Kurama retracted its flared tails back to its side, and lay back down on the grass.
"Ahem, what exactly is going on, Naruto? Why do you have a Mangekyo Sharingan and Adamantine Sealing Chains?"
Naruto smiled, not exposing Kurama's earlier panic and forced composure.
He sat down next to Kurama's head and closed the Mangekyo Sharingan in his left eye, reverting it to a normal pupil. Then he retracted the golden chains on his right wrist back into his body.
"An ability I just awakened. How is it? Not bad, right?"
Kurama looked incredulous. "Are you kidding me?"
"Adamantine Sealing Chains is the Kekkei Genkai of the Uzumaki clan. With that half of the Uzumaki bloodline in your body, awakening them, while rare, is not entirely impossible."
"But what's up with that Mangekyo in your left eye? That is the Kekkei Genkai of the Uchiha clan, a completely different lineage system from the Uzumaki bloodline. How could you possibly awaken it?"
"The Adamantine Sealing Chains were indeed just awakened. As for the Mangekyo, I got it from Itachi."
Naruto briefly recounted how he obtained Shisui's Mangekyo from Itachi, and also took the opportunity to explain the function of Kotoamatsukami.
Kurama didn't know who Itachi was, but when it heard the effect of Kotoamatsukami, its scarlet pupils shrank slightly.

This ability was no longer a simple combat skill, but a dojutsu that could fundamentally erase a person's autonomous consciousness.
"Then how do you intend to use this Mangekyo?"
Naruto thought for a moment.
There was no rush right now, he might as well have a good chat with Kurama here.
"The Ninja World will face very powerful enemies in the future."
Kurama's ears twitched upon hearing this. "The enemy you are talking about is the race you mentioned before that aims to devour planetary life?"
Naruto nodded. "You actually know this race, too."

Kurama sprang up from the grass, its nine tails held taut behind it.
"Naruto, what are you saying? The old man could never be an enemy."
Naruto raised his hands in a soothing gesture. "Kurama, don't get agitated. The enemy is not the Sage of Six Paths himself. The real enemy is the Sage of Six Paths's mother, Kaguya, and the Ōtsutsuki clan behind her."
"The Ōtsutsuki clan plants God Trees on various planets. The roots of the God Tree pierce deep into the planet, devouring the life force of the entire world. The God Tree converts this life force into Chakra, and ultimately creates a Chakra fruit."
"The Ōtsutsuki clan sends clansmen to different planets to plant God Trees. After the God Tree devours the planet's life, the person guarding the God Tree plucks the Chakra fruit and consumes it, thereby obtaining greater power and evolving toward a higher-dimensional life form."
"Kaguya was the guardian sent to this planet to plant the God Tree. Later, because of her excessive cruelty, she used the power of the God Tree to create an army of White Zetsu to stockpile strength against the approaching Ōtsutsuki kin, but she was misunderstood by her two sons, the Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo, and his younger brother, Hamura."
"The two believed that their mother was enslaving the living beings on this land, so they joined forces to launch a battle against Kaguya, eventually sealing her away."
"As for the subsequent development of the Ninja World, you should know better than I do."
Kurama lay back down on the grass. It finally understood why Naruto had been training desperately for the past few months.
"You just said that Kaguya was sent here to plant the God Tree. If she doesn't return, the Ōtsutsuki clan will one day descend upon this planet in person. This is the real reason you have been preparing, isn't it?"
"Yes, but not entirely. There is still one Ōtsutsuki hiding in the Ninja World right now."
"The Ōtsutsuki clan usually operates in pairs. When Kaguya came to this planet, she had a partner named Isshiki."
"Back then, in order to enjoy the Chakra fruit alone, Kaguya took advantage of Isshiki's lack of preparation and ambushed him from behind, nearly killing him."
"But Isshiki did not die completely and survived by parasitizing a human. For a thousand years, he has been accumulating power in some corner of the Ninja World."
"When the Ōtsutsuki clansmen arrive in the Ninja World, he will be the most direct enemy we have to face from within."
Kurama asked, "Naruto, how do you know all this? This can no longer be explained by simple intelligence gathering. You mention the Sage of Six Paths and Kaguya as if you were speaking of people you have met. Did you experience these things? Are you from the future?"
Naruto shook his head. "I don't believe anyone can return from the future. If someone really returned to the past from the future, it would violate the time paradox. It is impossible for two of the same person to exist on the same timeline simultaneously, unless they belong to a timeline that has already been annihilated."
"But if that were the case, their very existence would prove that the future no longer exists, and the information they brought back would lose its reference value."
"So, rather than time travel, I prefer to believe in parallel universes."
"I simply saw a future in another parallel universe. In that future, we faced countless enemies together and became inseparable partners."
"But when facing the Ōtsutsuki clan, even if you and I activated Baryon Mode, we could only perish together with the enemy."
