When Bonnie could cry no more, she floated the body out with her, found a car, and took him back to Mystic Falls.
While there, she attends his funeral, and tries giving his ring to Caroline's mom, asking her for forgiveness, but finds that she is sick. Talked to Tyler's mom, promising out of habit that she wouldn't fail him, though the words rang hollow coming out of her mouth. In all likelihood, she would kill him in her quest for revenge, as Tyler has never been a priority for her, but figured why crush the woman's last hope.
Grabbing the tiara she left behind out of a sense of guilt, she headed back to New Orleans with one goal in mind: to kill every vampire there was.
...
After Bonnie leaves, Elijah and Klaus arrive with his loyal hybrids at the explosion site, confirming it was the casino, the meeting place of the human faction.
"Seems someone got to them first. I want you four to quickly take control of the deputy mayor and the next police chief. Also, get the news to spin a believable tale about what happened here," ordered Klaus. "It's time I take full control of this city, there's no more need for factions."
The hybrids he called out quickly dispersed to carry out his orders.
"The rest of you with me, it's time we take care of the witches. Don't you agree, brother?" Klaus asked Elijah with a smirk.
"Certainly, it'll be one less thing standing in our family's way," Elijah agreed.

Marcel returns to the compound to find his forces decimated and Thierry locked up. Forgetting about the explosion he heard when he left the Strix headquarters
"What happened?" asked Marcel, looking upon his mad friend trying to break the chains from the wall and get at them.
"I'm sorry Marcel I fucked up. They knew we were coming. They captured and tortured Thierry's girl, his secret informant, setting a trap for us. Then the Elder bitch cast something on him, turning him into this," said a much-deflated Diego.
Marcel frowned. "This reminds me of that priest Sean. This isn't good. I'm not sure it can be reversed…" His thoughts trailing to Davina, the one witch who might have the power to do something.
"Then let me go, I'll bring that bitch back here even if it kills me," Diego swore vehemently.
Marcel gripped his shoulder, "If I thought it would help, I would, but don't worry, I have a plan, just keep him locked up for now."
Diego gave a firm nod.
Smelling blood, Marcel noticed Diego's arm dripping, and asked, "Are you hurt? What's wrong with you?"
"Oh, yeah. I don't know. While retreating, an unknown woman stood in our way, slashing at us with this sword. She managed to nick me on my arm, and it still hasn't healed," Diego answered.
"Show me," said Marcel, getting a bad feeling that he knew what it was.
Stripping his shirt off, he exposed his arm, revealing a mark Marcel knew all too well.
"Her name is Rayna Cruz, the slayer. You just survived a brush with death," said Marcel, looking very concerned.
"The slayer? What do you mean?" asked Diego with furrowed brows.
"She once came here centuries ago, hunting the Originals and any vampire that got in her way. Nothing could stop her; no matter how many times she was put down, she would always rise again. And those whom she cut with her sword, apart from the Originals, would never heal… Allowing her to track them," Marcel explained, his eyes landing back on the mark, realizing the threat of his presence here.
"But she failed, didn't she? I mean, the Originals are still here, so maybe this is a different one. You did say it was centuries ago," said Diego hopefully.
"No, as far as I know, she can't die. The only reason she couldn't kill the Originals back then is because she was outnumbered, fighting against the entire family alone, and while it hasn't been proven, I have a feeling that sword can kill them if she lands a killing blow, but one day she just up and left for some reason, no one knows why, the witches speculated she was called back for something else," said Marcel.
"Then... I need to leave, don't I?" asked Diego hesitantly.
Marcel frowned. The last thing he wanted was to lose another important member. "I may know some people who can help, hang tight for now."
Rushing back to the Strix Estate, Marcel seeks another meeting with Tristan.
An attendant entered the office to announce him, "Sir, Marcel Gerad is here to see you."
"Oh, let him in," said Tristan, leaning back in his desk chair.
Marcel hurries in to greet him.
"Marcel, we weren't expecting you back so soon. I take it this is about the explosion?" asked Tristan.
"Explosion? Oh, right, I forgot about that. No, my people were fighting the witches when the slayer turned u… and I see you know who I'm talking about," said Marcel as Tristan dropped his relaxed manner.
"The slayer is here?" questioned Tristan seriously.
"She is. One of my people has been marked. I was hoping you had a way to deal with it," said Marcel.
Tristan frowned and turned to the closest attendant. "Go call The Sisters and inform them that I need them."
The attendant bowed before leaving.
"I didn't think they would send the slayer, we'll have to push up our timetables. Are you up for the challenge?" asked Tristan.
"I still have most of my elites. I'll get it done," said Marcel confidently.
Two of The Sisters entered the room.
"The slayer is here, and my guest would like for one of his marked men to be hidden," said Tristan, addressing the two cloaked witches.
"This can be done, we'll go with him to ensure it can't be traced back to here," answered one.
"This is also an opportunity to study the link between the mark and the slayer, increasing our knowledge and chances to sever the link to the Originals," said the other.
"Good, go now," ordered Tristan.
"What about the slayer?" asked Marcel.
"I'll create a group to lead her out of the city until we've accomplished our goals," said Tristan.
