Xerneas's appearance was unexpected for Aoki, just as Yveltal's appearance had been.
However, if Yveltal was there to destroy, then Xerneas was there to protect Magearna.
Watching Magearna's condition gradually stabilize with Xerneas's help, Aoki stood by without interfering.
Whether as humans or as Pokémon like Tyranitar, the descent of a divine office was a rare sight.
After a moment, Xerneas stopped its actions, glanced at Aoki, who was waiting nearby, its eyes conveying an indescribable meaning, then turned and disappeared.
Aoki watched Xerneas leave without hesitation, wondering if its appearance here was purely to help Magearna resist the sudden appearance of Yveltal, or to help Magearna stabilize her divine office, or perhaps to do both simultaneously.
But after completing its task, it left without hesitation, much like Diancie had done previously.
The commonality between the two Pokémon might be that they are both Fairy-type Pokémon and both possess the potential to become Legendary Pokémon.
Just as Aoki was still pondering Xerneas's intentions, changes began to appear on Magearna's body.
Her mechanical body, the seal on her chest slowly opened, and the Soul-Heart floated out from within, emitting an intense, blinding life energy.
However, Aoki could clearly sense Magearna's consciousness within the Soul-Heart at that moment.
The entire Sky Fortress, due to such dense life energy, began to transform again, like a Transformer, its external appearance resembling a giant version of Magearna.
The place where Aoki and his Pokémon were currently located was within the eyes of that giant Magearna.
As long as Magearna wished it, her enormous body could move freely according to her thoughts, without any obstruction.
The outermost metallic layer of the original Sky Fortress, which had been covered with some city wall bricks, now completely peeled off, revealing the hidden metal beneath.
When Azoth Kingdom, under the leadership of Electrify, built this Sky Fortress with the nation's full might, the metal used was not ordinary metal.
After all, the ancient Azoth Kingdom, with its advanced mysterious science, was considered a relatively large country in the entire Kalos region, and it could mobilize a considerable amount of resources.
Moreover, with the transformation by the life energy within Magearna's Soul-Heart, these metals underwent some changes.
Electrify's design from the very beginning was centered around the Soul-Heart, with everything tailored to perfectly fit the Soul-Heart and allow it to unleash its power to the fullest extent.
Aoki felt that even Electrify himself probably couldn't have imagined everything that was happening to Magearna at this moment.
The presence of this life energy could even fully activate the metal on the entire Sky Fortress, turning it into a part of Magearna, like her small body, growing along with her.
It was hard to imagine all of this happening before his eyes—a metal machine transforming into a living being?
From Aoki's human perspective, this was completely fantastical, but the more it was so, the more it highlighted Magearna's current miraculous nature.
After the Sky Fortress transformed into Magearna's likeness, it changed again, returning to its original form.
The Soul-Heart, suspended within the room, also retracted, returning to Magearna's body.
"Buzz—"
Magearna opened her eyes, first showing confusion, then fully regaining clarity, looking at Aoki with affection.
Aoki smiled and walked towards her, the slowly receding aura of a Legendary Pokémon gradually stabilizing.
A true Legendary Pokémon!
On this day, he not only witnessed metal "come alive" but also saw a Pokémon, from an ordinary Pokémon, ascend to the status of a Legendary Pokémon in one fell swoop!
From then on, Magearna was this massive Sky Fortress, and the Sky Fortress was a part of Magearna's body; as long as she was within it, a mere thought could move the entire metal fortress according to her will.
Furthermore, as Magearna's strength gradually increased, this metal fortress would also gradually grow stronger, because it had completely merged with Magearna!

"As expected!" Aoki thought silently as he scanned Magearna's current data.
Her potential upgrading to purple was within Aoki's speculation, and Aoki even once extravagantly hoped that Magearna's potential might reach the limit for a Pokémon, deep purple!
After all, it wasn't just the descent of a divine office, but also the special potion she drank at the beginning; theoretically, there was indeed a good chance of her potential increasing.
However, purple is not blue, and it's not that easy to improve.
