein had issued. He left finding Adam for last since he couldn't easily find 'Him'. To deal with this, he sent out his intention (saying relevant information while saying several names that would gain Adam's attention), intending to bait 'Him' out. While doing that, he went to Trier and entered the major cathedrals of the God of Steam and Machinery and Eternal Blazing Sun. He got the attention of the guardian angels and informed them.

Viève and Bornova Gustav met Iesus.

"Hello, great Iesus, why do you come here?" Bornova was very cautious since what Iesus is doing isn't normal.

"I've come to give a warning you may or may not know. This is done by the behest of my Great Lord." Iesus looked at them, expecting them to bow in reverence.

"Great Lord?" Both Viève and Bornova gave shocked looks.

They were both thinking along the lines of who could be referred to as the Great Lord by the Seven Lights? If one Seven Light was calling a hidden power Great Lord, then all Seven Lights consider this hidden power Great Lord.

Viève and Bornova remembered something and quickly realized who the Great Lord could be: the Fool!

Before Viève and Bornova could speak, Iesus gave his warning.

"The warning is that most of Trier has been replaced by the Mirror People; do what you wish with that information, if you already know . . ." Iesus shrugged. Then he left.

Viève and Bornova just looked at each other and were beginning to enter a discussion.

When Iesus was about to go back into the Spirit World, he noticed a request... it was from Angel of Imagination Adam.

"Hello-" Iesus tried to be polite.

"Why do you need me?" Adam spoke bluntly.

"To give you a warning-" Iesus again tried to be polite.

"Give it and leave." Adam looked at Iesus.

Iesus was rather annoyed, "Either back the Great Lord or have your secret revealed."

"Noted, you may leave." Adam had already vanished.

"Could stand to be more polite," Iesus muttered. "Strange, I should be acting more politely and not as irritated. . ." Iesus began pondering whether Adam was trying to do something.

When Iesus returned to Sefirah Castle, he felt something happen in his psyche. He decided to wait to ask the other Seven Lights. Currently, the Seven Lights began scouring for information on the secret organizations Klein had noted. They also sent out warnings that no spirit world creature was to aid them; otherwise they would suffer their wrath. Iesus also began talking to the Seven Lights about his experience with Adam once they were finished.

Pallez at Leonard's home.

Currently, Pallez was contemplating 'His' plan on how to deal with the Naturism Sect effectively. Once 'He' dealt with that, 'He' would begin to attack the other secret organizations: Rose School of Thought, Demoness Sect, Mirror people, Aurora Order, and Secret Order.

The Naturism Sect seems to be very weak; it is only a branch of the Rose School of Thought's Indulgence faction. It seems to lack even a Sequence 7. I can probably kill them all with just my Sequence 9 and 8 avatars. Rose School of Thought, Demoness Sect, Mirror people, Aurora Order, and Secret Order, however. . .

I will need to create targeted attacks; Secret Order, though I could request backup from the Church of Evernight since it was an order from the Evernight Goddess.

Rose School of Thought: I could try to get help from the Temperance faction. It also seemed from the Seven Lights Reinette Tinekerr is alive, just severely weakened. I should ask them where 'She' is since they noted 'She' resurrected as a spirit world creature.

Demoness Sect: I should parasite a member; conveniently, I've learned of a member.

Mirror People: I'll try to find a Mirror Person in Trier and parasite the Mirror Person. I have an unfortunate feeling that there will be issues, though.

Aurora Order: There is that one person, Klein, and I noticed. I can turn that into a bigger lead.

I should also consider how to get Leonard more powerful so I can utilize my Sequence 2 avatar.

"Punk!" Pallezz insulted Leonard to rapidly gain Leonard's attention.

"What, Old Man?" Leonard immediately responded.

"It's time you got more powerful. You've already acted Midnight Poet fully; send a request for advancement to Nightmare."

"Huh? Oh yes, Old Man." Leonard was caught off guard.

Leonard had always thought, as a chosen one, blessed by fate, or perhaps the protagonist of this era, that he had all the time in the world before his worldview was shattered. This led Leonard to desperately want to catch up and become more. So when Pallez told Leonard to send a request for advancement, Leonard got the push needed to agree.

Before going to attack, Pallez was going to wait for more information from the Seven Lights.

In Melissa's dream.

Perran, through a rather complicated process, managed to personally enter Melissa's dream. 'She' took great care of 'Her' appearance. 'She' changed from 'Her' normal dress, a layered black classical dress that isn't overly complex, with a few accessories, to a similar but more motherly and friendly look.

Melissa was dreaming about being in a workshop with Bornova creating a wonderful machine.

Ah, she's in love. Anyway, time to enact my plan or plans.

"Hello Melissa Moretti." Perran purposefully spoke in a grand and divine tone. 'She' also granted Melissa a blessing to allow her to speak consciously in her dreams.

