I stared at the Soul Sea for a long time.
The answer was obvious now. I had been approaching the problem from the wrong direction. I had spent all this time trying to increase the quantity of Soul Force within my Soul Space, assuming that a larger ocean would naturally mean a stronger foundation.
But the Soul Space itself had already reached the limit imposed by my current realm. No matter how much energy I poured into it, the boundary would not expand unless the foundation supporting it changed first.
I slowly looked toward my floating soul.
At 333 feet tall, it remained suspended above the enormous ocean, surrounded by dense strands of Soul Force. I could feel the immense power contained within it, yet I also sensed something much deeper beneath the surface. The Soul Sea was not refusing more energy because it lacked space. It was refusing because I had reached the absolute limit of what my current foundation could contain.
Then another thought emerged.