Of course, Aoki's focus wasn't here, but on the held item section, which originally only had the lonely Soul-Heart, but now had an additional one, Soul of Machinery!
Magearna's divine office!
The chip had little contact with such ethereal things as divine offices, and could not obtain relevant information from Team Rocket or the Alliance's databases, so when Aoki directed his attention to this Soul of Machinery, the chip did not provide any explanation.
However, from the name itself, one could deduce a few things.
Magearna's opportunity to become a Legendary Pokémon was when she merged with this mechanical fortress, which Electrify custom-built for her.
Since it is the Soul of Machinery, it can certainly control many mechanical objects, and this fortress is the first one Magearna controls!
Perhaps in the future, she could control even more, indicating that Magearna, like other Legendary Pokémon, possesses nearly infinite possibilities.
Moreover, Aoki saw that Magearna's original ability, Soul-Heart, had changed from its first awakening to its second awakening, so does that mean there might be more awakening possibilities and opportunities in the future?
"Ao… Aoki-sama…" At this moment, Jarvis, who was off to the side, spoke tremblingly.
He had witnessed everything that had just happened, but the more he saw, the less he understood.
However, as a mysterious science scientist second only to Electrify, he had done some research on this fortress and knew that it was built entirely around Magearna's Soul-Heart as its core. Now, the entire machine seemed to have come alive, and that feeling was very distinct.
Aoki's lips curved into a smile as he glanced at Jarvis, who was sitting on the ground, and walked with Magearna to the control room window, gazing at the boundless, vast sky in the distance.
Standing at this angle and looking down at the world, the feeling was completely different; it was like standing on the highest peak, with all other mountains appearing small.
Earlier, in order to deal with Yveltal, he hadn't paid attention to the scenery, but now he finally had time to appreciate this difference.
Slowly, he spread his arms, tilted his head back, and closed his eyes. His Pokémon all stood behind Aoki.
Darkrai, Tyranitar, Aggron, Gengar, Honchkrow, Slowking, Drapion, Salamence, Gardevoir, Venusaur...
All of Aoki's Pokémon appeared by his side, gazing at the world together.
"For the first time, I feel like I will no longer be bound by this world; I can confidently do what I want to do!!" Aoki's face was filled with extreme confidence.
Although only Magearna became a Legendary Pokémon, Aoki faced Yveltal this time without any hesitation or intention to evade, choosing to confront the legendary Pokémon head-on.
Moreover, in the face of its attacks, his Pokémon were not entirely without the ability to resist. If it weren't for protecting Magearna's fortress, Aoki believed his Pokémon wouldn't have to be purely defensive.
If they launched an attack, the target wouldn't be as large, and Yveltal's attacks wouldn't be as easy to hit them.
Jarvis also appeared behind Aoki, looking at the vast world, a smile unconsciously appearing on his face.
It was indeed time to go out and see such a big world; the small Azoth Kingdom would no longer be his cage.
Aoki took another look at the world outside, then strode back into the control room, casually tossing his Elite Four cape. An iron throne appeared beneath him as he sat down, the moment he sat down also being the moment the throne fully formed.
The Sky Fortress was now a part of Magearna; Magearna's will was the Sky Fortress's will. With a single thought, the entire fortress could move according to her will.
"Jarvis, activate the stealth device.
Magearna, let's go, destination, Hoenn region!" Aoki said to them.
"Yes, sir!" Jarvis held his scepter, placed his right hand over his left chest, and bowed to Aoki in a standard noble's salute.
As the hereditary First Minister of the Azoth Kingdom, he had learned noble etiquette from a young age, so he performed it without any awkwardness.
Magearna nodded obediently upon hearing Aoki's command.
Accompanied by the sound of turning gears, the Sky Fortress swiftly flew towards the Hoenn region.
At the same time, Jarvis immediately activated the stealth devices pre-installed around the Sky Fortress, making it disappear into the clouds through light refraction.
Aoki casually named this Sky Fortress the Sky Bastion!
