The Countess kept looking at the Count with dead eyes for a few seconds before finally sighing.
"Honey, you are not even a Baron at this point, but a Count. Please show some qualities of a Count," she muttered as if this was far from the first time she had said those words.
She looked back at Theo.
"But he has a point this time. If this really works, then the family name is meant to stand beside it from the start."
The Count grinned as if he had won something important.
"See? I help too."
Theo looked around the room, and for some reason, the pressure in his chest eased a little. Until now, he had been making all the plans on his own. Now, it felt like he had gained far more than financial support.
"Then I will show you everything important tomorrow," Theo said before looking at Bram. "You too, Elder Brother. With how you reacted to the beetle's shell, I think there are things you might want to see more than the others."
