I quickly woke up to find myself on a white bed, covered with a white blanket. In front of me was a large window draped with white curtains, gently swaying and letting in soft light that illuminated the room. I looked at my body, which had no clothes on it, only my red shorts, I was supposed to be covered in injuries and was relieved to see my body was completely healed—no pain anymore. I could feel the cool breeze on my skin; I felt a weird feeling in me.
Then I wondered, where is Elara, and where are my clothes? Just then, someone said, "Elara went out to get some food, and your clothes are hanging on the corner near the door."
"Kyah," I exclaimed, quickly reacting and pulling the blankets up to cover my body. As my eyes adjusted, I recognized who it was, a woman sitting on a stool near a brown desk. On the desk was a monitor, accompanied by what appeared to be a high-tech keyboard, along with various chalks and some medicine. It then dawned on me, this was a sick bay, and I had been treated here before. Suddenly, a realization struck me.
"Um, were you the one who pulled off my clothes", I said.
She stood up, and I then noticed what she was wearing. She had short black hair with white stripes that reached her neck.
Her skin was milky and fair, and her eyes had black eyeballs with white sparkles in them, but she had large eyebags.
You could say she was beautiful, but her outfit was quite unusual, she wore black and white sneakers, and blue jeans decorated with various cute children's stickers, like rainbows and unicorns.
Over her outfit, she had a large white lab coat with the school badge on it, worn over a white T-shirt. On each side of the abdomen area of her lab coat, there were two silver crosses—one facing up and the other facing down—with lots of chains around them, connected together.
In the middle, a small multicolored padlock was locked there. On her head, she wore a black nurse cap decorated with various white illustrations of chains all around it. She also wore two gold-colored necklaces, each with a pendant.
She walked to me and said with a smooth but commanding voice, "Don't worry, I have already seen everything".
I put my face into my hands as my face was very red, Mother I'm sorry, I lost my innocence.
The nurse looked at me with a confused face and try to say something, then someone barged in by kicking the door open and I looked to see who the person is, and it was Elara, and I quickly covered my whole body with my blanket, and Elara started to look at us weirdly and shouted, "Miss Ara, what did you do now".
After a lot of arguments between both of them, they gave me back my clothes which was clean and didn't smell like soot, and covered my bed with a curtain, I changed back to my school uniform, after I was done, Elara left for classes, and I stayed behind for a final checkup.
I sat on my bed, and she asked me some questions, while sitting on her work chair and I answered them diligently, like I was being forced, then she said, "Who would've known I will meet a flame elemental, and it is one of the chosen ones", My eyes opened in shock, and my body shifted away from her, and I asked, "How do you know about that".
She laughed in response and said, "Oh, don't misunderstand things, Cosmo told me all about you"
I replied, "Then you must be very close with Cosmo, since Cosmo told me it was a secret only a few know."
Immediately, I regretted saying that, as she looked at me with intense bloodlust.
Her face was distorted with rage, and it was terrifying, she seemed as if she could bore a hole in my body with her eyes. I shivered and broke out in a cold sweat, wondering what to do.
Are all adults in this school so scary and strong?
Noticing my trembling, she suddenly stopped releasing her bloodlust and I could breathe easily again,
She sighed and said, "I'm sorry. I was just mad at what you said. I'm not close with him, and I don't want to be involved with him, but he always comes to disturb and bother me most of the time. It's so frustrating, just because of what happened long ago." She raised her arms as if to express her feelings, but I had different thoughts.
"It sounds like as if Cosmo is a simp", I thought, and in my head, I heard
"What is wrong with that?" Cosmo said as his voice rang in my head and disappeared.
I am still amazed how he can do this; this is different than the P.E skill MINDS AS ONE, because the length of effect is only 20m, and I'm sure Cosmo isn't 20m close to me right now, so what is it, but that didn't matter, because he didn't even deny being a simp for Miss Ara.
Miss Ara who seemed to have cooled down, then she said, "You should thank Elara, for what she did"
I quickly replied, "Yes, you're right I should properly thank her for helping me and joining my sect"
"Nope, I'm not talking about that, it is her using her P.E Curse, which makes her have major drawbacks"
"P. E Curse?", I said with a confused tone
"It is like the opposite of P.E Blessing, wait why don't you know about this, didn't Cosmo teach you about this, this is essential information" she said
I shook my head, and in my mind, I heard Cosmo in my mind say, "Shit, I forgot about that", Seriously dude.
She sighed and said, "I did not get paid for this, okay Blaze, you know about Prana Essence, right, the energy that roams round the cosmology"
I nodded my head at what she said, then she said, "Thank God, it seems what I have to explain is reduced, so basically when we are born, we have infinite energy in us, but after 1 second of existing, our infinite energy turns to finite, and it starts counting down, then due to various reasons like sickness, accidents or mental illness, it can reach to zero and we die"
Woah, I touched my chest, it feels weird my life is being counted down, like Countdown, hee-hee-he, then my thoughts were interrupted by her saying, "Okay in our bodies, we have Cores in them, they are what helps us regulate the P.E energy and use it for our powers, there are various of them".
