Chapter 412: Instant Travel Through a Higher Dimension
Hishiki, who had gone back on his word, continued to bombard Uchiha Dali relentlessly, determined to kill this powerful man.
He had no idea that he'd already fallen into a trap.
If he kept attacking like this, he'd eventually exhaust himself to death.
Fortunately, Hishiki wasn't a complete fool.
After more than an hour of continuous attacks, he finally stopped.
By now, the area where Uchiha Dali had been standing had turned into a massive black hole zone spanning roughly three to four hundred thousand square meters.
It was the result of Hishiki's bombardment — the collapse of space itself.
"Disappeared?"
He scanned the black hole area with his sensory powers — not just the center, but the surrounding regions as well.
The first sweep revealed nothing.
Unconvinced, he scanned several more times, carefully and meticulously, yet still found no trace of Uchiha Dali.
Only then did Hishiki finally conclude that his opponent had most likely been killed. A cold smirk crept onto his face.
"So that's all he amounted to. A pity I wasted so much energy…"
To be safe, he raised his hand and placed a divine seal over the black hole zone.
Then he quickly scanned again.
Within the limits of his perception, there truly was no sign of Uchiha Dali's presence.
If that man wasn't deliberately hiding from him, there could only be one explanation.
"Under that kind of assault, there's absolutely no way he could've escaped. He must be dead."
Hishiki convinced himself of it.
Then he immediately activated ultra-space communication to report to the King of the Ōtsutsuki Clan.
"Your Majesty, the enemy has been eliminated."
He did this partly to report his success, but also because the King could confirm the result.
After all, the King's power was vastly beyond his own.
If Uchiha Dali were still alive, the King would know.
…
Meanwhile, Uchiha Dali was staring around in bewilderment.
This place looked… remarkably similar to the Ninja World — blue skies, white clouds, green mountains and rivers, lush grass everywhere.
But he was puzzled.
"I was fighting that Hishiki guy… so how did I suddenly end up here?"
Using Observation Haki to sense his surroundings, Dali realized that this was a completely unfamiliar world.
This planet was huge — so vast that, compared to the Ninja World, it was countless times larger. Even his formidable perception could barely reach its borders, unable to extend into outer space.
There were only two possible explanations for this.
The first: his strength had been severely weakened.
The second: this world was unimaginably vast.
Before arriving here, his Observation Haki could sense across dozens of light-years.
"Hishiki's attack tore open space, creating that black hole — I must've been swallowed by it."
"In other words, his power somehow sent me to this time-space."
"So then… what is this place?"
Uchiha Dali's mind raced.
Because right now, within the range of his perception, he could sense countless overwhelmingly powerful presences.
Many of them were no weaker than he was.
More importantly, their energy was distinctly different from chakra.
That meant this wasn't just another region of the Ninja World — it might not even belong to the same dimension.
"I'll go find someone to ask."
With that thought, Dali decisively flew toward the nearest powerful presence.
But before he could get close, a figure suddenly appeared before him, blocking his path.
The man had appeared out of nowhere — Dali hadn't sensed him at all.
That could only mean one thing: this person's power surpassed his own. Otherwise, it was impossible for his Observation Haki to miss him.
"There's another powerhouse here… someone beyond my perception range?"
"What the hell is this place?"
Startled, Uchiha Dali halted and studied the stranger curiously.
"Uchiha Dali, what are you doing here?"
The man spoke his name outright.
"You… know me?" Dali asked in surprise.
"I am a dimensional administrator. This isn't a place you should be. Your strength is far too weak! Return to your proper dimension — go back!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the man raised his hand.
Before Dali could react, a gentle force enveloped him.
In an instant, he was hurled backward.
For the briefest moment, Dali experienced the surreal sensation of passing through countless layers of time and space.
Then, with a blink, he found himself once again in the pitch-black void — the very place where he had been fighting Hishiki moments ago.
"So that strange place just now… was a higher dimension? I wonder if Ōtsutsuki Shibai is there too."
Still reeling from the experience, Dali was filled with curiosity about that other dimension.
Meanwhile, just as Hishiki was about to leave and report back, his expression suddenly froze.
He had been in the middle of speaking to the Ōtsutsuki King, hoping to confirm Dali's death. But now… there was no need.
On the communication screen, the King's cold voice rang out:
"You were careless, Hishiki."
"He's not dead."
"My apologies, Your Majesty. I was careless."
"I'll finish him off completely this time."
Closing the communication, Hishiki turned toward Uchiha Dali, his gaze filled with murderous intent.
"Oh? Did I interrupt your report? Embarrassed yourself, huh?"
Uchiha Dali smiled lightly, waving at him — a gesture that was pure provocation.
Hishiki snorted coldly. "How did you survive my attack?"
"That's a question you should be asking yourself, isn't it?"
"So maybe your so-called power isn't as impressive as you thought."
Uchiha Dali grinned.
"Fine. Then I'll end this once and for all!"
Hishiki didn't waste another word and attacked again.
But this time, Uchiha Dali wasn't about to hold back either.
He still remembered what that so-called dimensional administrator had said —
That he was too weak to enter that dimension.
That had stung.
And now, Uchiha Dali was desperate to grow stronger.
He had to see for himself — what kind of place that higher dimension really was!
