"Soooo, what the hell happened while I was gone?!" Lazarus asked as he looked around the nearly destroyed colosseum with craters deep slashmarks and large chunks of the colosseum were gone.
Lazarus looked at Dakarai who lay on the ground with a book on his face. "Oh, Amaris and i had a disagreement and decided to settle it like adults." He said with the book still on his face.
Lazarus stared at the destruction they left in their argument and sighed. "You could have atleast fixed the colosseum, you know. I don't like things being messy if I can help it."
Dakarai lifted the book with his shadow as he stared at Lazarus with a deadpan expression across his face.
"What?"
"You do remember I share the same memories as you, right?"
"Yeah, what about it?"
"You do remember your former apartment wasn't clean half the time, and you only it 2 or 3 times a week." Dakarai finish as he placed the book back on his face.
Lazarus red-faced as he couldn't deny what Dakarai said. "Well, I had also of thing to take care of like school, job and rent." He tried to defend himself.
"To which you made harder by rejecting the money Lason, Cassandra, and Ragnar offered to you on multiple occasions."
"I didn't want to be a burden."
"They were all rich or come from rich families. Like Ragnar is probably a millionaire since he has been hunting supernatural and selling certain body parts and remember Astra trapped you and the twins inside 3 different bounded-fields which again aren't cheap to make." He paused to let that information to sink in but continued to add on.
"Also the Bloodfire has so much money if they wanted to they could technically buy multiple countries since their quite old and their families is responsible for training alot of vampires in combat."
"Haaa." Letting out a sigh of defeat he sat next to Dakarai as he continued to read the book on his face.
"What you reading?"
"Oh, Felicia's memories. You know the woman you killed."
"Oh yeah? Any valuable info in there?" He questioned as he leaned in.
"No not really much as most of her life is that of a scandalous woman, who felt entitled to what she thought was hers. she was constantly out shined by other members of her former coven.
She also seemsd to have been in a relationship with the necromancer. But thats as important as, her enhancement magic is actually quite dangerous in the right hands." He finished as he lifted his upper-body to be in a sitting position.
He raised his arm and green magical circles wrapped around his arm than disappeared leaving a faint green glow on it.
"Pretty much, Felicia enhancement magic can amplify most of the physical or magical states. Which is why those undead were moving like super soldiers. But with you it can be used to a far greater as you have options with close and ranged combat."
Which Dakarai isn't wrong as witches use magic slightly different than others practitioner of magic. Since they use what's called the "circle methods". which is where they create magical circles in their heart that act like a medium for their magical energy. But they can also use the magical energy from outside sources.
"Yeah, yeah, that cool and all but I'm gonna need her soul to revive and give to Astra's sister who's coming."
Dakarai looked at him and gave a faint smile. You seriously don't have patience sometimes, but, we're keeping her magic okay. Oh and before I forget, when you entered that red-haired stated your's have a bit too much power being released so I had to point it somewhere. You meet them when wake up.
"What are you-" he couldn't finish his sentence as he was pulled away.
"Fucking son of a bit-" before he could curse his doppelganger he felt something under the sheets. He lifted them to see what was underneath and what he saw was a surprising guess.
As what he was staring at was a small creature that resembled a black tiger cub, with horns that were slightly larger than its head with golden marks along their length. It's eyes resmbled the color of rubies, and a pair of black feathery wings could be seen on its back.
The creature looked at him than it slowly approached as it rubbed its head affectionately on his leg.
Lazarus smiled and lifted the creature into his arms. "Hello there little one, whats your name?" He said as he cradled it in his arms and rubbed it's belly. To which the little cub purred.
Lazarus looked at the cubs and decide to put most of his questions on the back burner. He left his room and entered a corridor of immaculate architecture, with bright colors of white, gold, and pink.
The floor was made from pure white marble with wide rectangular windows which provided a view of a beautiful garden.
He continued on his walk until he found a large double doors.
' Is anyone's awake?' He thought to himself, but yhr doors suddenly opened as Astra walked up with a bathrode which explose some of her cleavage and long legs. Her hair was damp from water from the shower.
"Oh my bad." Lazarus said but didn't look away.
"Oh it's okay, but may I ask why you came here this early?" She asked as afaint smile could be seen on her lips. "Are you maybe hungry~?" She said in a suggestive tone as she let her robe hang of her shoulders and moved her hair to the side to offer her neck.
Lazarus eyes gave a faint glow as his fangs slightly elongated, but he stopped himself. "No, actually i came her to discuss about our deal. But I greatful for the offer."
"Oh boooo~. Thats no fun but okay! Come-" She finally notice the small bundle in Lazarus arms. "Ahhhhh! Who is this cutie patootie? Where did she come from? And can i hold them?! Astra extended her hand to hold the cub which resulted in the cub waking up
*hissss* the winged cub let our a small hissed at her as if climbed on Lazarus's head, which caused Astra to pause in motion, and for Lazarus to offer an consolatary smile.
"Sorry about that she doesn't seem to like others touching her."
