Chapter 387 - Chapter 387: Heading to Mary Geoise

Sengoku's scream tore through Marineford.

Garp's eyes snapped toward the battlefield, and his body tensed to rush over, but Dragon was already standing in front of him.

At this moment, Dragon's entire body glowed red. It was obvious he had entered the D clan's secret technique state.

Pitch black claws formed around his hands, wrapped in crackling Haki lightning. Around him, a dozen layers of violent wind spun and roared, and within that storm, bright flashes condensed into countless razor sharp wind blades.

A sword storm.

Even Dragon's hair turned into transparent green wind, rising like elemental flame as he lifted into the air. He had truly stepped into his strongest state.

To stop his father, he had no choice but to reveal everything, right in front of everyone.

Even Akainu and the others standing outside the blade storm stared at Dragon with fear.

So this was what he had been hiding.

High level three color Haki.

An awakened Wind Wind Fruit.

A power so complete and overwhelming that it clearly exceeded the three new admirals.

Dragon not only mastered Haki better than them, he had also developed his Logia farther than any of them. And the most humiliating part?

He had Conqueror's Haki.

Kizaru, Aokiji, Akainu, all of them lacking Conqueror's, could only swallow that comparison in silence.

Was this what made the D clan terrifying?

Hades and the others, fresh from conquering Sengoku, also drifted closer to watch. Seeing Dragon's oppressive state, a strange light flickered in their eyes.

"Very strong," Hades said quietly, fists tightening. "Even stronger than Hell King Oden. Not inferior to seniors like Kaido and Shiki."

He hadn't expected it.

As the head of the second generation of Hell, Hades was actually a little inferior to Brook's cheap apprentice.

Still, Dragon was five or six years older than Hades and his siblings. Hades believed that in a few years, he would catch up, and surpass this D clan monster.

Akainu glanced at the father and son standoff and spoke to Hades in a controlled voice.

"Prince Hades. Do you want us to go with you?"

His meaning was clear.

If Hades ordered it, they would rush in. If Dragon chose to rebel, they would deal with Dragon too.

Hades immediately waved it off, smiling as if nothing mattered.

"No, no, no. Why push Brother Dragon and the Revolutionary Army to the other side?" Hades said lightly. "We go straight to Mary Geoise."

With that, he ordered everything cleaned up.

Sengoku was taken.

The vice admirals and rear admirals were taken.

Even hundreds of colonel level officers were taken.

All of them were marched into Uju's castle.

"Leave the rest of Marineford to Dragon and the Revolutionary commanders," Hades said, tone simple and final.

The new navy and the second generation of Hell withdrew from the Monkey father and son confrontation, carrying captives as they retreated.

And with that choice, Iron Fist Garp was spared.

For now.

Garp fought desperately to break through Dragon's pressure and reach Sengoku, but Dragon blocked him with everything he had, giving him not even a sliver of space.

One by one, the second generation of Hell and the new navy entered Uju's castle. Then, in a few flashes of light, Van Augur and Uju vanished from Marineford completely.

Dragon's chest heaved. He dropped the blade storm, no longer maintaining that terrifying state, and stared at the furious Garp.

"Can you stay here today, for the sake of the Monkey family?" Dragon said, forcing his anger down. "There are still Marines here who need you to rally. I don't want you going to Mary Geoise."

Dragon was grateful Hades hadn't ordered an attack on Garp.

If that had happened, Dragon would have been trapped in a nightmare position.

Garp's shoulders suddenly sagged.

The pressure drained out of him like air from a punctured ship. He dropped to the ground in the least dignified way possible, eyes complicated, almost lost.

"Dragon," Garp said hoarsely. "Can you ask Brook to let Sengoku go? I'm begging you."

Confusion and relief mixed on his face.

If he and Sengoku could survive, they could reunite later in the new navy. If that was the future, maybe he could accept it.

Dragon looked away, regret biting into his voice.

"Why didn't you surrender earlier? Why not join peacefully? Can't you see what's happening in the world?"

"Now I don't even know if Uncle Sengoku will be killed by those second generation Hell monsters and have his Devil Fruit taken. If he falls into Brook's hands, all I can do is beg. I'll try my best."

He had already risked everything to save Garp.

