Chapter 333 - SPOP Chapter 331 Challenge

The pirates watched as Rojen's group boarded the ship. When the Logan slowly adjusted its heading and began to sail away, the crowd finally erupted into excitement.

"I firmly believe that at this moment, we are witnessing the birth of history and legend!"

One pirate stared at the Logan and muttered softly.

This was a group of young yet powerful people. There was no fear in their eyes; they were the bravest warriors of the sea. And he firmly believed that such a group would succeed.

Gradually, the harbor of Tesloski could no longer see the shadow of the Logan.

The pirates withdrew their awestruck gazes, feeling a trace of disappointment in their hearts. They might never again see pirates of such greatness in the future. To them, merely being able to witness figures like these was already the highest honor.

"Let's go back. We have our own voyage ahead of us as well."

The pirates began gathering into groups, preparing to leave.

But suddenly, large numbers of Marines poured out from the streets near the harbor, their guns and cannons all aimed at the pirates.

Talos stepped forward, his face cold and stern.

"We had no way to deal with Rojen's crew. But do you really think you can escape this place so easily?"

The sound of marching footsteps echoed continuously as more and more Marines arrived. The invisible pressure caused the pirates' expressions to change.

"Tesloski Island is not pirate territory. Since you dared to cause trouble here, then prepare to spend the rest of your lives in prison!"

Talos said icily as he raised his hand, preparing to give the order to attack.

Bang!

A faint gunshot suddenly rang out, and Talos's expression instantly changed.

Grinding his teeth, he abruptly looked toward the distant sea.

There, the Logan was already three thousand meters away. Yet that faint gunshot had undeniably come from the ocean. The fierce wind from the bullet had even sliced a thin line of blood across his cheek.

Talos slowly turned his head and noticed, from the corner of his eye, a small black hole that had appeared in a nearby wall.

He clearly remembered that the wall had been completely intact just moments ago.

"Rojen!"

Clenching his fists tightly, Talos's expression became extremely ugly.

He suddenly realized that this was a threat, a warning. That shot from the distant sea had definitely been intentionally fired off target, its purpose being intimidation. Without question, the moment he gave the order to attack, the sniper rifle aimed at him from that ship would fire once more.

And that next shot would not merely graze his cheek.

It would pierce straight through his forehead.

Talos's guess was correct.

On the Logan, three thousand meters away,

Trens calmly lowered his sniper rifle and casually slung it over his shoulder before turning to walk back toward the others.

"Aren't you going to keep watching?" Mr. 1 asked in confusion.

Just one shot, and he gave up attacking? Would the Marines really retreat because of that?

"There's no need."

Trens left with a smile.

Mr. 1's eyes flickered. He still didn't believe it, so he remained at the bow with a telescope, watching the distant harbor.

But what he saw next caused his expression to turn serious.

To his surprise, Talos, the Marine officer bearing the rank of Rear Admiral, actually turned around and left with an ugly expression. No matter what, he never gave the order to attack.

The threat contained in Trens's single shot had forced Talos to abandon resistance.

All the pirates on the island had been saved by that one bullet, further elevating the status of the Nether Soul Pirates in the hearts of pirates everywhere.

"So his name is Trens?"

Mr. 1 asked blankly as he looked at Crocodile beside him.

"Yes, Mr. 1. No matter what happens, never doubt the strength of my companions. Every single one of them is far beyond what you can compare to right now." Crocodile replied calmly.

"How is that possible? Those six guys?!"

He abruptly turned his head to look at the group of six.

The six men were grinning and fooling around. Ever since boarding the ship, they had acted completely unserious, like idle street thugs with nothing to do.

He truly could not see how people like that could possess any real strength.

"They?"

Crocodile raised an eyebrow, a smile appearing on his face.

"You can try them yourself."

Mr. 1's expression shifted. That was right, he simply could not believe that people like them possessed any great strength. There was absolutely no imposing aura coming from those six, and even their bounties were practically impossible to find anywhere in the world.

Without hesitation, Mr. 1 strode forward and stopped in front of the six men.

"Oh? A newcomer? You want to play too?"

Dragon-Elephant Five asked with a grin, while the other five also looked at him, smiling.

"I want to challenge you." Mr. 1 said coldly.

"Challenge us?" Dragon-Elephant Five froze for a moment, then burst into loud laughter.

"Did you hear that? Hahaha! Someone's actually challenging us!"

"This feels amazing. We're officially veteran members now! Hahahaha!"

"Wait, this kid just joined, right? Doesn't that make him a trainee crew?"

"Right, right! If he's a trainee crew, then all the chores on the ship are his responsibility now!"

"This feels great! Seriously great!"

The six of them chatted noisily among themselves, thoroughly enjoying it, completely ignoring Mr. 1 standing nearby.

"Hey! I said I want to challenge you!"

Veins twitched on Mr. 1's forehead as he suppressed his anger and spoke in a low voice.

No matter how he looked at these people, he simply could not see any strength in them!

"Ahem, fine! I accept your challenge!"

Dragon-Elephant Five cleared his throat dramatically and shouted.

Being doubted and provoked by a newcomer did not make the six angry at all. Instead, they looked delighted, as though they found the whole thing entertaining.

The others nearby also watched with great interest, eager to enjoy the show.

Thus, a newcomer's challenge against an old member officially began.

Dragon-Elephant Five found an open area and stood there casually, facing Mr. 1.

"Let's do it here. You can begin anytime!"

Seeing how carefree and unconcerned the other party looked only made Mr. 1's gaze grow colder.

"I ate the Supa Supa no Mi, the Dice-Dice Fruit. I'm a Blade Human. Once I attack, I won't show mercy."

He spoke icily.

"A Devil Fruit user?"

Dragon-Elephant Five suddenly became interested and excitedly urged him on.

"Hurry up, hurry up! Let me see your ability!"

Such a careless attitude only infuriated Mr. 1 further.

Without another word, he moved both arms. Instantly, his forearms transformed into metallic blades, as sharp as giant swords, astonishing everyone present.

"What a bizarre ability! He doesn't even need weapons!"

Jason exclaimed in amazement.

Crocodile narrowed his eyes but remained silent.

Rojen also stood nearby, watching with interest.

Mr. 1's attack was incredibly fast. The distance between the two vanished almost instantly. Then, with a crossing slash of both arms, a flash of blade-light streaked through the air.

The next moment, Mr. 1 had already appeared behind Dragon-Elephant Five.

But his expression became ugly.

"You missed."

Dragon-Elephant Five's amused voice sounded out as he turned around to face him.

"That's impossible!"

Mr. 1 shouted in disbelief.

The target had been right in front of him, how could he possibly have missed?!