As the Sky Team's base in the sky, the Sky Bastion was quite sizable, capable of accommodating tens of thousands of people without feeling crowded.
If Magearna wished, she could even create individual rooms within the Sky Bastion for people to live in.
...
One day was enough for the Sky Bastion to return to the Hoenn region, allowing Aoki to attend his champion inauguration ceremony on time.
However, cutting it so close to the deadline clearly made Steven and Wallace feel the time was quite urgent.
Representatives from various regions had already arrived in Hoenn, and only Aoki, the protagonist, had yet to appear at this hour.
This was a major event concerning the Hoenn League's reputation; the inauguration ceremony was scheduled for tomorrow, and Aoki still hadn't shown up.
Just as Wallace, Steven, and others were anxiously pacing back and forth in the chairman's office, Aoki's sudden appearance via Instant Transmission startled the two old men.
"You brat, do you want to scare us to death? Is being a Psychic amazing? Coming and going like this all the time!" Wallace patted Steven's chest, grumbling.
"Pat yourself! I wasn't scared at all!" Steven irritably shook off Wallace's hand.
Ever since he learned he could retire peacefully, Wallace had been spending his days in Steven's office, drinking tea and eating snacks, and he had gained quite a bit of weight.
Moreover, with no pressure on his mind, he had increasingly come to resemble an old mischievous child, causing Steven endless trouble.
Every time Adams saw Drake's obnoxious demeanor, he wanted to resign on the spot and send Drake to heaven.
Fortunately, he had enough self-control. Otherwise, every day, while he was buried in various documents and affairs, there would be someone who pulled up a small table and sat beside him, enjoying a fragrant cup of tea and several delicious-looking donuts.
From this, one could calculate the shadow area in Adams's heart.
But there was nothing he could do. Who made this person able to retire and not have to bear any responsibilities, while he was even older than him and still couldn't retire? It was simply unfair.
"Aoki, are you ready?" Adams forcibly suppressed the envy, jealousy, and hatred in his heart, ignoring Drake and asking Aoki.
Under the full-speed flight of the Sky Fortress, Aoki finally arrived before dark, and tomorrow would be the start of the official ceremony.
Hearing this, Aoki nodded confidently, "President, don't worry, I am full of confidence now!"
The improvement in strength naturally brought full confidence!
Seeing Aoki so confident, the two old men were, of course, happy.
After all, this represented the crucial moment for their Hoenn League to transition to a new generation of rule!
"Then you should go and get some good rest. Tomorrow, from morning to night, will be a busy day!
And... we've found a very good opponent for you, who can both allow you to showcase your strength and increase your credibility!" Adams said to Aoki.
Aoki nodded and instantly teleported away again.
Looking at the spot where Aoki disappeared, the smiles on Adams's and Drake's faces slowly faded.
Bang—
They both almost simultaneously sat back in their seats.
"What you said, is it highly credible?" Drake looked a bit decadent.
"I don't know either, but..." Adams rested his head on one hand, looking no better than Drake.
"Then why didn't you refuse that day, or... didn't you warn me? If it's really like this..."
Adams slowly shook his head, "His growth is something we've watched from beginning to end. Although the speed is indeed a bit exaggerated, each time there's a very reasonable explanation, and just looking at these, it's indeed not enough to confirm this matter. You have to know... you have to know, he almost represents us, the future of our entire Hoenn.
And, most importantly, do you think... he has done anything to betray our Hoenn?"
Listening to Adams's question, Drake fell into deep thought. After a moment, he slowly shook his head, "I don't know, but from my perspective, no, it can't even be said to have harmed our Hoenn League. On the contrary, he has provided us with countless help and brought us so many benefits."
Adams nodded, his eyes gradually becoming resolute, "That's enough. No matter what it is, from the moment he appeared until now, he hasn't done anything to harm the Hoenn League. So even if someone does report him, we can't stop trusting him because of that."
It sounded as if he was comforting Drake, and also as if he was comforting himself.
But no matter what, from this moment on, the rift in their hearts could not be removed.
And at such a critical moment, no matter what, it was no longer something they could control.
