"Heyy, Bilac!" Sunraku called, pushing open the door to the rabbit's smithy.
"Oh? Sunraku." She glanced up from her work, one brow arched. "What is it this time? Don't tell me you've already gone and busted the weapons I made you."
"Eh? Nah, not like that!" He waved his hands like he was warding off a storm. "I'm just here to get a weapon fixed for a friend. It's… well, kinda split in two."
Bilac sighed, setting her tools aside before stepping away from the workbench. "Show me."
"What? Just like that? No questions? Huh, didn't peg you for the softie type."
"Shut up! I still owe you for helping me become a 'Divine Craftsman.' It's the least I can do, birdbrain."
Sunraku swiftly opened his inventory and navigated the menus. Moments later, with a flash of blue particles, two shards—dark as night—materialised on the smithing table. He was about to explain the sword to Bilac, but when he glanced at her, confusion stopped him short. Shock was etched across her face as she slowly turned to face him.
"What friend gave you this?"
She asked to his surprise, yet he answered nonetheless.
"He's this new buddy, Kuro. He's gonna need that sword for our fight against Wethermon."
"Can't fix it, no matter how you slice it." She answered with a disappointed shake of her head.
"Though, honestly, I'm more surprised one of your friends even has it. Did you even ask where your friend got this?"
"No not really, I ain't

either way a return to this book is closer than even I might think just have to re-evaluate some things...
