Asher stared at his system interface. He had around 500 Pleasure Points left after using his skill. In this human realm, 500 PP went much further than it did back in the fantasy world, but earning it here was far harder. Fortunately, thanks to his intimacy with Loona, he'd managed to farm a decent stash.
He slipped into his combat boots and pulled the laces tight, listening carefully through his earpiece—the one synced to the wiretap he'd installed in Karen's room.
Her voice filtered through, mid-conversation:
"I'm ready, my love. Yeah, it's enough. I know, I know... but I just hope they design the cure soon before things get worse. You're mutating too, aren't you? Of course I'm worried about you!