And now the Revolutionary Army would likely be targeted in the future, even if Brook, his cheap master, protected them. Life would not be easy.

Garp's expression shifted again, faster than a mask change in a street opera.

"How about we go to Mary Geoise too?" he said, suddenly shameless, leaning forward as if the beating from earlier had never happened. "You can ask Brook directly for mercy."

"Impossible," Dragon snapped instantly.

He stared at Garp with pure suspicion, the scar on his face still throbbing as if reminding him what his father's love felt like.

"You going there only adds fuel to the fire. You stay here."

"Then cuff me with seastone," Garp said, raising his hands. "I'm surrendering already."

Dragon's face tightened.

"Old man, what does seastone even do to a physical monster like you?" he said flatly. "Unless you're willing to take Vegapunk's strong coma potion and sleep like a corpse, I'm not leaving you. Not for a second."

Garp's eyes widened.

"Sengoku was the uncle who held you in his arms and played the piano for your little bird," Garp roared. "How can you just stand here and watch him die?"

Dragon didn't answer.

Instead, the Revolutionary Army commanders stepped in, Kuma, Karasu, Ivankov, and others, surrounding Garp with Dragon as they all stared at the Navy hero together.

Far away, atop the Elephant Lord that towered tens of thousands of meters into the sky, light flashed inside a building on Zou.

Van Augur appeared, holding Uju, his expression calm.

Marineford to Mary Geoise was not far. The teleportation cost him little. It barely affected him at all.

Below, the armies of the New World and the Elephant Lord were attacking the World Government islands beneath the Red Line. These islands were responsible for protecting Mary Geoise and receiving merchants and Marines transported through the Red Line.

Their scale and prosperity rivaled Sabaody itself.

Now the battle was nearly over.

Most naval fortresses and government forces had been cleared out, and even the dozens of giant elevators used to climb the Red Line had been seized by the Universal Government.

The Elephant Lord crossed those islands and approached Mary Geoise.

From Zou, the Mink tribe and the second generation of Hell who had just been teleported over could already see massive explosions blooming above the Holy Land.

------------

Holy Land, Mary Geoise.

The moment Brook re entered the Hell God Jin form, the pressure on Linlin and Redfield dropped like a mountain sliding off their shoulders. Just a heartbeat earlier, they had almost been erased by Imu, the God of Destruction.

"Redfield," Brook rumbled, his voice muffled inside the Hell God form. "You and Hiruba go and wipe out those rats. Linlin, go help them finish the Five Elders. I'll handle Imu."

Brook could feel it. Those strange, unseen attacks had stopped for the moment.

So he made the call immediately.

Redfield had to assist Hiruba and eliminate the hidden dangers completely. And if Linlin helped kill one of the Five Elders, that would free up two Hell Kings at once.

They had to win this war.

"Brother Brook, I should stay," Linlin said anxiously, fear flashing through her eyes. "What if you get ambushed again?"

"Listen to me."

Brook raised the artifact, the Seven Star Demon Sword, and slashed toward Imu with crushing force. The clash shook the air like a cannon blast.

As long as Brook held Imu down, his Hell Kings could eliminate the Elders one by one.

Then they would all turn on Imu together and end it.

Linlin clenched her teeth, staring at Brook.

She had trained for so many years, yet in the end, she still couldn't do enough here.

Her frustration burned.

Then she turned and shot toward Roger and Rayleigh, eyes locking onto the severely injured long haired Elder, Mars.

Linlin wanted their souls.

She wanted the souls of the long haired Five Elders to increase her strength.

Rayleigh had already carried the exhausted, half broken Roger back to the air fleet and settled him safely. The instant he finished, he rushed back to kill Mars while the Elder was still weak.

He had just traded dozens of moves with Mars when Linlin came charging in like a tyrant.

Rayleigh could only grit his teeth and keep Mars pinned, forcing the Elder to take hits, while coordinating with Linlin to strangle him together.

"Awakening, Soul Soul Secret, Soul Binding and Soul Seizing!"

Linlin's hands turned transparent, shifting into pure soul form. She grabbed at Mars again and again, trying to rip his soul out by force.

Mars, injured to the bone, resisted through sheer spite.

