Upon hearing Lily Turner's remark, Athena Linton's curiosity about the matter grew even more. However, no matter how much she inquired, Lily wouldn't say much, only advising her to stay away from Grant Heath.
Squeak!
Just as Lily was at a loss from Athena's persistent questions, Easton Holmes pushed the door open and walked in, "Honey! It's time to go back to the room and rest."
As Lily hadn't come downstairs for quite some time, Easton figured that Athena must have been keeping her occupied. Regardless of whether he would interrupt their conversation, he went upstairs to find her.
"Uh, I was just about to head downstairs." Lily had wanted to leave long ago, but since Athena kept probing her, she couldn't just get up and leave directly.
As soon as Easton finished speaking, Lily quickly stood up and walked towards him. Seeing her so quick to move, Easton thought she must have been overwhelmed and hurriedly stepped forward to pull her in, "Are you tired?"