"Besides, besides, we're not too old to move, are we?" Adams said with a smile.
Drake nodded silently. Although he was unwilling to believe it, ever since he took Aoki as his apprentice, many people had been slandering him. From initial suspicion to complete certainty later, he had proven this point with his actions.
It's just... this person is different this time, very different. What he said made people realize that the credibility was not low.
"I hope... it's not like this..." Drake thought silently, head bowed.
...
"Aoki, you're about to become Champion, how do you feel?!" A young man in a dark red robe with a dark red cape draped over his back appeared. This person was Lance, who had just transferred to the Johto region and become the Dragon-type Elite Four of the Johto region.
Aoki becoming Champion this time could be said to be a grand event for their younger generation, so even though the Dragon Clan was in a very bad situation, Lance still came.
He really wanted to see how Aoki, who had needed to pass his test to become a Gym Leader back then, and whose strength was much weaker than his own at that time, had now become a regional Champion before him.
This feeling of being overtaken, even by a good friend, still had a sense of frustration, more or less.
So he had to attend this ceremony!
Of course, it wasn't just Lance who participated in this major event. There were also Cynthia from the Sinnoh region, Diantha from the Kalos region, and even the younger generation from the Unova region, with whom Aoki didn't have such a harmonious relationship.
Aoki patted Lance's shoulder and said with a smile, "How is it? Is the Johto region okay?
You are a treasure of the Kanto region, running off to the Johto region. I guess your President's mouth must have been worn out, right?"
Lance was considered a treasure in both the Kanto and Johto regions, so he might receive even better treatment by going to the Johto region.
Hearing this, Lance smiled helplessly. From his smile, Aoki could see the weariness in Lance's smile, "No choice. Although I've never been very fond of the Dragon Clan, they and I are, after all, related by blood. This is a mark I cannot erase.
And to stabilize the entire Dragon Clan, they have now pulled out all their family's assets, just hoping that I can become Champion quickly..."
Immediately after, the others also gathered around, each offering congratulations.
They were all old acquaintances, so Aoki didn't stand on ceremony with them and gladly accepted their congratulations.
His current strength indeed surpassed everyone here, so there was no need to be modest. Great strength naturally brought full confidence.
"By the way, how are your Mega Stone collections coming along recently? You all have at least a few Pokémon that can Mega Evolve, right?" Aoki asked with a smile.
Everyone here was part of the network of connections he had accumulated over the years.
Sometimes, a person's network of connections is more important than their actual strength.
Hearing Aoki's words, the people around them all smiled, more or less. After all, some of them had benefited from the information Aoki had given them in advance when they were on the Space-Time Continent.
And some others had also, more or less, gained an advantage through Aoki.
Only the people from the Unova region didn't seem as happy.
For some reason, the precious Mega Stones, based on the consolidated statistics of the League, were found to be most abundant and relatively concentrated in the Hoenn and Kalos regions.
The Hoenn region was understandable, as the discoverer, Aoki, was from the Hoenn region, so it seemed logical.
But the Kalos region was somewhat unexpected to others, more or less.
In fact, if Aoki hadn't had Team Flare collect a lot of Mega Stones in advance, the League would have probably found even more Mega Stones in the Kalos region.
Even with Aoki's intervention, the number of Mega Stones discovered in the Kalos region was not inferior to that in the Hoenn region.
This led to a sudden surge in trainers traveling to these two regions, causing the Leagues of both regions to be both pained and happy.
The pain was because people were coming to find Mega Stones and get a slice of the pie.
But there were also benefits, further promoting the movement of people, capital, and Pokémon in these two regions, allowing the development of both regions to accelerate.
And it's not impossible that some excellent trainers, impressed by the natural environment and Pokémon of these two regions, would choose to settle down, which would also be a great benefit to both Leagues.
After all, even Aoki, who was about to become Champion today, although his earliest fame was as one of the "Hoenn Twin Stars" with Steven, everyone knew Aoki's origin was the Kanto region back then.
For this, the Kanto League and Johto League still felt heartache when they thought about it now.