He activated the Seven Deadly Sins Jealousy ability, trying to make Linlin lose her Soul Soul power entirely.

And for a moment, it worked.

Linlin's soul hands snapped back into flesh, her ability slipping away as if someone had cut the rope.

But Mars was far too damaged.

Roger's final life strike had left him in ruins. His injuries were horrific, and part of his insides had already been crushed.

Even with Jealousy suppressing Linlin's ability, Mars still couldn't withstand Rayleigh's Haki coated sword and Linlin's iron fist.

He was smashed back into the ruins, dust exploding upward in a choking wave.

Linlin's Soul Soul power returned.

She didn't hesitate.

She plunged into the rubble and activated Soul Binding again. This time, her soul hands finally seized Mars's fading body, catching him at the edge of unconsciousness.

"Mama," Linlin hissed, eyes blazing. "I want your soul."

She yanked.

Mars's soul was torn out.

Linlin threw it into her mouth and swallowed it.

Her eyes flared red.

A violent surge of soul power erupted from her, and her roar shook the heavens. Conqueror's waves blasted outward, shattering nearby ruins and sweeping debris into the air like a storm.

Then she punched.

Mars was obliterated.

Not even a corpse remained.

"Oh no," Shakky blurted, her face tightening instantly. "Linlin is losing control!"

A second ago, Shakky had been thinking it was a waste that Linlin got to beat a Five Elder down herself.

But the moment she saw Linlin's red eyes and unstable aura, panic replaced everything.

The blood and corpses of the Five Elders didn't matter.

Linlin's safety mattered.

Kong, watching from afar, couldn't believe it either. Another Elder had fallen, beaten into nothing.

Was there truly any hope left for the World Government?

Rayleigh leaned on his sword, chest heaving, body covered in wounds. His opponent was finally dead.

Then Linlin's red eyes turned, and Rayleigh's scalp went numb.

Does she see me as an enemy now?

Rayleigh didn't wait to find out.

He ran.

He didn't even dare to breathe.

Fortunately, Linlin didn't chase him. She rushed straight toward Brook instead, red eyed and feral, like she only remembered Brook's existence and wanted to erase every enemy standing in his way.

Mars's death shocked the remaining Elders.

They had lost another old friend.

Kaido and Oden, still fighting Saturn together, became even more excited. They wanted the third Elder's head for the Hell Guild.

They threw everything into the assault, targeting Saturn's injuries without mercy.

Saturn had already been tricked once by the new Elder, Jaygarcia, forced into a position swap, then caught in Kaido, Linlin, and Oden's charged explosive attacks. Even with the Seven Deadly Sins Gluttony ability, he had still taken damage.

Now he was facing two lunatics, Kaido and Oden, both attacking like men who had decided this was the end of the world.

Saturn didn't know how long he could last.

Warcury was still locked in combat with Newgate, but hesitation flickered in the bald Elder's arrogant eyes, as if he too could see the World Government's fate collapsing in real time.

Newgate's Tremor Tremor power was finally beginning to leave damage behind, cracks spreading through Warcury's defense little by little.

Elsewhere, Peter, had cold sweat on his forehead.

If Imu didn't kill Brook soon, they were finished.

"Jihahaha! Scared?"

Shiki, who had captured the new Elder earlier, grinned arrogantly at Peter. If he could capture a second Elder, his name would spread across the world. He might even surpass Redfield and become vice president of the Hell Guild.

That thought made Shiki's attacks even fiercer.

But the truth was brutal.

Shiki was no match for Peter.

He was being suppressed, little by little.

Peter had always been the strongest among the Five Elders.

If they kept fighting one on one, Shiki would eventually fall.

But the overall situation was already tilted hard in favor of the Universal Government and the Hell Guild.

As long as Shiki could keep Peter busy until Redfield returned from killing those hidden rats, the strongest Elder would fall too.

Sagon, watching another Elder die, began to panic. Wang Zhi and the Seraphim became even more excited, and their control abilities rained down on the admiral without pause.

Wang Zhi himself wielded the supreme blade, Emperor's Code, and pushed in with killing intent.

Back in the Rocks era, he could duel a God's Knight one on one.

Now, with a Seraph team supporting him, he refused to believe he couldn't solo kill a Navy admiral.
