Both of them understood that the woman's grief was too heavy to be restrained.
She continued hitting him until her strength began to fade, tears streaming down her face.
"How are we supposed to live without him? You people are monsters!"
Her voice cracked as she cried, and her young son stood nearby, staring at everything with frightened eyes.
Eventually, the woman became completely drained of energy and collapsed to her knees.
Aurora slowly walked toward her.
She then knelt in front of the grieving woman, bringing herself down to her level.
Her own eyes were filled with sorrow as she spoke softly.
"It was our mistake, and we accept responsibility for it. We cannot bring your husband back, but we will never abandon you or your child. We will take care of both of you for the rest of our lives."
"As for him, we will honor him."
The woman glared at Aurora, her eyes still swollen from crying.
