I opened my eyes.
The ocean around me trembled immediately.
The water no longer touched my body naturally anymore. It bent around me instinctively, layers of pressure spreading through the abyss while silver essence drifted slowly across my skin like flowing mist.
Everything felt different now.
The laws surrounding me no longer resembled separate forces I had to grasp and control. They felt close and familiar. Like extensions of thought itself responding before intention had even fully formed.
Far above Abor, my soul projection still towered across the heavens while storms of essence spiraled endlessly around its gigantic figure, but now I could truly feel it. Every movement of that massive form echoed directly through me without delay, the boundary between body and soul almost nonexistent after the ascension.
