The original Orchestral Violex was given to Veneri after he woke up after his awakening of being a Seventh Enlightenment. He didn't get to see Melody who had already died when he woke up. He saw her corpse next to him on the cave holding a letter in her arms. He never read the letter and instead, buried her corpse in front her statue.
He got the Violex from her that was next to her corpse and realized something. Thyrexxa had told him that once he gained possession of it, the enchantments would change based on who wielded it. That meant that the true enchantments of the violex would be gone the moment he used one of them.
Melody's Edition of the Violex had five enchantments. The first was [The Symphony of Time.]
The Vialex can be played to alter the flow of time itself. The wielder can manipulate the temporal boundaries of the world around them. By playing the right chords, the wielder can slow down time, speed up time and freeze time.
The second one was [Echoes of the Past.]
It is one of the most potent abilities of the Violex. By playing a specific series of notes, the wielder can tap into the echoes of previous moments in time. This allows them to witness events from the past as if they were occurring in the present. This is what he used to initiate his plan. The moment he played it, he used this immediately.
[The Future's Whisper] was the third one.
It can also be used to glimpse into the future, though only in fleeting glimpses. When played, it creates a Resonance of the Future, where the sound waves reverberate through time and space, revealing brief visions of what is to come. These glimpses are often fragmented and cryptic, but they can offer crucial insights into decisions that must be made.
This is the second Enchantment he activated. He wanted to see the future of his plan and if it was worth it. And once he found out what it would do, he kept playing. He was on the right track.
[Temporal Wounds] was the next one.
The instrument could tear at the linear flow of time, causing rifts that destabilize the world around it. These rifts may result in periods of time loops, where events repeat endlessly, or time fractures, where the past and future collide and distort reality.
He used this once when helping Natalis and Denisia to make their Holy Array back in Nyramith Island. Now, he began to use it. In the entire process, the boundaries of Regnum Musicae was being broken by this. The sapphire radiance broke through the entire realm and spread to Technographia, where the Time Pentarch was waiting.
That's when the portal separating Regnum Musicae and Technographia shattered. They now followed the same time flow and this time, the impact was heard everywhere.
That was when the Time Pentarch flew into the shattered portal. It was like an emerald meteor flying straight to the glowing Protection Pentarch. Adela was panicking now. She tried to get close to stop him but it was too late. She couldn't get even a centimeter close.
The Time Pentarch finally fused with the Protection Pentarch. The fusion of two Seventh Enlightenment Divines caused his Divine Presence to surge to extremely high levels. Adela and Alpha II were pushed down by the pressure. Luminescent withstood it but he could barely hold himself up.
'He's not even a Deity and he can still enact this much power? Just how powerful is this man?!'
The Time and Protection Pentarch were now fully fused. That was when Vastarael saw Adela, who was trying to speak but the pressure was too much. She had already realized what he was about to do. He smiled and activated the last Enchantment of the Violex, [Harmonization of Existence.]
With this, the Violex can align the flow of time with the user's will. The wielder can, for a limited time, become the master of time, bending it to their desires. However, this comes at a great cost.
The longer the harmonization lasts, the more the wielder risks losing their connection to the natural flow of time, potentially becoming a Timeless being outside of fate—lost, without purpose and forever adrift in the infinite sea of temporal possibility.
This was his main goal.
He continued playing, making him a Timeless for as long as he continued playing. Vastarael's fingers never stopped. The bow kept moving. The melody kept climbing. He was past the point of hesitation now.
Three portals opened.
They split into existence around him like wounds in the world. One tore open to Earth, where the Justice Pentarch was finally waking up. One opened to Ledatic Siliportem, where the Love Pentarch had been waiting beside the campsite with the others. The third opened up to Cassandra, where the Water Pentarch had already prepared to leave everything behind.
The portal to Cassandra shimmered with salt air and cold sand. The Water Pentarch was already there. He had taken the Obsidian Runic Spire inside his soul before leaving. He had already said his goodbyes in his own way. Now all that remained was his departure.
Asenane saw him leave. She did not shout. She did not stop him. She just closed her eyes and then she fell to her knees.