And among those who chose to settle, it's not impossible that there would be a few geniuses. Although it's almost impossible for someone of Aoki's caliber to appear again, as long as it's a talent, it's a great gain.
Other regions didn't even have the chance to have such worries.
So, many trainers from other regions came to Aoki's Champion coronation ceremony today, drawn by his reputation.
In addition, the Hoenn League had spent a month promoting this event, with continuous updates on television and the internet, lasting for a whole month!
"Yo, this must be young Aoki, right? I've seen you on TV all the time, hahahaha—" A person appeared in front of Aoki and the others.
A man with reddish and orange-yellow hair, which spread out like a burning flame, and a large amount of hair tied into a braid behind him. He wore a loose robe on his upper body, and a necklace made of Poké Balls hung around his neck. He looked like a middle-aged uncle.
Aoki and the others showed respectful expressions when they saw the newcomer, "Champion Alder!"
That's right, the newcomer was Alder, the current Champion of the Unova region.
Like Aoki, he wasn't a trainer who specialized in one type. His Pokémon training wasn't very targeted.
Alder saw their expressions and immediately waved his hand, "Oh, oh, don't be like that. There's no difference between me and you. We're all trainers who love Pokémon, so there's no need to always say 'Champion' or 'Mister'."
As he spoke, Alder slowly approached Aoki and the others.
Everyone knew something about Alder's deeds, more or less.
In fact, Alder was also a very talented trainer, famous in his early years. He became the Champion of the Unova region when he was nearing middle age, guarding one side and protecting the entire Unova region.
However, during a mission to protect the Pokémon League, because the mission was too important, he had to let his Pokémon exert their strength excessively. Although the mission was completed, Alder's Pokémon died of illness afterward.
Because of this, Alder himself was devastated and even wanted to give up his Champion status and choose to retire. That period was also the weakest defensive period for the Unova region. If it weren't for the Elite Four, the Unova region would have been in danger.
But later, Alder let go of everything and began traveling slowly with his Pokémon in the Unova region, seeking the true meaning of coexistence between trainers and Pokémon.
Over the years, his own condition slowly recovered.
He hadn't expected Adams and the others to be able to get Alder to come.
"Champion Alder is joking. The respect that is due must still be given," Aoki said with a smile.
It seemed that Alder's arrival this time was very likely to pave the way for Aoki's promotion to Champion, or rather, it shouldn't be called paving the way, but rather that Alder's appearance would make Aoki's Champion status more valuable and more recognized by others.
"You guys..." Alder shook his head. There was nothing he could do. He and Aoki were not from the same era. As an elder, if he wasn't respected, it would easily lead to gossip.
"Hahahaha—I didn't expect you to come too, Alder?" A few more people appeared from the side, led by Aoki's old acquaintance, Professor Oak.
Why did it seem like Professor Oak appeared everywhere? He always felt that as a professor, he didn't seem that busy; he seemed quite free.
"Professor Oak!" Adaman, who was originally of a higher generation here, didn't expect someone even more senior to arrive, so he respectfully greeted him along with everyone else.
"Aoki, after this is over, you really need to tell me all about Mega Evolution. We've been busy for half a day, and it might not be as effective as a single word from you." Professor Oak grabbed Aoki, ignoring everything else, and said just that.
Aoki saw the starry look in Professor Oak's eyes and knew that this time it wouldn't be easy to refuse.
He subtly pulled his hand out of Professor Oak's grip. The feeling of being held by a big man was always a bit hard to accept.
"Cough, cough, alright, after this is over, we can chat slowly," Aoki nodded repeatedly.
After speaking, Aoki bid farewell to everyone because the ceremony was about to begin!
"Next, please welcome our Champion, Champion Steven! And our First Elite Four! Sandstorm Elite Four, Aoki!!!" Amidst the host's loud cheers, Aoki and Steven, this master and disciple pair, appeared together.
The two walked to the center of the stage amidst thunderous applause.
Have you ever experienced being welcomed by tens of thousands of people?
