The figure remained seated, and his gaze stayed fixed on the distant sky while Kael stood before him, and although no words were spoken for a moment, the silence did not feel empty but instead felt heavy, as if something deep was being weighed and measured.
Then the figure slowly lifted his hand, and the space around them shifted in response while faint distortions spread outward.
"You have already seen it," he said calmly, and his voice carried quiet certainty. "Every path you take leads to failure, and every choice you make binds you deeper into their design."
Kael's expression hardened, but he did not interrupt and instead listened.
The figure continued without pause.
