Chapter 1019 - Chapter 1236: Leaving The Secret Realm

After catching Tyranitar's wife, Julian left the Primal Secret Realm. Although, due to having an additional Unown inside his body, the time he could roughly remain in the Primal Secret Realm had increased from the original half a year to over a year now.

In other words, Julian could still stay for another four or five months.

But he still chose to leave. For one, the Cobalt Coastlands had already been thoroughly explored, and the remaining time wasn't enough to explore another region.

Secondly, before entering, he had forgotten to tell his family that his stay in the Primal Secret Realm had been extended.

If he stayed inside for eight months without coming out, not only would his family worry, but the higher-ups of Drakoria would worry as well.

Julian was now the greatest pillar of Drakoria. If he still hadn't emerged from the secret realm after eight months, nations around the world would basically start speculating whether something had happened to him inside.

And of course, the most important reason was that he simply wanted to go out.

At the entrance of the Primal Secret Realm, the guards saw the light gate ripple a few times and immediately perked up, knowing that Champion Walker, who had entered earlier, was about to come out.

So one of them spoke into the walkie-talkie: "Champion Walker is about to come out. Everyone, prepare yourselves mentally."

Prepare mentally for what?

Of course, for the possibility that Julian's Pokémon might undergo a breakthrough on the spot again.

The previous two times, Julian's Dragonite and Lucario had broken through to the Champion tier right as Julian exited the secret realm. Their aura had blanketed a hundred kilometers around the secret realm gate, and everyone within that range had been unbearably overwhelmed.

This was now Julian's third time coming out. Having experienced the first two times, they were afraid there might be a third, so a heads-up was necessary—better to be mentally prepared.

"Champion Walker."

After Julian emerged, the guards nearby immediately saluted him.

"Mm, hard work."

Julian nodded.

Drakoria had deployed a large number of troops and various powerful thermal weapons around the Primal Secret Realm. Besides all that, trainers were, of course, indispensable.

When he entered the secret realm, John would basically always be stationed near the secret realm gate.

Sure enough, just as Julian came out, John had already arrived, riding on his Metagross.

"My good grandson."

"Grandpa."

Julian was happy to see his grandfather.

"My dear grandson, if you hadn't come out soon, I would have gone in looking for you. You're half a month later than last time. Did something happen inside?" John asked.

Julian actually wasn't sure exactly how many days he had been in the secret realm this time. In the past, exiting the realm had always been determined by how much the realm's energy eroded his body.

But since his grandfather said so, it must have indeed been about half a month later than the last trip.

"Meta~"

The Metagross beside him also nodded.

"Grandpa, lately I've been going to bed early and waking up early, and I've discovered that I can now stay in the Primal Secret Realm for over a year. So this time I stayed inside a bit longer."

Julian casually made up an excuse on the spot. The Unown matter definitely couldn't be mentioned, and he couldn't be bothered to come up with a more elaborate one either.

"That's great—my dear grandson has picked up such a good habit. That means your body has gotten even better."

John couldn't care less whether his grandson was telling the truth or not. As long as Julian was fine and had only gotten better, what more was there for him to say?

"I brought back some good stuff from the secret realm for you."

Julian spoke with an air of mystery.

"Oh? Then Grandpa will have to take a good look when the time comes."

John was immediately intrigued. Anything his grandson called "good stuff" was bound to be an Ultimate treasure of some kind.

"Let's head home first. Call Uncle's family and Aunt as well. As for Grandma's share, I'll give it to her later," Julian said.

John was stunned for a moment. He had thought this "good stuff" was just a single item, but now it seemed there was something for everyone in the family.

This only made him all the more curious.

Watching Julian and John leave, one of the guards was a bit absent-minded and muttered softly, "So this time Champion Walker didn't have any Pokémon break through to the Champion tier?"

His face even showed a hint of disappointment.

After all, the stronger Julian was, the greater their confidence, and naturally, the prouder they felt as well.

The voice was very soft—John didn't hear it, but Julian did.

Pop!

With a Poké Ball popping open, Tyranitar appeared.

"Tar—!!!"

The aura of a Champion soared into the sky, dispersing the clouds directly above. The presence blanketed over a hundred kilometers, and the entire sky became filled with fine yellow sand.

Compared to the auras of Dragonite and Lucario before, Tyranitar's aura was far more violent and unrestrained—and this was with it consciously holding back most of its power.

Otherwise, the surrounding ground would have shattered outright.

Still, the few guards standing closest were knocked unconscious by the sheer force of the aura, their eyes rolling back as they collapsed to the ground.

Julian: 'There, satisfied now?'

"Alright, that's enough."

Julian shot Tyranitar a glare. It really wasn't him who told this guy to come out—the brute had popped out entirely on its own accord.

The aura subsided, and Tyranitar looked at the few humans who had fainted and scratched its head sheepishly.

It wasn't like it had done this on purpose. It had just seen that its two seniors, Dragonite and Lucario, both broke through right as they exited the secret realm gate. Although Tyranitar itself had broken through while still inside the secret realm...

It still wanted to follow in its seniors' footsteps and let the world know that it, Tyranitar, had become a Champion too.

"I didn't expect Tyranitar to have become a Champion already."

John's face showed surprise. Among his dear grandson's team, Tyranitar had joined far later than Melmetal and Steelix.

Yet, old-timers like Steelix and Melmetal still hadn't broken through to the Champion tier, while Tyranitar had overtaken them from behind.

"It had some opportunities in the secret realm," Julian explained briefly.

As he spoke, he recalled Tyranitar back into its Poké Ball.

John didn't ask further, only nodding. And the two of them quickly departed.

And with Julian's third venture into the Primal Secret Realm coming to an end—and with a Pokémon becoming a Champion on all three occasions—the news immediately became the hottest topic of the day.

---

> A Totem Tyranitar and it's a Champion... all you can say is Champion Walker is awesome.

> Melmetal, as a Mythical Pokémon, is still stuck at Pseudo-Champion tier—it's probably crying in the bathroom right now.

> Who do you guys think would win in a fight, Aggron or Tyranitar, since both are Totem-class Pokémon?

> Definitely Aggron, since it became a Champion earlier than Tyranitar.

> Blind pick: Tyranitar, no question.

> The fact that Tyranitar can blanket a hundred kilometers in yellow sand is just terrifying.

> That's nothing. If it wanted to, it could turn an entire province into a desert within a month.

> I'm a princess of Anglia's royal family. Drakoria has had a tradition of political marriages since ancient times. I'm willing to represent Anglia and enter a marriage alliance with Julian.

---

Amidst the dense flood of comments, one such comment suddenly popped up. At first, everyone thought it was just someone messing around—plenty of people did that sort of thing.

But then they discovered that this ID genuinely belonged to Anglia, and the account was even officially verified.

In other words, she really was a princess of Anglia.

And just like that, Anglia's princess publicly expressing her desire for Julian instantly exploded in popularity, quickly overshadowing even the heat of Julian emerging from the secret realm and Tyranitar becoming a Champion.
