Zhang Yu thought to himself, "And on top of that so‑called Supreme Immortal Artifact… I'm afraid every sect has the ability to overturn Kunxu, trigger a kalpic catastrophe, even destroy the world. This is simply more terrifying than Earth's so‑called nuclear mutual binding; it ought to be called Dao‑system mutual binding, shouldn't it?"
Zhan Xian said, "It is precisely because each of the Ten Great Sects has the ability to overturn the table that the Ten Great Sects can maintain a certain level of peace between them, keeping all conflicts within a certain intensity, within the controllable range of the Ten Great Immortal Emperors."
"But for that very reason, the entire world is jointly gripped in the hands of the Ten Great Sects; lifetime after lifetime it all becomes the Immortal Emperors' feed, and the common people under heaven will never see a day of turning over their lot."
