Chapter 946 - Chapter 947: Raditz

The small, baseball-shaped spacecraft quickly entered Earth's atmosphere. Ethan and the others had already arrived at the landing zone ahead of time, watching the spaceship in the sky approach the ground.

"It's just like the spaceship Goku used when he came to Earth."

The spaceship Goku used as a child was also like this, but they did not know these were single-person spacecraft used by Frieza's forces. So when they saw this type of ship, their first reaction was: Could it be a Saiyan like Goku?

"A Saiyan suddenly coming to Earth, could they be looking for Goku?"

When Ethan introduced Frieza, he did not mention the spacecraft, and Frieza's main forces used large ships when they mobilized. It was not strange that he did not recognize this small ship.

So, except for Ethan, everyone was fairly relaxed, at most wondering why this person's energy felt somewhat evil.

After watching for a while, they quickly determined the landing spot of the small spacecraft. They flew up again and headed toward the landing site.

Standing on the ground and sensing the direction of the opponent's energy to determine the landing point is difficult to do with much precision. Earlier, they had only identified the general landing area. Only as the opponent got closer to the ground could they pinpoint the exact location.

Just as everyone was slowly flying over, Raditz's spaceship successfully landed.

This kind of spaceship was truly sturdy. Its method of landing by simply crashing into the ground was simple and brutal.

Ethan thought for a moment and realized that these single-person spacecraft carried combat personnel. When they traveled to various planets in these ships, they were basically heading there to wipe out the civilization on that planet.

This impact-style landing method, while maintaining a certain speed, could prevent the spacecraft from being destroyed in midair. It could also clear the surrounding area effectively, preventing them from being killed by concentrated fire immediately after landing, before they even had time to get out of the ship.

Additionally, this landing method created a major disturbance. If there were no intelligent life forms nearby, it might attract intelligent life from not too far away, allowing the warriors to quickly understand the situation on the planet and what its inhabitants were like.

Of course, this was all Ethan's own speculation. Maybe they did not think that much when designing this ship and were just too lazy to come up with a proper landing method.

With the current strength of these people, even while suppressing their energy, it only took them a very short time to reach the spaceship's landing site.

When Ethan and the others arrived, a strong man with long black hair was standing beside a large crater, saying that classic line to a burly man holding a gun: "Your power level is only five! Trash!"

Just as he was about to kill the useless man in front of him, his scouter suddenly began beeping repeatedly, signaling that someone was approaching.

"Hmm?"

Raditz slightly raised his head, following the scouter's indication, and saw a group of people flying toward him from a distance.

"Oh? I didn't expect there to be quite a few strong guys on such a remote planet... Does this mean Kakarot's mission failed?"

Raditz continuously observed the power levels of these people with his scouter, and one number after another appeared before his eyes.

"This... How is this possible?"

Although Ethan and the others had suppressed their energy, even the energy they displayed while suppressing it was enough to shock Raditz.

"The lowest power level is five thousand... Is the scouter malfunctioning?"

Turning his head to look at the person next to him, Raditz hesitated about whether to get rid of this bothersome fellow first, when he suddenly noticed a very familiar-looking person among the group flying over.

"Is that... Kakarot?"

While he was stunned for a moment, Ethan and the others had already landed in front of Raditz. And the local farmer, upon seeing Goku, immediately recognized him as the celebrity who often appeared on television, known as the strongest man on Earth, Son Goku.

"Ah, it's Mr. Son!"

The farmer no longer paid attention to the strange person who had emerged from the strange object and happily ran up to greet Goku.

Completely unaware that he had inexplicably escaped death, the farmer was delighted to meet a celebrity and chattered on about a lot of irrelevant things, until Krillin finally interrupted him.

"Um... we have some things to deal with. How about you take a photo with Goku after we're done?"

"No problem, go ahead!"

The farmer happily stepped aside, then looked over curiously.

He had no intention of leaving. Watching a spectacle is an instinct ingrained in all races, in any country, in any world. Unless there is a real danger to themselves, few people voluntarily leave a lively scene.

During this time, Goku took the opportunity to keep looking at the man opposite him. Because of Ethan's earlier reminder, he immediately noticed the tail wrapped around the man's waist.

