After listening to Loona's story, I did the best I could to console her. If there's one thing I've learned from my life with women so far, it's that they are much easier targets when they are broken and hurting.
Although I didn't want to exploit Loona the exact same way Josh was, I ultimately had no choice. I knew damn well the girl was exhausted and desperately needed a shoulder to lean on, so I provided mine, but solely for my own personal motives.
Entangled in a web of lies, I didn't have a single person on earth I could truly trust. The only ones I could rely on were those bound to me through my system.
And with that, I began my taming process.
I wiped Loona's tears gently, showing her a tenderness no man in her world ever had. Looking deep into her eyes, I brushed a strand of hair aside to gaze at her beautiful face.
"You're gorgeous, Loona. I hate seeing you used by Josh just because of what your father did."
