'Would I be getting secretly killed by her father, or would there be some kind of insane thing that would happen because I have successfully managed to woo their daughter? Dammit! I really don't want to go! I don't want to spend the rest of my life in an unknown dungeon where the rest of her family will torture me together!'
Letting out a dramatic sigh, he stood up as he prepared to go meet his girlfriend's family. Even though there was a chance that he might go missing after this meeting, since he had given his girlfriend his word, there was no going back now.
Anyway, it's not like they would eat him alive because he had managed to steal their daughter's heart, right?

Xiao cursed in his mind as he got ready. After he was ready, he sent a message to Xi Hong, and an hour later, a car arrived in front of his house. It was a luxurious Rolls Royce. The door of the car opened as Xi Hong stepped out of it.
As soon as she saw him, she waved her hand at him, and he waved back as he and his grandmother approached her.
As they reached her, both of them exchanged some greetings and pleasantries with each other while his grandmother and Xi Hong had some light conversation.
But for some reason, Xiao found the expression on Xi Hong's face slightly strange, as there seemed to be a kind of unusual emotion showing on her face.
Xiao could swear that he was seeing a smirk at the corner of her lips while the rest of her face remained as calm and indifferent as usual. But now she was showing such an expression as though she was having fun seeing him suffer like this.

Xiao thought as he gritted his teeth. Normally, Xi Hong was a calm and reserved person who rarely showed her emotions, as her face was usually calm and indifferent, making it difficult for anyone to know what she was actually thinking.
Even when both of them had met for the first time, she was like this. Despite one of her legs being broken and the other fractured, she still didn't show any kind of emotion on her face.
But the thing was, she was too smart. Just like how deeply he knew her and could tell that she was smirking right now. If it were anyone else, they wouldn't have been able to tell. She was also the same.
She knew him well enough to know that he was actually nervous right now and was having fun seeing that.

Xiao thought as he complained and criticized her in his mind. Anyway, he couldn't say anything openly to her; otherwise, he would get beaten by both of them right now.

When Xiao asked where they were going exactly, whether it was to her house or somewhere else, Xi Hong replied that they were not going to her house.