The other person was also looking at Goku. The scouter kept beeping and only stopped after a while.

"Kakarot, I recognized you at a glance. You look exactly like Father."

"?"

Goku was stunned for a moment before realizing that the other person was talking to him.

"You said... Father?"

"Hmm?"

Raditz was a little surprised by Goku's reaction and did not understand what was going on with him.

Although Saiyans are sent out to fight from a young age, they are not completely ignorant of their identity just because they are newborns.

They directly implant Saiyan knowledge into the brains of newborns, and this knowledge is gradually digested as they grow older.

This is not to turn all Saiyans into intellectuals, but simply to give them more time to fight and avoid wasting too much time on these boring things.

"What's wrong? Don't you remember who you are?"

Goku shook his head, giving Raditz a speechless answer.

"I hit my head when I was little. I don't remember anything, and I only found out I was a Saiyan because my friend told me."

Goku pointed to Ethan beside him, and Raditz followed his gaze to look at Ethan.

The number displayed on the scouter was around ten thousand. He suspected that his scouter was seriously malfunctioning, because when he had scanned Kakarot's power level earlier, the number shown had been a staggering eight thousand.

This was completely ridiculous. Kakarot had been sent to such a remote planet precisely because his power level was low, making him a low-class warrior.

Furthermore, according to the values shown by the scouter, the power levels of this group of people in front of him were basically around ten thousand. Except for one woman with no power level, everyone else was much stronger than him. How was that possible?

If Earth were this dangerous, they would never have sent a low-class warrior like Kakarot here in the first place.

The problem with the scouter could be set aside for now. What annoyed him most was that Kakarot had lost his memory.

"Hmph, no matter what, at least you know you're a Saiyan..."

As he spoke, he looked at Ethan again. He found it a little strange. On a remote place like Earth, someone could actually recognize a Saiyan? Had the Saiyans' reputation spread this far?

"As long as you remember that, the rest doesn't matter..."

"Even if it doesn't matter, you should at least tell us who you are first, right?"

The only person who could interrupt without hesitation at this moment was Bulma. She had been watching from the side for a while and found this guy's attitude very unpleasant.

Raditz glanced at Bulma, who was standing not far away, completely unconcerned with someone so weak. However, with Kakarot still standing opposite him, he still introduced himself.

"I am Raditz, one of the few remaining Saiyans... Also, I am your older brother, Kakarot."

"What?"

Raditz's words surprised everyone. Krillin even looked back and forth between the two of them and noticed that they did indeed look somewhat alike.

"So they're brothers, is that why he came to Earth?"

Raditz glanced at Krillin but did not answer him, instead continuing with what he wanted to say.

"At present, there are only you, me, and two others left among the Saiyans."

Everyone here knew that the Saiyans were nearly extinct, but they had not expected there to be only four left. Krillin, who reacted the fastest, immediately thought of something.

Excluding Goku, there were only three Saiyans left, and Ethan had said that Frieza had a few Saiyans under his command... Could it be?

As Raditz introduced himself, Krillin confirmed his guess from his words. Sure enough, the remaining Saiyans were not good people, including Goku's older brother.

Raditz described the Saiyans' way of life, destroying the civilization on a certain planet and then selling the occupied planet at a high price. Even though the Saiyans were nearly extinct, the remaining few were still doing this kind of work.

He had come to Earth this time not only to see whether Earth had been cleared, but also to call Kakarot to join the other two Saiyans in attacking a more troublesome planet.

"Although your power level... um..."

He had originally wanted to say that although Kakarot's power level was not very high, having one more person helping out would make things much easier, especially since Saiyans could use transformations to increase their strength when necessary.

But now he could not say that. The value displayed on the scouter made him feel a bit awkward, and naturally he could not say those words.

"No matter what, you can still help... Huh?" Raditz suddenly noticed that Kakarot did not have a tail. "Where's your tail?"

"I cut it off!"

"You cut it off..." Raditz was instantly furious. "How could you casually cut off such an important tail for a Saiyan, you idiot!"

Just as Raditz was about to scold him further, he suddenly felt something light brush against his cheek, and his scouter had disappeared without him realizing when.