That feeling of being the center of attention is absolutely unique and breathtaking.
"Kid… don't disappoint me," Steven said softly beside Aoki as they walked.
The sudden words made Aoki slightly stunned, then he nodded.
Seeing Aoki's subconscious reaction, Steven didn't say much more. Deep down, he still trusted Aoki immensely and didn't believe he would become what that person said.
The Champion's coronation ceremony was made very elaborate by the Hoenn League, but Aoki had no choice but to comply, as everything was for his own good.
Under everyone's gaze, a golden object, resembling both a trophy and a scepter, was handed from Steven's hand to Aoki's.
This scepter wasn't anything special; it was merely a symbol, serving only a ceremonial purpose.
However, on this scepter, there was a Poké Ball, and it wasn't just a decoration, but a real Poké Ball.
And it wasn't just any ordinary one; it was a Master Ball!
Any regional Champion, on the day they become Champion, receives a Master Ball, which is considered a token of gratitude or a reward for their role as the region's protector.
The Master Ball is the highest-grade Poké Ball that the Pokémon League has been able to produce to date.
It's only because Aoki has seen stronger Poké Balls that he might feel the Master Ball isn't that impressive, but in the eyes of most people, a Master Ball is a treasure comparable to a pseudo-legendary Pokémon's offspring!
After receiving the scepter, Aoki raised it high.
"Champion!!! Champion!!! Champion Aoki!!!"
"Champion!!! Champion!!! Champion Aoki!!!"
"..."
Throughout the entire stadium, cheers erupted, congratulating Aoki on assuming the Champion's position, and also congratulating their Hoenn region on gaining another young protector!
Aoki's strength was evident to everyone. The video of him instantly defeating three Team Rocket executives, which had been widely circulated online, is still watched by many people today.
There are also many "experts" online who meticulously analyze the strength of Aoki's Pokémon at that time and what possessing such power signifies.
"To further validate the Champion title of our newly appointed Champion, Champion Aoki, we have specially invited the current Champion of the Unova region! Champion Alder!
This is to let everyone understand what kind of strength our Champion Aoki possesses now!!!" The host, after the ceremony concluded, reappeared very appropriately.
Upon hearing the host's words, the entire venue cheered once more.
"Alder!! Alder!!"
"Alder!! Alder!!"
"..."
After all, he was the current Champion of the Unova region, and Alder's deeds were no secret in this era of advanced internet. His popularity was also very high.
Moreover, there were quite a few trainers from Unova currently traveling in Hoenn, so the cheers for Alder were only slightly quieter than those welcoming Aoki as Champion.
Amidst the cheers, Alder leaped from the nearby audience seats, performing a nimble flip to land on the stage.
Alder travels in the wild without relying on Pokémon for flight or any other transportation; he simply moves alongside his Pokémon.
He climbs steep rock faces himself and crosses rushing rivers himself, so his agility is quite excellent. Even if he can't compare to some martial artists skilled in combat, he is still much more formidable than ordinary people.
After Alder appeared, the entire stage split in the middle, and a massive battle arena slowly rose from below.
This was where Aoki and Alder would battle.
"Little brother Aoki, I was too busy to tell you earlier, but today I'm here as your opponent!" Alder said with a wide smile, waving at Aoki.
Aoki also had a smile on his face and nodded, saying, "I already guessed. It's a good opportunity today to determine my current strength through this battle with Mr. Alder!"
"Hahahahaha—Excellent! Very confident!" Alder laughed happily as he watched.
A battle between two regional Champions!
This was a battle that most people would never witness in their lives, and today, they were fortunate enough to behold it.
Aoki had completed the ceremony and succeeded Steven as Champion, meaning that from this moment on, he officially became the Champion of the Hoenn region!
And the other was a figure who had held the Champion position for over ten years. How would the battle between these two unfold?
This thought arose in everyone's minds, and at the same time...
Who is stronger?!
Reason told these people that the stronger person should be Adams. After all, he had been Champion for decades, so wouldn't it be natural for him to be stronger?