"Firstly, there is the normal or laity core this is a core that people who had no core before can create and it helps them to use their P.E Skills, you know what P.E skills are right", she looks at me as she said that, and I nod my head in response.
"Okay, so there is other 2 types of cores, for the other 2 types of people, that we know of, in this vast cosmology of course, there are the blessed Core, which grants the vessel of the core, Blessings are abilities that are given to the Blessed, they can do a lot of stuff with them, like for example I have a blessing".
"OOOH, Really, may I ask what is it", my eyes twinkled with curiosity, with her explanation, the guy I fought before must have been a blessed, why was a guy like that blessed.
"Hey, Blaze, have you noticed you haven't been smelling anything even though I was smoking right in front of you"
"Huh, wait what", as I was confused, she removed her cigarette, and blew a puff of smoke in my face, I raised my hands instinctively to my eyes, then I stopped, I felt weird, I can't smell the smoke, even worse I can't smell anything, I can breathe but can't smell, my sense of smell is gone.
I looked at her with fear and asked while coughing due to smoke entering into my body, "Why can't I smell anything, what did you do to me".
She looked at me and I felt weird again like before, then I smell that burnt smell you normally perceive when someone is smoking around u, which of course didn't help my coughing, then she handed me a glass of water to drink, as I took her from her and drank the water, managing to cool down, also noticing this room has a water dispenser.
After finishing the cup and dropping it down, I breathed in and breathed out, as the windows are open fresh air blowing my back, enjoying the smell of the air freshener in the room that she sprayed to remove the smell of the smoke in the room, but still I was scared of her because of what she did.
"Don't worry, you don't need to be scared of me, I just sealed your sense of smell, so you won't be affected by the smell of the cigarette", Miss Ara cites.
Okay, I guess that is valid in a way.
"Okay, so like I said before my power is to seal things, both physical and conceptual, that is the basis of my blessing", says Miss Ara.

"Broken, right" Miss Ara finishes my sentence.
I nod my head in response. Miss Ara continues by saying, "Now that we have done with the blessed core, let us finish by talking about the Elements core or we call them, the parts of God, now one of these cores is in you right now".
I instinctively touch my chest and feel my heart beating; I can't sense a core within me, and it makes me feel weird, what could possibly be inside of me that people will have to call it, "The Part of a God"?
"You may not be able to sense it, but it is within you and it is what helps in fueling your E.E(Elemental Energy), which obviously helps in you creating your flames, I think that is all, so you need to go now as you are totally fine", Miss Ara stated, then she turned back to her desk, then she noticed I was still sitting down, and she turned back to me and said, "What are you waiting for".
"Um, the P.E Curse, you still haven't told me about that", I asked.
"Oh, that I forgot, yea it is", before she could continue, she was interrupted by the door opening and that person was Elara as she barged in and said, "School is over, came here to pick Blaze, is he alright, Miss Ara".
"Yes, he is alright and fine, Blaze do not stress yourself and have a good rest, well then, goodbye", She said, as she turned around to her desk.
I stood up to meet with Elara, then as I walked out the door, I looked back and saw Elara still with Miss Ara, as the nurse said some things to her, while smiling and Elara blushing in response to probably what she said, Also Miss Ara looks really beautiful when she smiles, and in my head, I heard, "I know, right", I responded with "Mr. Cosmo, I ask, can you stop yearning from my head", there was no response.
Elara seems to have been done with what she was conversing with Miss Ara, and as I continued to look at her, she said, "What are you looking at? Let us start going".
We went down the stairs and walked past the long hallway with large windows bringing in the light from the dusk, and Elara stopped walking and I could not see her probably as she was in the shade and she asked me, "You know, are you really sure you want me to be part of your sect?"
"Why do you ask that question, Elara", I responded.
"Because I am not normal, obviously as I am not normal for, I am cursed and I am a monster, you know", She coldly stated like it was true and normal, which shocked me, then I thought about what she said then I replied, "Even if that is true, I don't get why you think that, because we are all not normal from my eyes, like I shoot fire from my hands, that isn't normal, is it".
Elara eyes widened and her face full of shock, like she hadn't expected this answer, then she said, "But, everyone will look down on you with me being by your side and it will be hard for you to find people for your sect with a cursed by your side".
"I don't care about that; I still want you in my sect as in my eyes, you are no different from everyone else, I don't understand the significance of cursed or blessed, In the end, we all have powers, we are all abnormal and that is what we are, so don't care about what others say, and as you are not cursed to me, you are just Elara to me", I said while smiling, while reaching towards her hand and removing her from the shade into the light.
As Elara was dragged into the sunlight, she had a closer look on Blaze's face and thought that his voice and even his eyes are full of conviction and what he is saying is true. Immediately Elara felt a whirlpool of emotions and then, she smiled, and said, "You are a good person, thank you for what you said, Sect Leader Blaze"
"Welcome to the sect Elara, nice to have you, I think we will have a great time during the times we will be with each other", I cited as I continued walking forward.
Elara looked at the boy who was walking forward and thought that he has a very interesting mindset, and seems to be innocent, but she muttered, "How sad, I pity him", then she heard Blaze calling for her, then she followed the young, innocent and pitiful leader, unknown to her, to their salvation.
