"Myra, after breakfast, we will head to the police station to file the complaint," William spoke, his tone serious.
Myra pursed her lips and said, "Dad, can we go a bit later~ …. I~ …" before she could complete, she was interrupted by Wendy, her voice loud, "No way, sis. Are you going to let him go just like that? Those fake tears, shallow apology, all are just a hoax. He is just trying to gain sympathy."
Myra rubbed her temples, "Wendy, it's not like that. I didn't change my mind. I just said we can go later. Meaning, sometime in the afternoon," Myra explained. "After breakfast, I have plans with Fabian. So, I will be heading to his house."
Wendy's furrowed brows relaxed as she clicked her tongue and mumbled, "Sorry, I got a little carried away, didn't I?"
"Yeah, you totally did," Yelena whispered. She then looked at Myra and asked, "Plans? So early? What's up? Hmm?"
