Mabel Quinn thought about this in her heart, then entered the room, took a clean blanket, and gently covered Kyle Kinston, to prevent him from catching a cold.
Looking at the sleeping Kyle, Mabel found herself somewhat lost in thought. Today, Kyle's initiative really surprised her; he would willingly drink a beverage he didn't like for Ivy and even insisted on finishing the wind chime for the child despite his discomfort, not wanting the child to know he was unwell.
She could feel that he was considering the child. In the past, he detested children. She initially thought he wouldn't be very kind to Ivy, or it would merely be superficial kindness, not reaching his heart.
After all, he had never expected this child's birth. So previously, all she hoped for was that he would never harm the child.
And now, she sees him being good to the child, bit by bit. This kindness is not a deliberate disguise but because he loves Ivy as well.
