I woke up again by the suffocating feeling in my chest and numbness in my left arm.
Damn, why did they have to lie down this way? If they changed positions and my right arm was numb instead, I wouldn't think every time I woke up that I was in the midst of a heart attack, scaring me nearly into a real heart attack.
However, when I opened my eyes, I noticed that something was wrong with Henry.
His head was pressed into my chest, lying sideways across the bed, with his feet sticking out of the mattress.
He was trembling, and my shirt was soaked.
"Henry??" I called out and shook him, but he didn't react.
I had to slip my hand out of Ren's grip to flip Henry over.
The puppy was crying, but that wasn't all; there was a bunch of spit coming out of his mouth as if he were unable to swallow.
This... looked like a seizure.
"HEY!" I was instantly on my knees and shook him to wake him up, feeling a dread-filled panic.
