"How do I know that you already took my father's curse?" Alana asks Sienna-Rose, still struggling to believe that something that has tormented her father for months could really be over so quickly.
Sienna-Rose doesn't answer immediately. She remains beside her wives, her attention calm as she looks toward the distant horizon through the palace windows. The faint green mana surrounding her has already settled, leaving no visible sign of the immense amount of magic she has just used.
Silas, however, can still sense it. He stands a short distance away, his attention following the magical currents that continue moving through the room and beyond it. His expression gradually relaxes as he traces the remaining mana toward the Farnese estate.
"Oh, the curse has been taken," he says.
Alana turns toward him. "You're certain?"
Silas gives her a look before returning his attention to the magical current. "Completely."