However, a thought lingered in everyone's minds: what if? What if the younger Aoki won?
It wasn't impossible, was it? After all, Aoki was already a genuine, publicly recognized Champion, so as a Champion, he couldn't lose, could he?
Moreover, Adam's closest and strongest Pokémon had already passed away, so his strength might not be at its peak.
A battle with suspense is always more captivating.
This was a battle they might never see again in their lives!
In the eyes of the audience, this would be a unique and exciting battle, but in the eyes of Adam and Aoki, it was actually just a test and a performance.
A test to see what level Aoki's strength had reached, and a performance to showcase the strength a Champion should possess.
Therefore, an all-out battle wouldn't be suitable for this occasion. The most appropriate format would definitely be a one-on-one battle.
"Then, next!!! Let's invite our two Champion sirs to demonstrate to us what true Champion power should be!!!
The battle rules are: each person uses six Pokémon, which can be sent out in rotation and swapped at any time. There are no rules for swapping Pokémon. When one person's six Pokémon all lose their ability to battle, the other party is the winner!"
Simply put, whoever's Pokémon are all incapacitated first loses. Other than that, there were no other rules.
Aoki and Adam both nodded with serious expressions.
Although it was an exhibition match, both represented the face of their respective regions. It wasn't something that could just be dismissed as "playing around."
After all, even if they thought so, it didn't mean the audience did. Once someone thought of them in the future, the first thought would always be the name of the winner!
This was a preconceived notion.
"Since I'm the senior, I'll start!" Adam's hearty voice rang out again. He unhooked a Poké Ball from his belt and threw it.
A light green Pokémon was summoned, looking somewhat like a Pokémon made up of individual bubbles.
A Psychic-type Pokémon, Reuniclus! A registered Pokémon of the Unova region!
Reuniclus's nucleus is light green, and its shape, like humans, has four limbs, but its head appears larger than its limbs.
It has a red mouth and a pair of black eyes, and its entire body is enveloped in a green cellular membrane. Protruding from both sides of its head are parts of this membrane, each containing light green objects. This cellular membrane also forms large "hands" protruding from its sides, with three finger-like parts on each hand.
Within the cellular membrane protruding beside its hands are four objects of various colors. Two of them, like the nucleus, are light green, the third is orange, and the last is red, with the latter being larger than the other three.
A part of the cellular membrane also protrudes from below its abdomen, but it is not as prominent as the part protruding from above its head.
Aoki narrowed his eyes as he looked at this Pokémon.
Pokémon: Reuniclus (Light Blue)
Gender: Male
Level: 89
Type: Psychic
Ability: Magic Guard
Held Item: None
Egg Moves: Confuse Ray, Recover, Trick, Imprison
Basic Moves: Dizzy Punch, Psywave, Reflect, Rollout, Snatch, Reflect, Snatch, Hidden Power (Fire), Light Screen, Charm, Recover, Psyshock, Endeavor, Future Sight, Pain Split, Psychic, Skill Swap, Heal Block, Wonder Room

TM Moves: Calm Mind, Protect, Safeguard, Shadow Ball, Rock Tomb, Energy Ball, Dream Eater, Substitute, Trick Room
This was the first time Aoki had encountered a Reuniclus. After all, the Unova region was the only region he hadn't visited yet, and he wasn't as familiar with people from Unova as he was with those from other regions.
However, Aoki was aware of this type of Pokémon; he just hadn't battled one before.
Similar to Gardevoir in the Hoenn region and Alakazam in the Kanto region, Reuniclus is a Psychic-type Pokémon specializing in special attacks.
However, Reuniclus is considerably slower than those other Pokémon.
But being slow doesn't mean it lacks corresponding battle strategies. From Reuniclus's moves, Aoki could roughly guess its fighting style.
Moreover, Reuniclus's ability is quite excellent.
Magic Guard: Prevents damage from anything other than direct attacks.
This means that continuous damage from weather, status conditions, stat changes, and so on, will not affect it in any way.
Its greatest utility, however, should be in team battles.
But today, there are no team battles!
