A middle aged man stepped out carrying a tray.

He turned toward the rats again.

The two rats nodded enthusiastically.
One vanished beneath the roots.
A minute later distant squeaking echoed faintly.
Then chaos erupted.
Somewhere deeper in the estate someone shouted.
"THE RATS AGAIN!"
"CATCH THEM!"
Another voice followed.
"THEY STOLE THE SPIRIT FRUIT!"