The sight of it hit harder than it should have. She had accepted it long before the rest of them did. The people who understood the plan best were also the ones who had to suffer through it most quietly. Her hands pressed into the ground. Her shoulders trembled once before the tears came.
The Water Pentarch did not look back. He had to keep going.
The portal to Ledatic Siliportem emerged next, carrying the meadows, the sleeping camp, the faint sounds of breathing and fabric shifting in the rising sun. The Love Pentarch stood there for one last moment outside the campsite, staring at the people who were still asleep, still unaware of how final this morning was going to become.
Jack and Luciana were already taken along with the plan exactly as intended. The Love Pentarch had already made sure they would be part of the next step. There was no room for panic now.
He looked back once before he stepped through.
The moment the Love Pentarch entered the portal, he felt the pull of the other selves waiting on the other side. Vastarael's glowing form stood there in the center of the shattered realm. When the Love Pentarch crossed the threshold, he did not hesitate. He let himself be drawn in.
The Earth portal opened wider. The Justice Pentarch finally woke up.
He had been asleep in a hotel room with Narisva. He stared at the ceiling for a second, then at Narisva beside him, and sighed like a man who had been given a very long rope and had finally reached the end of it.
He looked at her, leaned over and kissed her forehead. It was barely a gesture at all but it carried everything he could not afford to say. Narisva did not wake up or maybe she did and chose not to move. After all, she was always comfortable whenever she was with him so she let herself sleep for a while longer.
He reached for the edge of the bed and started to stand when Elest appeared.
"You're leaving her here?"
The Justice Pentarch gave him a tired look.
"Yes."
"You're sure about that?"
"She'll be able to endure."
"She's not made of rock."
"She's stronger than you think."
"That's not the point."
The Justice Pentarch was already moving toward the portal, but Elest stepped in front of him.
"If she finds out you're gone…"
Vastarael stopped and held his shoulder as he continued waking.
"Take care of her for me, would you?"
"Why?"
"I have to do this. If not, everyone I know and love will die."
That was all the explanation anyone needed. For a second it looked like Elest was going to argue anyway but then he let out a long, slow breath and nodded once.
"I'll protect her."
The Justice Pentarch gave him one last glance.
"Thank you."
Hoe stepped into the portal.
The second he entered Vastarael's presence, the fusion struck with even greater force. The sound of the Orchestral Violex changed again, becoming fuller, Luminescent was still there, hanging on through sheer force of will. He could feel it too the density of power being woven into one singular existence.
And at the same time, in another realm, Natas could already feel the change. He sighed as he sat on his chair.
"He really is a suicidal maniac."
The force of the fusion rippled through Technographia as an immense tremor.
Vastarael's body shuddered under the weight of the convergence but he did not stop playing. The Violex only became more tiresome in his hands. The harmonization enchantment was still active. Time was bending around him now, submitting to his will for as long as he kept the song alive.
Adela saw it.
She had already seen enough to understand what he was doing and now there was no room left for doubt. She tried to speak, but the pressure was too much. The space around him was so thick with Soul Energy that it became nearly impossible to approach. Her body leaned forward instinctively but she could not even make it a centimeter closer. The same was true for Alpha II. Both of them were forced down under the sheer weight of what was unfolding before them.
Luminescent, somehow, remained standing.
He clenched his teeth and forced his body upright. He could feel the fused Divinities radiating from Vastarael like a star and for the first time, his disbelief became something close to fear.
Vastarael saw Adela at that moment.
She was trying to say something but the pressure pinned her in place. Her face told him she had already figured it out. She knew he was leaving now so the only thing he did was smile at her.
The last Enchantment, [Harmonization of Existence] was now at maximum output. The effect was immediate and terrifying.
The Violex's final enchantment aligned the flow of time with Vastarael's will. He was no longer merely playing against time or within it. For a limited moment, he became its master but he would be trapped forever in a place where time felt wrong.
That was exactly what he wanted so he continued playing.
The sound of the Orchestral Violex rose higher. Time around him twisted into streams. His body glowed so bright it was almost impossible to look at him directly. The fused Divinities inside him settled into one complete structure. And as he played, the boundaries of every surrounding realm began to react.
The complete Seventh Enlightenment Vastarael Richinaria stood at the center of it all. That was when he stopped playing.
