After two days of a long deep and refreshing sleep Shad Darc finally woke up the first thing he saw upon waking up was the oversized cat staring at him intently with a hint of curiosity in its white and green reptilian eyes.
Shad Darc starred back at it but unlike the oversized cat he wasn't thinking anything in particular as the thirst he was feeling just got worst as if he hasn't drink water for ages of course he was also hungry in fact he was very hungry at the moment as if he could eat an entire elephant.
He stood up from the comfort of the oversized cat and his checked his body to see if his injury had completely healed unfortunately it hasn't healed well majority of it had healed in fact his both hands felt usable again but the pain was still there reminding him not to stressed it out.
He looked at his half naked body and let out a stressful sigh while speaking to himself in a low tone feeling a little bit down "my shirt is completely gone and even my trouser is one step away from going out if I should have a battle of this proportion again and survived I will end up walking naked in this weird looking forest.
"aargh, this so annoying" he said a bit louder and looked at the oversized cat while silently thinking to himself he tried put his right hand on his chin as if in a serious comtemplation only to feel a sharp pain coursing through his right hand.
Letting out courses he brought the hand down and silently looked at the creature's eyes the giant cat also stared at him wondering what the thing was thinking.
'So what exactly am suppose to do with this thing after all I have never had or raised any pet before nor do I know how to do it, wait why am I even thinking of raising it' as he was there lost in his own wondering thought jumping from one point to another one of his mental identity spoke.
'Just treat as a guard dog or whatever well just try to be nice to it from now on and who knows you might see something nice or great or even unexpected things'
'hmm, is that so' he thought why seriously contemplating on what to do he then thought of something else.
'Now that I think about why does the oversized cat seems to be in a much better condition than I am, wait, wait I didn't I actually thought it would survive now that I think about and even if it does it is suppose to be grimacing in pain because the wound I dealt to it was fatal but why does look perfectly fine' thinking this and feeling shocked and confused at the same time his expression outwardly was perfectly fine.'
'Don't stress yourself by overthinking this matter to much after all this is a world that is entirely different from Earth with so many questions yet unanswered and so many truth yet to be uncovered so this shouldn't come much as a surprise to you' said the pondering fighter identity.
'Maybe you are right' Shad Darc said skeptically.
'Well that aside lets focus on the task ahead and think of the present situation while we are at it' said the lonely king identity.
"Yeah the task ahead" said Shad Darc in low calm tone while staring at the oversized cat.
The giant cat quickly averted it eyes as it begin to feel a little uncomfortable while looking at Shad Darc eyes.
It couldn't exactly say why it felt uncomfortable looking at the little thing eyes but all it knows is that it is not comfortable staring at the little thing eyes for too long.
Well Shad Darc on the other hand just keep staring at the oversized cat with no particular emotions towards it instead he was thinking of how how he could get to a water source before he died of thirst as that was his primary goal in the beginning.
Seriously thinking to himself a thought surfaced his mind 'come to think of it why does the days here feels far much longer than that of Earth or am I just overthinking it' he paused for a while and then mentally scratched his head as doing so physically would only caused him unnecessary pain.
"Aargh, so many questions and no one to answer them how annoying" he then let out a stressed sigh and spoke to the oversized cat.
"Hey from now own you would be my accomplice and guard dog even though you are an oversized cat and your name from now own will be Fray" Saying all this Shad Darc stood there for while intently looking at fray as if expecting it to say something.
The giant cat just looked at Shad Darc with dumbfounded eyes wondering what the little thing was saying as it couldn't understand a single word that Shad Darc had said except for one that is the fact that it has been named by the little thing.
And the moment it recognized this something subtle changed within it.
" Well since you have nothing to say let just move as you can see earlier on I was heading somewhere I wonder if you can do a favor by allowing me to ride atop your back, well only if you yourself is capable of walking considering the damage done to one of your limbs."
Well it was not like it expected the creature the understand what he was saying which made him feel as if he was talking to himself which was not necessary a bad thing or new thing to him he was used to it after all.
But to his surprise the creature somehow understood him as it stood up and lower it huge body before Shad Darc signaling for him to hop on.
Shad Darc didn't overthink it too much as he immediately hop on and only after that did he think of the fact the oversized cat was capable of understanding him.
