Chapter 385: Meeting Again, Fighting Again
Hearing Kyōshiki's words, Àoshiki's eyes instantly darkened, and anger surged within him.
Because the other was right—his true intentions had been exposed.
"So, you two came all the way here just to stop me?"
Àoshiki asked coldly.
Uchiha Dali slowly floated toward him. "If we don't deal with you, we won't be able to sleep easy."
"Hmph… same here."
Àoshiki looked at him.
It was precisely to obtain greater power—to help himself grow much stronger in the shortest possible time—that he had come here to take a chance.
Absorbing chakra fruit was too slow for him; it couldn't meet his goal of defeating Uchiha Dali and Ōtsutsuki Kyōshiki.
"In that case, let's fight again."
The moment Uchiha Dali finished speaking, he attacked Àoshiki.
The latter didn't hesitate either and immediately responded. The two of them split into hundreds of clones almost at the same moment.
Each clone possessed the exact same power as its original.
As they appeared, the atmosphere in the meteor belt grew heavier than ever.
By now, Àoshiki couldn't be bothered with his younger brother Kyōshiki—he didn't even ask whether Kyōshiki intended to stay out of it.
With just one glance at him, Àoshiki also struck at Kyōshiki.
"It seems you still haven't learned your lesson from last time… Àoshiki."
Seeing Àoshiki attack without holding back, Kyōshiki let out a sinister laugh, then immediately created dozens of his own clones.
With just a few exchanged words, the three sides plunged into an all-out battle.
However, even one of Uchiha Dali's clones alone could rival Àoshiki.
With Kyōshiki added to the mix, the combined power of the two far surpassed Àoshiki's.
Even without directly comparing blows, simply looking at the number of clones showed Àoshiki was already at a disadvantage.
Knowing full well he was weaker, did Àoshiki really plan to suffer this loss?
Of course not.
He was far too cunning for that.
After creating more than a hundred clones, his true body had already started retreating rapidly.
Clearly, just like last time, Àoshiki intended to sacrifice his clones to cover his escape.
But Uchiha Dali had been expecting this.
His real body had never taken its eyes off Àoshiki. The moment Àoshiki tried to slip away, Dali used Body Flicker and appeared right in front of him.
"This time, you're not getting away—don't even think about it!"
He attacked decisively to block Àoshiki's path.
Meanwhile, Kyōshiki seized the perfect opportunity—he and his clones joined forces with Uchiha Dali's hundreds of clones to hunt down Àoshiki's duplicates.
He wanted to claim all of their energy for himself.
This was a rare chance.
"If I can absorb them all, even if I don't advance to a new level, my strength will still increase tremendously!"
Kyōshiki thought excitedly, glancing toward Uchiha Dali.
At that moment, Dali's real body was locked in fierce combat with Àoshiki's, the two appearing evenly matched.
Seeing that Dali couldn't spare any attention to what was happening on the other side, Kyōshiki grew even more delighted.
He began ruthlessly hunting Àoshiki's clones.
Each of those clones was immensely strong.
But even the best fighter can't stand against many at once.
And with Uchiha Dali's clones keeping them busy, Kyōshiki only needed to work with his own clones, striking at the right moments for surprise attacks. It was almost foolproof—each strike guaranteed the destruction of one of Àoshiki's clones.
Then came the enjoyable moment of absorbing their energy.
Naturally, Uchiha Dali noticed this scene.
"Heh…"
"You seem to be getting played by my foolish little brother… while you and I fight to the death here, he's reaping all the benefits."
"Aren't you worried that once he grows stronger, he'll turn on you?"
"My brother's ambition is no less than mine!"
Àoshiki took the chance to sow discord.
But he underestimated Uchiha Dali.
Dali merely gave a light laugh. "Compared to that guy, you're clearly the greater threat."
"Once I take care of you, everything else will be easy."
With that, he attacked again.
A single Universal Pull (Banshō Ten'in) dragged Àoshiki, who was trying to retreat, violently back toward him.
Àoshiki let out a cold, mocking laugh. "Everything will be easy, you say?"
"Uchiha Dali, it seems you lack the most basic understanding of this universe—you don't even know what the Ōtsutsuki truly represent…"
"Oh?"
Hearing that, Dali's attention was indeed piqued.
His attacks momentarily slowed.
Sensing this, Àoshiki relaxed slightly and went on, "You don't actually believe my brother and I are the only Ōtsutsuki left in this universe, do you?"
"Of course not."
Uchiha Dali's heart stirred.
He naturally knew there couldn't be only Kyōshiki and Àoshiki among the Ōtsutsuki in the entire universe.
It was just that, for now, those two brothers were the only ones posing a real threat.
And his alliance with Kyōshiki was only temporary.
Once Àoshiki was dealt with, whether they would remain allies or become enemies was another matter entirely.
"Heh, at least you're not completely stupid."
"This universe is vast beyond measure—even our Ōtsutsuki clan can't claim to understand it fully. Your knowledge of us is far too limited."
"Our kin are scattered across countless star systems. Even if you defeat me today, you'll never be able to kill them all."
"What's more… those people have probably already set their sights on you."
Àoshiki revealed a bit more of the truth—or perhaps another lie.
Uchiha Dali couldn't tell, but his interest was caught. He immediately pressed, "Those people—who are you talking about?"
His mouth asked, but his hands didn't slow; he continued attacking.
Àoshiki fended him off with ease but didn't answer. Instead, he gave a meaningful smirk. "Your clones are about to be in trouble."
"When my clones are all destroyed, won't he start going after yours next?"
Hearing that, Uchiha Dali didn't even need to look back—he already knew what was happening.
His clones and Àoshiki's clones were evenly matched.
So during their clashes, his own clones were bound to take damage and be destroyed too.
That gave Kyōshiki the perfect chance.
At that moment, Kyōshiki wasn't just attacking Àoshiki's clones—he was also deliberately striking Uchiha Dali's clones without distinction.
His intent was obvious.
If left unchecked, Kyōshiki would undoubtedly become the biggest winner of this battle.
