Chapter 377 - Chapter 377: Damn it! We've caused huge trouble!

"This time, I was indeed wrong," Slytherin said solemnly.

Come to think of it, counting all the years since he had been alive until now, this was the first time he had ever apologized!

"Apologizing to me isn't very useful, old man. Giving me something practical would be more realistic." Wade smiled.

"Ha! I knew exactly what you were thinking, you brat! Fine then. You can ask me anything you don't understand. From now on, I won't hold anything back from you anymore."

Wade stared at him. "Wait... all the things you taught me before... you were still holding back?"

"Of course! You're not my descendant!" Slytherin said as though it were perfectly natural.

"No wonder... I always felt something was off during a lot of my experiments... so you really did keep a trump card hidden!" Wade sighed. "You've wounded my sincere heart, old man."

"You saved me, so it won't be like that anymore, Wade," Slytherin said seriously.

Boom!

At that moment, the carriage suddenly shook violently, and the Thestrals at the front let out sharp screeches!

"Someone's attacking us!" Andrews jumped to his feet and ran toward the driver's seat.

Boom!

The carriage shook violently once again.

Wade opened the window and looked outside, only to see a squad of wizards riding flying broomsticks rapidly approaching from not far away!

As they flew toward them, they continuously fired spells in their direction!

If Wade had not placed protective enchantments on the carriage beforehand, the entire cabin would already have been blown apart.

"Damn it! Looks like bandits!" Andrews shouted from the driver's seat. "If they were Aurors from the Ministry of Magic, they wouldn't attack immediately!"

"How many are there?" Wade asked.

While steering the carriage, Andrews narrowly dodged another powerful Blasting Curse. "Looks like... twenty or thirty of them! I didn't have time to count!"

As he spoke, Andrews fired several large-scale explosive spells back at the pursuing formation.

But the powerful spells were effortlessly deflected by the other side.

"Oh... damn it, they're strong!" Andrews said in shock.

More and more spells slammed into the carriage, but Andrews only took the initiative to block the especially powerful ones.

There was no helping it. The enemy had too many people.

And the fact that they could casually block his high-powered spells proved that these wizards were all highly capable.

Against opponents of this level, Andrews would not be afraid in a one-on-one fight, or even one against three.

But there were twenty or thirty of them on the other side!

If they were truly surrounded, Andrews had absolutely no chance of winning.

Even relying on the watch's defenses, even if he managed to take down four or five of them, he still would not stand a chance.

The watch's defenses could not withstand many powerful spells!

Although his boss was powerful, two fists still could not fight four hands...

Wade walked to the driver's seat and casually blocked several incoming spells before looking at the wizards relentlessly pursuing them from behind.

Slytherin also floated out, vigilantly observing the surroundings. A trace of excitement faintly appeared in his aged eyes.

"There are too many enemies! I suggest we retreat first and avoid their momentum... We absolutely can't let ourselves get surrounded!" Andrews spoke while firing another spell, forcing back a wizard who was trying to flank them from the side.

"With just this many people, you expect me to avoid their momentum? Bring me my wand!" Slytherin declared domineeringly.

Wade silently handed over a wand.

A hint of madness flashed through Slytherin's eyes as he instantly flew up and charged toward the enemies behind them!

Andrews was completely dumbfounded. Wait, wasn't he a ghost?

"You keep moving forward." Wade calmly patted Andrews on the shoulder, then pulled out the Elder Wand. White mist rose around his figure as he flew toward the rear as well!

Andrews quickly stood up and looked behind him...

The old ghost and the young wizard were already fighting the enemies charging toward them on broomsticks!

All kinds of spells tore across the night sky, illuminating the darkness...

Andrews gritted his teeth, patted the Thestrals, then grabbed a broomstick from the side and mounted it before flying back toward the battle as well!

From afar, Andrews could see the old ghost letting out eerie laughter while rampaging through the enemy formation again and again...

Meanwhile, Wade darted and maneuvered through the air, metal plates circling around him at high speed, attempting to block every spell aimed at him.

But those spells could not even reach Wade before he intercepted them in advance...

Alright, Andrews was convinced once again. In his own hands, the watch was merely a life-saving tool, but in Wade's hands, it was just a final layer of insurance...

If he rushed up there now, would he actually be helping instead of getting in the way?

By the time Andrews finally steeled himself and charged forward, there were already no enemy wizards left in the sky...

Andrews could only control his broomstick and land on the ground.

At this moment, Wade and Slytherin were using Levitation Charms to pile all those people together.

Only then did Andrews realize that none of them were dead?

"Too weak... that wasn't satisfying at all." Slytherin sighed.

"Why do you sound even more battle-hungry than a Gryffindor now?" Wade asked.

"If you were trapped in that place for several months, you'd want to vent a little too." Slytherin put away the wand Wade had given him. His original wand had been lost inside the ancient tomb.

"Fair point." Wade nodded, then pulled out a large pile of red collars from his pocket...

"Ha, I knew you wouldn't leave them alive for no reason." Slytherin looked at Wade with admiration.

"To use Grindelwald's words, every wizard is precious beyond measure... and these people are all fairly capable, so bringing them under our control is the best option." As Wade spoke, he cheerfully fitted the collars onto them one by one.

Andrews stared at them in shock, as though he were looking at Jesus himself...

To defeat so many people while also ensuring none of them died... just how terrifying was that level of strength?

And that ghost could actually use magic?

Andrews felt as though his entire understanding of the world had been overturned!

"Andrews, you're late." Wade smiled. "Still, I'm glad you came back to fight alongside us."

"Seems like you didn't need me..." Andrews said awkwardly.

"But before coming back, you didn't know we could defeat them. So I'm still happy with your choice, Andrews. Alright... take a look and see if you recognize any of these people," Wade said.

They were not far from the town anymore, so if bandits appeared around here, there was a good chance Andrews might actually know them.

Andrews nodded and pulled back one person's hood... then froze on the spot.

"Andrews, what's wrong?"

"Damn it... we've caused huge trouble. They're not bandits... they're Aurors..." Andrews said in a trembling voice.

"Aurors? How is that trouble... Even if the Minister for Magic himself came, I'd still beat him up!"
