Chapter 52 - 52

Life gradually settled back into its familiar rhythm after the celebrations.

Akshata resumed attending school, completing her assignments, and spending time with her friends. Although she had now signed with IMG, she never allowed modeling to become the center of her life. She remembered the promise she had made during the evaluation process—that her education would always remain just as important as her career.

Whenever she returned home from school, she also made time to help her father.

Nagaraju had begun thinking seriously about expanding his film production business into Bollywood. The idea excited him, but he knew that entering a new industry required the right story and the right timing.

One evening, Akshata walked into his study carrying a thick folder.

"Appa," she said, placing it on his desk, "I've been working on something."

Nagaraju looked at the folder curiously.

"You've been hiding this from me?"

She smiled.

"I wanted to finish it first."

He opened the folder.

Inside was a complete screenplay, neatly typed and carefully organized. Alongside it were handwritten notes about the characters, the pacing of the story, and suggestions for production.

Nagaraju looked up in surprise.

"When did you write all of this?"

Akshata smiled sheepishly.

"Mostly at night... after finishing my homework."

"I've spent the last several weeks revising it."

Nagaraju slowly turned the pages.

The story immediately caught his attention.

Its emotional arc, humor, and dramatic moments flowed naturally.

"This is impressive," he admitted.

Akshata hesitated before speaking again.

"Appa... if you decide to make this film, I'd like to suggest one particular actor for the lead role."

She mentioned the actor's name.

"I think he'd be perfect for this character."

Nagaraju listened carefully.

He had learned that his daughter's instincts were often thoughtful, so he made a note of the suggestion.

"What made you choose him?" he asked.

"I think he can bring both emotion and charm to the role," she replied. "The story needs someone who can make the audience laugh, but also make them care."

Nagaraju closed the script gently.

"You've put your heart into this."

Akshata smiled.

"I don't want to chase only my own dreams, Appa."

"You've always supported me without hesitation."

"If there's anything I can do to help you achieve your dreams too, I want to do it."

Her words touched him deeply.

He stood up and gently placed his hand on her head.

"You've already helped me more than you realize."

Akshata shook her head.

"No, Appa."

"I want all of us to succeed together."

"I don't want my success to belong only to me."

"I want our family's happiness to grow together."

Nagaraju smiled proudly.

In his heart, he couldn't help but think of the memories from his previous life. There had once been a film with a similar premise that had been made on a modest budget and had gone on to become a remarkable commercial success.

As he read through the screenplay once more, he felt that same spark.

Perhaps history would not repeat itself exactly.

But perhaps this story, too, had the potential to connect with audiences.

Closing the folder, he looked at his daughter.

"Let's see where this journey takes us."

Akshata smiled.

"One dream at a time, Appa."

And with that, father and daughter quietly began working toward another shared dream—one in front of the camera, and one behind it.

Over the next three months, production on Nagaraju's film progressed smoothly. The cast and crew worked efficiently, staying on schedule, and before long the film was complete.

Only the final stages of post-production remained.

"If everything goes according to plan," Nagaraju said one evening, "we'll be ready to release the film in about a month."

Akshata smiled.

"I hope the audience loves it, Appa."

He laughed.

"Let's hope so."

While Nagaraju focused on the film's release, Akshata began preparing for the next chapter of her own journey.

Since she had signed with IMG, she had regular calls with members of the development team. They emphasized that becoming a successful model was not about becoming as thin as possible—it was about building a healthy, well-balanced body that suited her height, age, and long-term wellbeing.

As part of her development, IMG arranged consultations with a nutritionist and a fitness trainer.

During her first nutrition session, the specialist reviewed her health, eating habits, and body measurements.

After several assessments, the nutritionist smiled.

"Akshata, you have a naturally fast metabolism."

She looked up curiously.

"Is that good?"

"It's helpful," the nutritionist replied. "It means your body doesn't gain weight easily. But that doesn't mean nutrition becomes less important."

She continued,

"At your age, our goal isn't weight loss. You're still growing."

"Our priority is helping your body develop in a healthy and balanced way."

She explained that Akshata needed enough nutrients to support growth, muscle development, healthy skin, strong hair, and overall energy.

"You don't need to avoid food," the nutritionist said.

"In fact, we'd like you to enjoy a wide variety of nutritious foods."

She prepared a personalized meal plan that included balanced portions of whole grains, vegetables, fruits, protein-rich foods, dairy or equivalent calcium sources, healthy fats, and plenty of water.

"The goal," she explained, "isn't to make you look smaller. It's to help you become stronger, healthier, and more confident."

The fitness trainer shared a similar philosophy.

"We're not trying to build a bodybuilder's physique," he said with a smile.

"We're developing posture, flexibility, balance, coordination, and strength."

He introduced her to a beginner's routine that included stretching, mobility exercises, core strengthening, posture training, and light strength exercises appropriate for her age.

He also encouraged regular walking and simple cardio activities to improve endurance.

One day he asked her to walk across the training room.

After watching carefully, he smiled.

"Good."

"Now let's improve your posture even further."

He gently corrected her shoulder position.

"When you walk, imagine a string gently lifting the top of your head."

"It helps you stand tall without looking stiff."

Week after week, Akshata practiced.

She noticed that she wasn't simply becoming more comfortable in front of a camera.

She was standing straighter, moving more gracefully, and feeling more energetic.

Another important part of the training involved communication.

One afternoon, Daniel joined a video session.

"Modeling isn't only about photographs," he explained.

"You'll meet designers, photographers, journalists, stylists, and clients from many different countries."

He smiled.

"So we'll also help you develop professional communication skills."

She practiced introducing herself confidently, maintaining eye contact, listening carefully, answering questions thoughtfully, and speaking with clarity.

Daniel reminded her,

"You don't need to change your personality."

"You simply need to learn how to express yourself with confidence."

Months earlier, Akshata had been afraid to stand in front of a camera.

Now she found herself looking forward to every lesson.

Finally, an email arrived from IMG.

Daniel called shortly afterward.

"Akshata," he said, "we're ready to begin your official development program."

"The next phase of your training will take place in New York."

Nagaraju looked at the travel dates and smiled.

"So..."

"We're going back to New York."

Manu, who had been listening from the doorway, jumped excitedly.
