Sadly, things did not go as wished.
The Spider Mother 'Anarons' seemed to realize something was amiss, and she suddenly let out a shriek and chased after them. She raised her massive pincers high and swept toward Ben and his group.
"Right ahead!" Ben shouted in his heart, holding the Princess as he rolled forward. The Princess let out a muffled groan, and the colossal pincers of the Spider Mother 'Anarons' swept over their heads, directly slicing through two knights and a witch.
The shattered bodies fell to the ground like split logs, and then blood gushed out like a fountain, splattering all over the nearby ground.
Ben vaguely heard a terrified scream from the young witch named 'Sugar Jar', as he dazedly grabbed the Earth Sword, rising from the ground. Looking up, he saw yet another cliff ahead. However, there was a half-human-wide fissure on one side of the cliff wall, where the rocks interlocked, black and cavernous, identical to what he had in his memories.