The blessing was the same as Klein's. This blessing served two purposes: to give Melissa the ability to be aware in her dreams and counterbalance Stiano's blessing.

While Melissa wasn't even a Beyonder, she could without a doubt tell that this was the Evernight Goddess. She instantly hit the floor and bowed to Amanises.

"Hello, my Lady." Melissa's voice was going to shake, but Amanises put a stop to that by soothing her.

"There is no need to do that, Melissa. Please tell me of your worries." Amanises spoke purposely in a motherly tone.

Without fail, Melissa spoke her worries for Klein, "I'm afraid for my brother serving your consort, I mean-" Melissa stammered excuses.

Perran hid 'Her' amusement and slight embarrassment, "I promise my husband is not evil; in fact, to prove that, why not ask your brother to let you into the divine councils my husband holds?"

This was the mischievous prank Perran intended. Now it was to see whether Melissa would take the bait.

Can I do that?" Melissa asked with eagerness. Unlike with Klein, Melissa felt she could, without a doubt, trust the Evernight Goddess when 'She' says 'Her' husband or the Fool wasn't evil.

"Of course, my young daughter." Perran hid 'Her' glee. Now I just need her-

"Are you in the divine councils?" Melissa, without fail, did what Perran wanted.

"My husband has been arranging matters, so I've not been in the meetings yet. Could you, when you gain approval to enter, ask when my husband intends to let me join?" Perran was thinking about 'Her' plan almost reaching fruition.

While Melissa wasn't sure why the Fool didn't let 'His' wife in, nonetheless she said, "If I do get in, I will without a doubt do as you ask."

"Thank you, my beloved daughter." Perran was celebrating; 'Her' plan was basically guaranteed to succeed.

Melissa hadn't questioned why the Evernight Goddess seemed to be calling her 'Her' daughter since it was in the bible that the deities view all of their believers as their children. On the topic of faith, though, Melissa felt that she needed to pose a question.

"My Lady, I mean-" Melissa thought she made a mistake in what to call the Evernight Goddess.

"Simply call me mother." This was another part of Perran's plan that Perran intended to do.

While Melissa wasn't confused about being called daughter, this caused some confusion.

Mother? Isn't that a bit too far? I'm only a believer, no? Wait, I'm blessed of the God of Steam and Machinery; that must place importance on me! Wait no! Melissa, you shouldn't have such sinful, prideful thoughts!

Seeing Melissa not saying mother, Perran took action, "Daughter?"

Melissa shot up and, in her opinion, rashly spoke, "Mother, I have a question!"

"Of course, what is your question?" Perran took measures to ensure Melissa calmed down.

"Will I be punished, or is it- should I accept a position in the Church of Steam and Machinery?" Faith issues, even for Melissa, especially so since learning about Beyonders and similar, can be quite stressful.

"Of course not; you were born as my daughter; of course I will not forget that even if you change. What you are doing is only taking a better path; how could I blame you for that?" Perran continued to calm Melissa and build a certain image in Melissa's mind.

This calmed Melissa, and she thanked the Evernight Goddess, "Thank you, my-"

"Mother," Perran corrected.

Melissa hastily corrected, "Mother, thank you."

Before leaving, Perran spoke to Melissa a bit more to ease Melissa into being fine with calling 'Her ' mother. Leaving 'She' personally crafted a beautiful dream for Melissa.

West Borough. Iron Cross Street, Lower Street.

Tris met his mentor and gained the Sequence 7 formula and three main ingredients for the Demoness pathway.

It was after looking at the formula that he looked at the name of the Sequence; it was Witch!

When Tris exclaimed the name and began questioning it in his thoughts, the mentor laughed and asked, "Weren't you always curious? Curious about why our upper echelons are all female…"

"That is the answer." Tris's mentor smiled widely.

Meanwhile, an avatar of Pallez was watching.

Klein, whose main body was in the Physical World, went back into Sefirah Castle to answer Miss Justice's prayer. He sent, "I'm aware." He had conveniently missed Perran entering Melissa's dream completely.

Audrey jolted awake and realized Mr. Fool had responded. Then she began planning for her future: digesting Spectator, looking for the Psychology Alchemists, and looking for the Telepathist potion formula.

While in Sefirah Castle, Klein was thinking about how to use Sefirah Castle more before chancing upon Alger's prayer. He decided to wait for a bit, listening and looking at what Mr. Hanged Man was doing.

Since Mr. Fool hadn't responded immediately, Alger thought it had failed. He was overjoyed, though slightly disappointed.

While leaving, Klein sent a response, "I'm aware."

This caused an extreme reaction from Alger, who hit the floor; eventually he restored his composure.

Just as Klein was going to leave, the Seven Lights knocked on the door separating the library and the meeting hall of the Tarot Club.

Hmm? What now? Why are they bothering me- Oh, they have likely completed their tasks. Can't be disappointed that they are good servants.
