Silas steps into the Queen's private tea room and immediately notices the atmosphere. His eyes move past Queen Eleanora and settle on the four women seated around the table before finally landing on the collection of blackened objects resting atop a silver tray.
Silas pauses at the entrance of the royal tea room, and for a brief moment he simply blinks. Queen Eleanora sits at the head of the table, her teacup untouched. Across from her are Sophia, Olivia, Claire, and Haley, all four of Sienna-Rose Miller's wives gathered together in one place. The sight alone is enough to tell him that something is seriously wrong.
Because they would never come together like this for a small matter. Not when Sienna-Rose is the strongest sorceress on the continent, and certainly not when all four of them are here without her.
